The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Familiarity

“It ... only .. because I hate you. I curse you with writing. Because of you now I am the target of Ludwig,”, Talia said again making a silly excuse.

Kyle took a deep breath, looking so guilty. “I'm sorry about that. You must be uncomfortable. I'll take responsibility for making you trouble.”

For a moment Talia was choked and at a loss for words. He did not expect that Kyle, who used to be arrogant, had now suddenly become so gentle in front of him.

“Not. It wasn't your fault. Sorry because I spoke carelessly,” said Talia who also felt guilty.

Kyle smiled faintly in response. “I heard you didn't resign,” said the young man switched the conversation.

“My father assured the Academy. But it looks like they will be watching me more closely after this. We must know Ludwig's next plan,” Talia said.

“Do you have any ideas to see his future again?”

“Entahlah. Still think. It feels like my life is like an egg shell on the tip of a horn. Can be destroyed anytime,” lamented Talia desperate.

Kyle suddenly rubbed Talia's head gently. “Take it easy. I will protect you,” comfort the young man with a warm smile.

Sontak Talia frowned in astonishment. He looked at the young man while making sure that his sight and hearing were not wrong.

“Why are you suddenly being nice to me?” tanya Talia was suspicious.

“You don't like?” Kyle asked back.

“Not so. I'm just not used to.”

Kyle took a short breath. “You're my only friend now. Of course I have to treat you well,” he replied later.

Talia was stunned for a while. Kyle seemed sincere about it. Talia's heart was moved again. How could a kid like Kyle turn into a villain who kills a lot of people?

Five days have passed since the Dirlagraun attack on Talia. Since the beast had already been killed by Kyle, the alertness of the disciples had decreased. They were no longer filled with fear every time they had to take a walk around the Academy. Even so, the shadow of the attack sometimes still haunts Talia. It's been two nights that the girl had a bad dream. He always looks weak when he goes to school.

Kyle kept his promise. Every morning he picks up Talia in front of the girls' dormitory. The young man would always stick to Talia and even wait for her to go to the toilet. Then Kye will also drive him back to the dorm after dinner.

That routine made rumors of their closeness spread in the Academy. Talia and Kyle always get curious gazes from other kids wherever they go. Talia was not used to that kind of attention. Kyle looks uncomfortable too. But they both hold him for Talia's safety.

Several times the girl saw Ludwig and his friends from the Beast Tamer Department. They passed each other, and Ludwig only smiled from a distance. Kyle clenched his hands in annoyance whenever his eyes met the figure of his half-brother. The two Gothe brothers clearly did not seem to get along.

“It feels uncomfortable every time I see Ludwig. Does he know we're playing the scenario behind him?” ask Talia at lunchtime. He and Kyle sat in the corner. Just the two of them, since no child was brave enough to sit near Kyle.

“Kurasa no. Ludwig must have thought that it was just a coincidence,” Kyle replied as he poked the berry pie.

“Is that? But it feels like I can still not calm down before ascertaining whether he will act again or not.”

Kyle cut his pies in the size of a single bribe and then extended it to Talia. “Eat first. You seem to need to eat a lot of sweet food. Look at your eye bags. Don't worry too much and pay attention to your health as well.”

“Do I need to find a sleeping potion so you can rest well?” bargain Kyle while feeding Talia again.

The girl shook her head while accepting Kyle's bribe. “No need. Maybe you're right. I'm just too stressed and need to eat sweet food,” said with my mouth full. “By the way why lately you've always been feeding me food?”

Kyle laughed amusedly. “You only realized after spending a piece of pie?”

“Stop feeding me. I can eat by myself,” protest Talia upset.

Kyle just laughed in response and then stopped feeding Talia. A little later a girl came up to them and sat down in front of Talia and Kyle with her own lunch. Talia and Kyle were stunned because the rare incident was approaching them.

“Good afternoon the most phenomenal couple of the week. Did you enjoy your lunch?” ask the red-haired boy and those thick glasses.

“Susan?” sighed Talia and then sighed tiredly.

“Halo Talia, my friend. These few days I've been busy looking for news, so can't have lunch with you. Today I'm not too busy,” Susan said cheerfully.

Talia recalled the incident some time ago in the health building. Again the girl can only sigh tired because of her silly attitude that actually invites Susan Muela to be her friend.

“Exit, Muela. Stop bothering Talia with that weird magic of yours,” snapped Kyle seemed distracted.

“I don't bother him, Gothe. We were friends five days ago. Don't you, Talia?” susan made sure.

Talia could only grimace awkwardly. “Just let Kyle,” murmur to Kyle.

Kyle was still grumbling, but eventually obeyed Talia.

“Did you come to us for an interview, Susan?” ask Talia carefully.

Susan shook her head slowly while chewing the bacon. “No. My manipulative magic can't work if I talk to too many people. To get a satisfactory interview result, I have to speak with my source. No one can interfere,” Susan explained.

“O, oh. But why did you tell me that?” ask Talia not sure.

Susan smiled widely as she looked at Talia. “Of course because we are friends,” said the girl frankly.

Kyle was grieving next to Talia. “Are you lonely? We're even on a different level but why should you be friends with Talia? Find friends from your own generation, Muela,” said the young man ketus.

Susan glanced at Kyle with a no less annoyed expression. “Mirror only, Gothe. You alone actually made Talia hurt because of a brother quarrel with your stepbrother,” reply Susan sharply.

Kyle clenched his hand holding in anger. While Susan was glaring not to lose. Talia's situation is really uncomfortable. He just wanted to have lunch quietly.

“Enough. Please don't fight. Can we have lunch quietly,” Talia said later.

Kyle and Susan finally stopped fighting. The two were short-spirited and refused to talk to each other throughout lunchtime. Somehow Talia must now be caught between the two most averted children in the Academy. His days in the future will probably be more complicated than imagined.
