“OK, what's your plan?” talia asked Kyle while poking at the buttered turkey. After standing in the hallway for two hours of lessons, Talia's entire energy felt like it was being sucked out. His sense of regret towards Kyle had also not completely subsided.
“We create an atmosphere where you look weak and alone so that Ludwig immediately orders his pets to attack,” explained Kyle whose plate was filled with piles of roast meat.
“Where exactly did your brother keep the beast? Reportedly Dirlagraun has also disappeared from the forest since the incident attack on Leo. But when I saw him in a dream, it was obvious that Ludwig was talking to the Dirlagraun in the middle of the forest,” asked Talia curiously.
“He must have his own territory in the forbidden forest. Areas that the guards refused to visit. Only Professor Ursula can give such permission to ordinary disciples,” Kyle replied in a hateful tone.
“Wah, your family is indeed on a different level. Does that mean you're also the golden boy of the teachers? I think our Head of Department also gave you special treatment. You have a better room than the other students. And even this morning, Professor Li did not rebuke you at all. I'm the only one being punished! Isn't that unfair,” protests Talia continues to grumble.
Kyle snorted a little then laughed amusedly. “It's not my fault that they treat me with reluctance. I didn't ask to be special,” kilah Kyle while sitting next to Talia with a large plate of grilled meat and a glass of non-alcoholic wine.
“At least you can defend me. For almost two hours I was standing in the hallway. It feels like my calf muscles are burning right now,” Talia's nagging unbroken.
“You should have used body lightening magic. You have mastered the four basic elements of magic.”
“If from the beginning I could use magic at will in school, I didn't have to bother moving my hands and feet to take this food,” Talia growled while glaring.
The problem is, in the Academy the teachers have installed magic crystals to detect the use of magic out of place. The rogue disciples who used their strength outside of the lesson hours would be detected quickly and get punished. The average punishment was as unpleasant as cleaning up an arsenal of magic equipment, or feeding griffins.
“Then next time you have to keep your mouth shut during the lesson,” Kyle recalls later.
Talia sizzled irritably with her mouth full of turkey meat. “I don't understand why I should be involved with a person like you,” said the girl sarcastically.
Kyle laughed when he heard Talia's complaint. “You did it yourself, now you complain too. You weird kid.”
Talia continued her lunch still grumbling. Kyle does not try to improve Talia's mood, but the young man reveals his plans to put Talia in as bait. A plan that is easy and straightforward to talk about, but difficult to deal with.
In the afternoon, after the lesson was over, Talia and Kyle waited until the school was quite quiet. They plan to create a situation where Talia walks alone through the Academy grounds, according to the girl's previous vision. Kyle would pretend to go back to his dorm first, then quietly go out and hide nearby.
Unfortunately, his hopes were buried just like that. As the sun was about to sink, with the sky dark and star-studded, Talia heard the sound. The snarling sound of a savage beast was so close and terrifying. There was no one on the field at the time. Talia was completely alone and had to face the beast.
Feeling that there was no point in running away, the girl finally stopped running. Exerting all her courage, Talia turned around and faced the pair of red eyes that were looking at her nigh. The animal was exactly as he had seen it in a dream, big, savage, and intimidating. The two tentacles growing on the animal's back twitched wildly as they aimed their attacks at Talia.
The girl immediately put up the horses and raised both of her hands to start performing elemental magic. The Dirlagraun walked slowly while growling towards him with a strong killing intent. Talia's a little daunted. But with all his abilities, the girl launched the first attack. A huge white ball of wind whirled in his right palm, the longer it got bigger and bigger to a head of an adult. Talia's hair, robe and skirt fluttered about due to the wind she gathered.
The dirlagraun was about to hit when Talia finally threw the ball of wind towards the beast. But as expected, the wind ball attack had absolutely no impact on the Dirlagraun. Instead, the savage beast swallowed the ball of Talia wind round and round while jumping towards him.
Talia screamed loudly and then fell backward because she was not ready for the attack. The distance with Dirlagraun was less than a meter. The next instant, a streak of dark aura similar to a pitch-black fog, emerged from behind the back of the savage beast. The dark aura repelled the Dirlagraun's attack and suffocated him in mid-air. The shocked Talia looked at Dirlagraun who was now thrashing out of breath. The dark aura it uterus enveloped the body of the beast until it was no longer visible.
“You okay?” Kyle's voice suddenly sounded from Talia's right side.
The girl turned her head and found Kyle raising one hand and unleashing her magic ability that was able to control the dark elements.
“K, Kyle .. ,” sigh Talia with teary eyes.
Kyle squeezed out his outstretched fist and heard Dirlagraun's roar sounding terribly agonized. A few moments later, the Dirlagraun no longer thrashed or groaned in pain. Kyle pulled back his dark powers and made Dirlagraun's suffocated body fall on the ground.
“A, is he dead?” tanya Talia was still lying on the ground.
Kyle threw his gaze towards the Beast Tamer department building. He stared intently at the man standing behind the third floor window, Ludwig.
“No one has ever lived after receiving my dark attack,” hissed Kyle in a hateful tone.
Talia was still trembling on the ground. His body was so weak that he could no longer stand. Moments later the people who heard his screams and Dirlagraun's roar began to come out and approach them, including the teachers and even Professor Theia, Head of the Enchanter Department.
