CHAPTER OF DOUBT

Reina realized that Verdi had noticed himself, Actually Reina wanted to reprimand but was afraid her boss was offended and was instead suspected of accusing her.

“Teh sweetest is ready! We see how he reacts when drinking this sweet tea.” said Reina while smiling. He's got sweet tea on the tray. Reina enters the CEO's room and sees Felix in it.

“This is the tea sir.” said Reina while putting the cup in front of Verdi. Just as he was putting the cup on the table, Felix took Verdi's tea.

“For me only.” he said directly take the cup. Reina was about to ban but it was too late.

BYUR!!

Felix spouts the tea he drinks. “Asiiinnn!” his screeches.

Because of that incident Reina had to lie by saying that she was wrong to mix sugar which turned out to be salt. Verdi also noted two negative things from him, forgetful and bored. Forgetting to remember the wrong schedule and considered boredom because it can not distinguish sugar and salt.

Reina is not that kind of woman. She is the type of woman who is meticulous and careful in every way.

“Sorry sir. Again I am sorry. Let me make a new one.” said Reina excited especially when she saw Verdi looking at her sharply. Reina is getting anxious and frightened if this will make her lose her job.

When the clock was showing at 04.30 pm, Reina also immediately tidied up her belongings and prepared to go home when the working hours were over. Unwilling to be in the elevator with Verdi and Felix, he rushes to the elevator with wide steps.

It was true that the two men came out just as he got into the elevator. Due to their distance, Reina pretended not to see and immediately pressed the button to close the elevator door.

“Wait!”

Reina was wide-eyed as Felix lightning-fast ran towards her then held back the door that was almost closed.

“We went down together.” Felix said as he chuckled his teeth and allowed Verdi to enter the elevator.

“Support only my fast run. So we can go down together.” said Felix proudly.

Verdi stood right beside Reina with lips pouting a smile as he looked at his wife's visibly irritated expression. Without saying anything Reina pressed the button towards the lobby. In his heart Reina cursed Felix who managed to chase after him. Unlike Verdi and Felix who like to be in an elevator with him but Reina instead.

He feels uncomfortable in a closed room with Verdi and Felix. Moreover, Reina felt Verdi from earlier paying attention to her. It felt like Reina wanted to get out of that iron box immediately.

Ting!

As soon as the door opened Reina hurriedly stepped out quickly.

“I go home first.” said Reina while bending her body. Regardless of Verdi and Felix. Reina hurried away leaving the two of them staring at her in surprise.

“Reina!”

Reina stopped when she heard someone calling her name. He looked over and it was Elora who called out to him.

“What's up, hem?” ketus Reina asked.

Elora smiled kindly to show the image in front of her co-workers who passed by lobbied. “I want to leave this for Varen.” Elora said with a smile.

Reina's hands clenched when she saw the package that Elora had given her.

“Please give it to your husband and thank me for him.” Elora smiled widely and left Reina who was burning with jealous flames.

Reina stared at the small paper bag beside her seat. It felt like he was throwing away that thing but no…..Varen has to accept it and explain everything.

“Men everywhere are the same! Fuck all!” furious Reina while clenching her hands. "Just look at Varen! I'll punish you!"

Tanta frowned at the anger on his employer's wife's face. He wanted to ask but his guts shrunk when he heard the word ‘mria’ that Reina said. He also prefers to keep quiet and drive his taxi. Tanta does not want his status as a man to be an outlet for his mistress' rampage. Even the coldness of the car AC can not eliminate the heat caused by the anger of his employer.

“Stop here bu?” ask Tanta carefully when he gets to the intersection where he used to drop off his employer's wife.

“Iya sir. Thank you yes.” said Reina Ketus. He grabbed a paper bag next to him. Seeing his wife coming Varen rushed up to him and opened the car door.

He frowned when he saw the grim face of his wife. “There's what Rei----”

BUGS!

Suddenly someone pulled Varen's collar and threw a fist at his face.

“Bobby! What the fuck?” peeking Reina when she saw the person who hit her was Bobby.

With a furious Reina was directly protecting Varen's body behind his body. Tanta got out of the car immediately but he's still keeping an eye on things.

“Why did you suddenly hit my husband?” ask Reina again.

Bobby snorted feeling pity and annoyed at Reina who defended her husband.

“Just ask your husband what he's done with Elora behind us. Reina....your husband and Elora are still in touch!” Bobby pointed at Varen's face furiously.

“Do not accuse carelessly!” shake the Varen quickly. He didn't want his wife to go back and get angry with him.

Reina was angry for three days and made her feel like she was living in hell. Varen doesn't want to feel it anymore. Varen pulls Reina's body back, he doesn't want his wife to get hit like last time.

“On what basis do you accuse me like that?” ask Varen. Although her heart was still in tears, she was worried that Reina was being lured.

But Varen is still trying to be calm.

“I know you guys text a lot. I read it myself!” bobby answered confidently.

Reina growled and tried to let go of Varen's hand but firmly held back her hand. He did not want to let go of Reina's hand.

Varen coded Reina to stand behind him. With one of his hands free, Varen grabbed the phone in his jacket pocket. Then extend his phone to Bobby. “Prove it yourself! Whether your allegations are true or not.” he said without hesitation.

Bobby grabs Varen's phone violently. He was looking for Varen's message with his wife and he was a little taken aback by the contents of the message on Varen's phone. On Elora's phone, all of their previous conversations were deleted, but they were different from Varen's.

Varen still keeps all the messages of himself and Elora. Even the previous messages when they were husband and wife were still there.

The average message that goes into Varen's phone is the message that Elora sends. Varen only sent a few messages and even that was only a short reply.

‘Good.’

‘It's okay.’

‘Do it.’
