CHAPTER 84. TROUBLE-MAKING

“Good morning sir.” heard the voice of the woman who had been the cause of his wife's silence. Although Varen does not know what Elora told Reina, there is one thing that Varen knows that she must keep her distance from the woman. Verdi gave a small nod in response to Elora's greeting. He did not even look at the woman.

There was no line of smile in the look on his face, Verdi had a flat expression as usual. In contrast to Verdi who was upset while Elora just vibrated and challenged with Verdi's cold attitude. He also plans to talk to her while Bobby is not around at the moment.

“Pak Verdi as you know that I was Mr. Felix's former secretary for four years. So if there's anything I can help you with pleasure I will do it.” said Elora with a soft voice and a smile made as sweet as possible.

“Ehm!”

There was the sound of a female Deheman beside Verdi. He looked like it was Reina.

Verdi frowned when Reina approached him when usually Reina was most anti-adjacent to him. “Sorry Mr Verdi! I want to remind you of this morning's meeting. Is it possible we'll ride soon now?” ask Reina.

Verdi furrowed both of his brows feeling confused by his secretary's remark.

“Ya of course.” Verdi replied as he stepped towards the elevator regardless of Elora. Verdi saw the brothers fighting with a ray of hatred in the eyes of both.

Reina glared sharply at her sister as soon as she got into the elevator. Reina immediately closed the door and pressed the number fifty button.

Reina's hair bristled when she saw the reflection of Verdi's shadow looking at her sharply. He squeezed his hand firmly as the man cleared his throat saying, “remember me this morning we have no meeting? Or maybe I haven't confirmed it yet?”

Reina bowed deeply while playing her sweet ring.

His eyes closed with his lips muttering as he cursed his stupidity. He was afraid that his performance appraisal would decline due to this matter. Verdi smelled a smile at the reflection of his wife's nervous face looking very adorable. After this morning Reina nagged him at home now Reina was even downcast afraid of him.

“You deliberately used me huh?” accuse Verdi.

Reina's reflex twists her body and bends. “I'm sorry! I think Elora's mother's offer is overkill! Where can he offer such a thing when you already have a secretary and he also has his own duties.” replied Reina quickly.

One of the reasons Reina kept Elora away from Verdi was because she was afraid her boss was affected. He was afraid that his boss would listen to Elora and change his secretary. Reina was very afraid of losing her job.

For him this job is very important because he gets a high salary, he can save his money for the future.

“No need to worry. Even though there are 1000 women like Elora who apply to be my secretary, only you will I choose.” Verdi said with a teasing smile.

Verdi continued to look at his wife to see her expression and reaction. He knew that right now Reina must have misbehaved to hear his words.

Somehow Reina's heart was pounding after hearing Verdi's words. Only her husband should be able to make her misbehave this way. What is this feeling? Why did he feel this feeling towards his boss?

This is not true! But Reina was increasingly unable to control the condition of her heart that was pounding more and more.

Meanwhile in his study Bobby looked at his wife who was busy playing a cell phone. For some reason lately Elora feels indifferent to him. He rarely invited Bobby to chat and was just busy with his phone. Bobby wonders what Elora is really doing with her phone.

“Sayang...please make coffee. Soon I'm meeting scared sleepy.” pinta Bobby. Elora jumped to see Bobby who suddenly stood in front of her.

She smiled sweetly at her husband. “Good. Wait a minute yes.” he said he also saved his phone and then got up and went to the pantry room to make his husband's coffee.

‘Thank you for yesterday afternoon.’

‘Oh yes, thank you also for the gift.’

‘It turns out you still remember what I like.’

“Damn it! So they're still in touch?” bully Bobby while tightly grasping his wife's phone. Various bad thoughts were raging in his head. From the message sent by his wife Bobby is very sure that Varen is the first to disturb Elora.

“Job! I have to make a calculation with that distraction!” objurgation.

Before Elora arrives, Bobby keeps Elora's phone back. Shortly afterwards Elora came in with a cup of coffee in her hand. “Thank you dear.” said Bobby.

He returned to his work room for a meeting. After Bobby leaves Elora re-opens her phone. He checked the message he sent to Varen.

Elora accidentally sends a message inviting misunderstanding to make Reina jealous. Elora wanted to avenge Reina who had kept her away from Verdi this morning.

Meanwhile, in the CEO's room, Verdi and Reina were busy checking financial statements when a message entered Verdi's phone.

He read the message at a glance and when he saw a message from Elora that had nothing to do with Verdi even thought Elora was wrong to send a message. He also ignored her.

“Reina...try to find a report from the financial section two days ago.” pinta Verdi.

Reina immediately gave the report that Verdi had requested. “This is the report Sir.”

Verdi took the map from Reina then read it. His forehead wrinkled when he saw the number of numbers that did not match his calculation.

“Reina....have you checked this? Why is this number different from previous reports?” verdi asked showing the problematic column. Reina immediately got up and stood next to Verdi.

Reina looked at the column of numbers that Verdi meant carefully. “For this total plus the number of goods that...”.

Due to their close distance, Verdi did not focus on what his wife described. He instead focused on his wife's face that looked serious when explaining. Verdi's gaze turned on Reina's lips who kept talking while occasionally smiling.

Reina's lips reminded Verdi of their kiss when Reina was sick. A hot and exciting kiss. Feeling like Verdi wanted to repeat it, he wanted to pull Reina's hand to sit on her lap and then***** her lips.

“How about sir?” tanya Reina broke Verdi's daydream.

“Manic. I like.” replied Verdi origin.

Reina frowns, “What's sweet sir?”

“You! Uh! I mean.This report makes me sleepy. Please make sweet tea.” errat Verdi gelagapan.

“Good sir.” Reina nodded then went out of her boss room.

Verdi heaved a sigh of relief as his fascination with Reina made her mispronounce. He was almost caught admiring Reina's face. Verdi glanced at the clock that still showed three o'clock.

“Why is time slow? I want to go home soon.”

While in the pantry room, Reina grumbled,

“Basic boss sucks! He could have looked at the wife of such a man. Want something sweet? Okay I love you sweet!”
