CHAPTER 11. JOBSEEKING

“Oh!” reina said and began to feed her food. One thing Reina had to remember was that Varen did not like hot food. Reina smiled as she saw her husband eating voraciously. Last night Reina and Varen did not have time for dinner so it was only natural that this morning they were both starving.

After finishing breakfast, Reina tidied up the food and covered it with a rice hood. “What was there previously people living here?” ask Reina.

“Nothing. But Martin always sends people to clean this place up. Grandpa advised to keep this house clean.” replied Varen.

“Oh so huh? Deserve all the items here are well maintained.” said Reina while nodding her head. “Oh yes, I want to find a job. Today I want to go around sending a cover letter. Can it?” rania Reina's.

Varen was silent, at first glance his jaw was hardened but a second later his face was flat again.

“Terden! Because I haven't been able to give you any money.” he replied.

“No problem. I just want to help meet the needs of our household.” said Reina.

Actually Reina is not sure if Varen can get the money. Because all this time he just hung his life on Elora.

But Reina will try to trust her husband. At least Varen has good intentions to find a job and not only does the pitch not clear every day as he usually does.

After Reina was done with the work of cleaning her house, she was getting ready to find work.

Reina stepped her legs which already felt very heavy. There are several companies that he went to but no one wants to accept it.

Reina was even expelled by the security guards for disrupting order. Though Reina only wanted to ask about the job vacancy but the treatment she got was heartbreaking.

Tired, Reina decided to rest under a tree by the roadside. Reina shuffled the map she was holding, hoping that her fatigue would disappear a little. Today's weather is getting hot making his throat even more dry.

Reina wanted to buy a drink but the money she had was mediocre. He stared sadly at the blue piece of money in his hand. Because they have to print the job application file, the money runs out and only fifty thousand rupiah left.

“I have to skimp. This is the only money I have, I don't know when I can have a job.” he murmured sadly. But he was determined not to give up. Reina got up from her seat. The goal this time is to a property company called Kenz Corp which is the largest property company in Asia.

Actually Reina felt hesitant to apply for a job there, but it never hurts to try. Upon arriving in front of the company, Reina was stunned to see a tall geung in front of her. His head immediately shrunk to see how big the company was.

‘Will a company of this size accept me? An ajayaba if I am rightly accepted here.’ murmured.

With a slight hesitation, Reina walked into the company. The company security guard looked at Reina with a probing look.

“I'd like to apply for a job, sir. Where should I go?” reina asked the security guard in front of her.

The guard stared at Reina from head to toe. “You sure you want to apply for a job here?” ask the security guard with a scornful look.

Reina nodded, “Iya. Who knows if there are vacancies I can fill, sir. It's okay even though it should be a cleaning service as well.” Java Reina politely.

Reina pulled her lips up, trying to smile.

He realized his appearance was a little shabby because the clothes he was wearing were dull. Therefore, since then, all the companies he entered he was always expelled because he was considered willing to ask for donations.

“So I have to to which part sir?” ask Reina again.

“You report to reception first. He will direct you. Just go through that door, you will see the reception desk there.” he replied.

“Good, sir. Thank you.”

Reina lowered her head and entered the spacious and luxurious lobby. Reina's body felt fresh when the cold AC touched her skin, her thirst was reduced a little. Reina walked towards the reception desk and looked at the two beautiful women who were standing while smiling at her.

The scornful look from the two women back Reina got when she expressed the intent of her arrival.

“Please directly meet the HRD section on the fourth floor. Coincidentally they are holding an interview now.” said one of the receptionists while pointing towards the elevator which is located not far from where Reina stands.

Uncomfortable with the two women's gazes, Reina immediately left and walked to the front door of the elevator. There were three elevator doors in front of Reina.

One elevator door reads ‘Executive’ and the other two doors say ‘Employee’. Reina was standing in the middle of the elevator doors for employees. He would climb into the elevator first until, with a pounding heart he waited.

Ting!

There was a sound of the elevator stopping, accompanied by the sound of the door opening but Reina ignored the elevator because the elevator was special for company executives only.

“Nona will you not enter? We are in a hurry.” said a man from inside the elevator.

Reina turned her head and she was aghast when she saw the man in the elevator.”Varen.”.

Reina looked back at the man standing in the elevator. His head bowed when he realized he had misunderstood people. Reina became ashamed of herself, the man was definitely not her husband. At first glance the man was indeed very similar to Varen.

But the shape of the face and the haircut are different. Moreover, the color of the man's eyes are blue, very different from the color of Varen's eyes are black.

And the most obvious difference between the two of them was indeed the iris of his eyes. Besides, everything is exactly the same. How can two people be exactly the same? Is it true that people say that everyone has a twin? Reina was drifting in her mind somewhere.

“Not so take the elevator?” ask the man again.

Reina peeked at the two men in the elevator from behind her eyelashes. He did not dare to raise his face completely. “Sa--I took this elevator only.” replied Reina while pointing to the elevator door in front of her.

Reina couldn't have gotten into that elevator, obviously it says it's special for executives. While Reina, she is only a prospective employee who will not necessarily be accepted to work here.

“Come in! Before he swallows you alive.” the precept points towards the Varen-like man. Reina looked up at the blue-sliced man, seeing his sharp gaze Reina lowered her gaze again as she stepped into the elevator. He did not dare to refuse their offer.

Just as Reina was about to sneak behind the blue-eyed man, she first stretched back as if giving Reina a place to stand in front of him. With her heart pounding, Reina turned her back to the man.
