The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Past Times

After successfully mastering the water spirit, Talia is now no longer ambitious to master the other four spirits. He felt he had no reason to become stronger since the events in the forest yesterday. Which madman would attempt to kill the child he had saved, risking his life.

It is undeniable that Talia's view of Kyle has changed slightly. Although they never get along in public, Talia is caught off guard by Kyle several times, watching Ludwig.

“You've really been weird ever since,” Kyle complained as they were just having lunch together.

Susan is having a meeting with her newspaper club, while Leo is busy making new tools in the secret room. No one can interfere, he said. Ever since Dirlagraun's attack, Leo has become a little obsessed with making strange objects that he says are useful as protection. In the end, no one can stop Leo.

“He saved me from death, Kyle. How could I not feel indebted to him,” Talia said seriously.

“You always bring that up,” Kyle grumbled as he stirred his soup in annoyance.

“Because I think it's very important, Kyle. Can you hate the man who saved you from death?” persuade Talia to be patient.

Kyle took a deep breath and looked at Talia. “What if he had planned everything from the beginning? You never know, do you?” his hisses are full of suspicion.

“Although I am not too sure of your theory, I still feel indebted even if Ludwig did it deliberately. I saw him burn with my own eyes. And thanks to that I was able to summon the Undine. He did two things I could not face on my own. Not that I justified his previous actions. But still I feel like I have to return the favor to her,” Talia said as she threw her gaze at the opposite table, where the Beast Tamer children ate.

As usual, Ludwig was having dinner with his group of friends. But suddenly the young man turned to Talia as if he realized that the girl was looking at him. For a few seconds their gaze met and Ludwig briefly seemed to be smiling knots. Talia hurriedly threw her gaze towards the smoked meat that was in front of her. He was still uncomfortable with Ludwig's smile which more resembled that grin.

Kyle meanwhile could only sigh grimly. “If I saved your life, would you also be that bike to me?” ask the young man later.

Talia recalls her past memories. Kyle is immersed in his dark powers and destroys the entire kingdom because he is injured. Those memories made Talia shudder. There are so many mysteries in the Gothe family, and somehow he gets dragged into the vortex.

“From now on I will make sure I don't get hurt again, Kyle,” Talia promised. It seems like it's the only way to be able to keep Kyle from possibly becoming evil.

“What does that mean that you refused my help?”

“Not so. Never mind. We better discuss something else. This topic makes me dizzy. I'll stop talking about your brother from now on. So don't be too sensitive anymore about him,” said Talia seriously.

Kyle looked dissatisfied. But Talia pointed out clearly that she did not want to be denied. Kyle was silent.

“You alone, what did you do with your senior witch in the sorority. You guys must have done something, too, right?” ask the girl to switch the topic.

Kyle sighed softly. “Not much. He took me to the assembly solely because I asked for it. I'm curious because Ludwig was also involved with the association,” Kyle said frankly.

“Wow, have you known anyone from the beginning?”

“So who is that guy?” ask Talia curious.

“Deana Riel,” replied Kyle briefly.

Talia immediately remembered her meeting with the girl. Deana Riel is a third-rate student she has met in her previous life. At that time he told Talia and Kyle to enter Professor Rilley's room after Dirlagraun's attack on Leo.

“Reacted him. Deana is a prominent wind witch in our Department. It is fitting that he becomes the chairman of this generation association,” Talia commented later.

“After the inauguration of the member, we rarely meet again. He also knew that I didn't need to learn any extra lessons. He also seemed to have no interest in dealing with me,” Kyle said. “I didn't think Ludwig would take you,” continued the young man grimly.

“You think I'm no wonder,” said Talia sarcastically.

“I've explained my part. Now it's your turn. So what have you seen from my future. I know you're always trying to hide it. Is that bad?” todong Kyle later.

Talia choked, not expecting Kyle to ask the question. He can no longer see the future. Therefore he did not know if Kyle's future would also change. Even so, it might not hurt if Talia told Kyle now. As she gathers her faith, Talia begins to tell her about everything she has ever seen from Kyle's future.

Kyle listened carefully until Talia finished telling the story. The young man was stunned for a moment. “My strength is indeed dangerous,” his comments acknowledge.

“To be honest this dark force is eating me from the inside. Whenever I felt excessive emotions, he would take control of my body and do as he pleased. That's why I can't feel any emotion. Be it happy, sad or even love,” Kyle said grimly.

“Is there no way to stop it?” ask Talia sympathetic.

Kyle shook his head slowly.”Ludwig started to bother me after I first unleashed that dark power, when I was six years old. My mother died and I began to be overcome by darkness. My father managed to bring me up because he also had similar elements. However, if I don't manage to handle it myself, one day the darkness completely prey on me until my entire consciousness collapses.”

Talia's back on edge. Does that mean Kyle's future can't be changed at all? Even in the absence of Talia, Kyle might still be drowning in darkness and become evil. Suddenly he remembered Ludwig's words about his half-brother.

He's a dangerous man. Ludwig's words echoed in Talia's head. Somehow he felt Ludwig's remarks implied an answer to the tension of the two brothers during this time.

“Kyle ... Have you ever been familiar with your sister?” asked Talia who suddenly wanted to confirm something.

Kyle took a deep breath and stared at the chandelier on the ceiling of the dining room. “We used to be like a normal little sister. That guy was once a very good brother to me. At least before I unleashed dark power,” she explained half-swervingly. “By the way, why are you asking like that?”

Talia shook her head quickly. “Nothing. I just ... found something interesting,” he said as he glanced at Ludwig once again. It felt like he had already gotten the common thread for the thorny troubles in the Gothe family.
