CHAPTER 51. EVADES ONE ANOTHER

Varen loved moments like this, he could sit for a long time with his grandmother even though there was no conversation. Although the time was wasted just to be quiet, Varen did not regret it.

“Tamuku will come soon.” said Samara while putting her empty cup. Even the water in the teapot has run aground . Varen glanced at his watch, did not feel the time passed quickly and had shown that he had been an hour more sitting with his grandmother.

Varen then got up and hugged his grandmother and said, “Varen left for the office first yes nek.”

Samara just patted her grandson's back without saying a word. Varen takes off her embrace and leaves her grandmother's house.

“Varen, be careful on the road do not get too tired to work.” said Samara staring at the back of her grandson who had gone away. His eyes were sad, he actually missed his grandson as well.

Not long after Martin Osahar arrived at the Samara residence. As usual Ezra would welcome his mistress' guests and take her to the side garden where Samara Bimantya was.

“Sit.” said Samara pointing at the empty seat in front of her.

Martin sat opposite Samara. “How's mama doing?” martin Osahar asked the former father-in-law.

Samara snorted to hear Martin still calling him mama when Martin had long divorced from his daughter. “I don't have time for stale bases. How many total Varen thutang should I replace?” tanyakanya.

“Varen no--”

“Tell me! I'll change everything. How much the total expenditure is the other day.” said Samara firmly. He didn't want his grandson to owe anyone anything.

“Ahhhh I am free, today Mr. Verdi does not come to the office. Hopefully until the afternoon he entered the office.” Reina told Varen who was on the other end of the phone.

“But Felix gives you a lot of work right?” ask Varen.

“It's okay. Better a lot of important work Mr. Verdi did not enter the office today.” said Reina smiled happily because indeed he said the truth.

“My stomach is hungry.”

“I order food yes.” said Varen.

“No need. I'm asking you OB to buy me a snack later. Have you had lunch yet?” reina quickly refused.

“I've ordered a snack for you. Have OB pick it up at the reception. I ate for a while.” said Varen again with a smile. ‘Ehmmm it turns out you are happy if I do not enter the office huh?’ he murmured in the heart.

“Seriously? Have you ordered?” ask Reina again.

“Iya. Twenty minutes until. I have a little busy today. See you later tonight.” Varen decided on the call. He stared at the pile of maps in front of him. There were a lot of documents to study but Varen couldn't do it in the office.

He did not want to ruin the happiness of Reina who was happy because of Verdi's absence in the office. Thirty minutes ago, Varen arrived in front of his office building but Reina sent a message saying she was happy that her boss was not in the office. Finally Varen changed his mind and went to the restaurant next to his office building and asked Tanta to bring all his work there.

Seeing Reina's smile it felt like Vare wanted to return to the office, he wanted to see his wife's smile directly but he was afraid that Reina's smile would disappear if he saw her. Finally, Varen also busied himself and hoped that time passed quickly.

“Wah! You really brought all your work here! Ckckck you've been watching your wife ever since. Why don't you just meet him?”

Felix was astonished by the attitude of Varen and Reina. His cousin was like avoiding Reina and Reina as if he did not want to meet with Varen. Felix still remembers Reina's cheers when he found out that Verdi didn't get into the office today.

“Actually what happened to you guys? Why are you avoiding each other like this anyway?”

Varen put the map in his hand on the table and looked at his cousin. “I don't avoid it, I just want to maintain its happiness. He's happy that I'm not in the office.”

Felix snorted with a smile and spread his gaze to the deserted tables inside the restaurant. He frowned at the sign ‘Closed’ was installed even though this was lunch time.

It's crazy that his cousin maintains his wife's happiness. He took everyone out of the restaurant and forced the owner to close. “You are indeed amazing to play the role of rich and poor at the same time. How's it feel?” cibir Felix's.

“I just took the chance. After all, grandma doesn't forbid me from using my money during work hours, right? So why not?” answer Varen while opening another map.

“That's what I surprised my grandmother's attitude. He's torturing you but he's spoiling you too. I don't think grandma really wants to see you miserable. He is just bluffing.” Felix said while scratching his non-itchy nape.

Varen was stunned to hear his cousin's words, appearing several wrinkles on his forehead. Is that really what his cousin said? Why did her grandmother do all this? Questions came up on Varen. But when he remembers his grandmother who really made him poor after work, Varen immediately denies Felix's statement.

In the past, when Samara first confiscated all her belongings she asked Tanta to ransack her pocket. Just in case if Varen's there tucking in the money. Varen could only sigh deeply, his grandmother's attitude always confused him. From her childhood until now Varen doesn't really know how her grandmother feels.

Does your grandmother love you or does she hate you? Everything is not understood by Varen. She also had no idea why her grandmother's hatred was so great for her mother's family. Her grandmother always blamed her mother for her father's death. Until now Varen did not know the truth.

Meanwhile time goes by quickly. It doesn't feel like four o'clock past thirty-five minutes. Soon she will be home and see her husband. Today Reina was really happy because Verdi had not come to the office all day.

“Talk to Mr. Verdi, I want to see him.”

Reina jumped in shock at the sound of Elora's sniffling. “Pak Verdi is not in the room. He didn't go to work today. Just come back tomorrow if you want to see him, maybe tomorrow he has entered work again.” replied Reina calmly.

Elora frowning, “Not coming to work? Don't lie to you, Reina! Mr. Verdi called Bobby this morning and asked for the paperwork to be completed this afternoon. I have to hand it over immediately.”

“Really? But Mr. Verdi is not ma--”

“Cute to my room!”
