CHAPTER 65. MISUNDERSTAND

Varen glanced at the wall clock that had shown at eight p.m. He looked at Reina's eyes that had started to get sleepy. “Reina must rest now.” said Varen without hesitation.

Not afraid that his words would offend his guests. Felix was aware of the subtle innuendo of his cousin, he got up and said goodbye.

“Then we go home. Hope you get well soon Reina.”

Reina smiled stiffly as she felt unwell with her husband's subtle innuendo. “Thank you for coming to visit.” said Reina trying to smile.

“You better get well soon! Pity Mr. Verdi if you have to work alone.”, said Elora.

As Felix and Varen looked around, Reina caught a glimpse of her husband and said. “Pak Verdi will be fine. You do not need to worry about my boss.” said Reina did not lose.

Elora snorted and walked away from Reina. Felix and Varen followed behind him while Bobby stood up to Reina.

“Say whose child it is? Is he my son?” ask Bobby in a soft voice.

Reina scrunched her forehead not understanding what the man meant. “Whose son what? What are you talking about?” said Reina who stared intently at Bobby while grunting annoyed.

“Child in---”

“I told you Reina had to rest!” varen said, cutting off Bobby's conversation, and then he stood up straight with Reina and Bobby. “If there is anything else you want to talk about please just talk to me as her husband Reina!”

Bobby snorted angrily and saw Varen's attitude like that made him even more sure if the child in Reina's womb was his. “Do not feel proud. I will seize whatever is supposed to be mine.” Bobby said then he left following his wife.

BLAM!

The sound of the front door closing violently.

Varen looked at Reina sharply, “What are you guys talking about? Why are you guys whispering like that?” asked Varen with a flat face full of annoyance.

Reina also snorted and looked up at her husband with no less tightly said, “I should have asked you. What did you talk to Elora about? Why are you close to him?”

Reina and Varen looked at each other intently and the look on their faces looked irritated. “You should keep your distance from your ex-wife/ex-husband.”.

For a moment they both fell silent and looked at each other. Varen let out a rough breath as she felt uncomfortable with Bobby's gaze on Reina.

His heart was upset to see Bobby who always stole a glance at his wife. Varen sat down next to Reina. “I don't like seeing Bobby's eyes look at you. He often steals eyes on you and it is very inappropriate.”, said Varen.

“I don't like to see you close to Elora.” Reina responded quickly. His sleepiness had already disappeared from being annoyed.

They looked at each other with sharp eyes. Staring into the beads of each eye. “You're jealous?” ask them together. Then a snort found them asking the same question.

“Reina/Varen...” they back together.

I don't know who started but slowly the distance between them began to thin and Reina put her hand to Varen's neck while Varen raised Reina's body on her lap.

Their lip games create pleasant authentic voices, both of which seem to enjoy a lot. Varen took a strong sip on Reina's lower lip, making Reina groan and squeezing Varen's hair violently. Varen distanced his face and looked at his wife's wet and swollen lower lip.

“Do we have to wait forty-seven more days?” asked Varen in a loud voice. The look in his eyes revealed a desire and hope to be able to enjoy their union. Reina smiled with her breath out loud and she brought her face closer and kissed her husband's lips and cheeks.

“Our agreement will never change. You must be strong and patient waiting.” replied Reina while leaning her head on Varen's boat.

Varen's facial expression hardened then he tightened his embrace and said. “I can't take it anymore. Too long waiting, I'm not sure I can last this long.”

Two days passed and Reina's condition had already gradually recovered. For three days he took a complete rest, boring her. This morning he asked Varen for permission to enter the office but Varen instead forbade him.

“I'm bored of Varen. Moreover, you often go, I always feel confused at home do not know what to do.” said Reina when Varen asked him to stay at home for a few more days.

One thing Reina only knew when she was sick and kept at home, all her husband's activities during the day. During these two days after Reina's fever subsided, Varen went out of the house in the morning and returned in the afternoon until lunch ended. After that he left again and only came home by late afternoon.

“Aday again Reina. You have to rest for one more day to fully recover. Tomorrow you can enter the office again.” said Varen firmly. Reina flicked her lips in annoyance with the look on her sour face.

He is really bored but Varen forbids him from working. Even cooking and cleaning the house should not all be prohibited by Varen. Reina was only asked to sit down and sleep which was why she felt so bored.

“I can die of boredom like this, Varen." said Reina as she went out of the room and walked towards the dining room. “Stree know at home continue like this!” nagging him while opening the hood of saji.

It appears that the food brought by his mother has been presented with warm tea. Sometimes Reina is confused, she says Varen doesn't cook, but why is she so good at warming food?

Seeing Varen standing before him, Reina sat down without saying anything. Even when she put rice for her husband, Reina remained silent. Reina's attitude made Varen uncomfortable.

If his grandmother did not keep calling and threatened to cut his salary, Varen would have preferred to work at home and accompany Reina.

But Varen does not want his salary cut anyway he already intends to buy Reina a wedding ring when she receives her salary next month. Varen held his wife's hand and said, “After breakfast we take a walk to the park.” he did not have the heart to see his wife who was bored alone at home, he said, especially when he had to go to the office then Reina was alone at home.

Reina immediately smiled, hearing the words of the streets that made her excited. “We don't go outside again today?” reina asked, then silent because of the wrong behavior while chewing her food quickly.

Varen frowned, he only realized that for two days his wife had never asked about his disappearance. “You're not curious about what I've been doing out of the house all this time?”

“Hah?” Reina looked up then smiled clumsily. “What do you do?” reina asked with a focused look in her husband's eyes. Varen's chest immediately shook, convincing him to tell Reina the truth about her.

“Reina all this time I--”

Reina's phone shook and she hurriedly picked up her phone without seeing who the person who contacted her was. “Halo?”
