CHAPTER 44. THINGS FLOWERS AND CHOCOLATES

Finally Felix got a clue what was going on in his cousin. With a smile he replied, “Definitely happy. No woman would refuse! What's the matter anyway?” felix asked, frowning.

“So morning Reina was angry and I was confused how to defuse her anger.” Verdi replied.

“You are confused because Reina is angry? Not wrong?” Felix raised one eyebrow and the tip of his lips raised to see the look of Verdi's face that looked indecisive. He felt funny because this was the first time he had seen Verdi acting like that.

“Yes. He ignored me. I feel uncomfortable.” replied Verdi.

“Do you love her?” ask Felix.

“I don't know what love is but I'm just worried because Reina has never behaved like this before.” Verdi said.

Felix smiled broadly, “What you feel is part of love. You are in love! But you haven't noticed it yet! If you don't have any feelings for Reina, even if she ignores you, it won't affect you like this.” Felix smiled.

“Do not fabricate! You know very well what I'm going through and what I'm like. There's no way I'm in love with her. Like I said, I'm just worried! It feels uncomfortable he silences me and is indifferent to me.” Verdi said with eyes glaring.

“What can I help you with? What do you want to do then?” asked Felix sighing.

“Buy flowers and chocolates as much and send them to my house. Aim for Reina and choose the nicest flowers!” verdi

“For Reina?” ask Felix again to make sure his hearing is not wrong. But when he saw Varen nodding his head in response, Felix grew confused. What happened to his cousin? Why would you suddenly want to give Reina flowers and chocolates if she's not in love, isn't she? Usually people in love do that.

There was a knock on the door.

“Ya login!” sahut Verdi's.

The door opened and Reina entered with a chocolate bar and a bunch of flowers. He walked straight to Verdi's desk. The two men looked at Reina with curious faces.

“Pak Verdi! This is the chocolate you asked for” Reina gave a chocolate bar smaller than Kaifan gave her. “This is my new chocolate. It's not good to eat a lot of chocolate, sir. Later you can have a toothache, sugar pain! Anyway danger sir.” said Reina without feeling guilty.

“Pfffff.” Felix shut his mouth holding back a laugh.

“I do not want this chocolate is not the same as your chocolate earlier.” said Verdi did not want to give up.

“I only want to eat the chocolate Kaifan gave you earlier!” Verdi turned his face away.

While Reina cursed Verdi in her heart because she was forced to spend money to buy a chocolate bar that was expensive.

Reina glanced at Felix glaring a pitiful gaze and asked for help.

“Already, just give it if he wants that chocolate.” Felix said.

Reina is increasingly confused and annoyed by her boss' childish attitude. “Sorry Mr. Verdi, I cannot give you chocolate from Mr. Kaifan because I have returned it. That's why I bought these chocolates and flowers for dad.”

“Why did you return it? Don't you like flowers and chocolates?” Verdi looked up at Reina while frowning.

“Yes, how about sir? I have no reason to receive goods from Mr. Kaifan. After all, I am married and have a husband, how can I accept the gift of another man? I also don't like to eat coklar because I don't want to have diabetes eating too much chocolate. Do I have to ask him back from Mr Kaifan?” reina said with annoyance.

“Where do I put the flowers?” reina asked as she lifted the flower in her hand. In his heart he was upset. Money is mediocre but you have to buy flowers and chocolates.

Reina took a vase and began arranging the flowers in a vase and placed them at the end of Verdi's desk. Without her, Verdi smiled as he looked at Reina who focused on arranging the flowers.

“Already sir. Is there anything else you need? My profile is here.” asked Reina.

“Nothing. You can go back to your room.” Verdi replied.

“Good. Excuse me first sir.” Reina bowed a little then turned around and left. But….

“Reina. The chocolate is for you.” he said then gave the chocolate in his hand to Reina.

“No need sir. That's for gaffer only.” replied Reina.

“Why? You don't want the chocolate? Small chocolate is?” verdi asked confusedly.

“Fuuuuhh! I bought the chocolate for my father and it is not good to refuse the fortune. I can't take back what I gave to my father. Excuse me sir.”

With a feeling of annoyance and anger Reina walked out of the room. ‘Why the hell are all men annoying? Not Varen! Not Verdi? The fucking Kaifan? Huh!’ it's in the heart.

The sound of Felix's laughter broke the silence of the room. Now he knew why his cousin had been so frenetic since.

“Ha ha ha ha ha ……..Do I still have to buy as many flowers and chocolates as I can for Reina? He's afraid of diabetes! Ha ha ha ha ha!”

“Forget it! Go, you make me dizzy.” Verdi replied with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile in the workspace Reina seemed to focus on doing work. Today he was assigned to redo all of the company's soft data. He was not even invited to a meeting so that his work was quickly completed, he glanced at the small clock on his desk already showed at three. While his work was still piling up, he stopped the finger movements on the computer keyboard.

Stretching his tired hands and back. He resumed his work without realizing someone opened the door and stared intently at him.

“You! Why are you here?” the voice of the old woman surprised Reina who was focused on her work. Reina looked up, her eyes rounded as she looked at the old woman who was already standing in front of her desk.

“Mrs.” says Reina tries to be calm and polite.

“Cute me!” samara said as she passed from Reina's hadpaan and went to Verdi's room.

Reina stood up and followed the old woman with a feeling of unease. He was afraid that the woman would scold him and treat him like the other day.

But considering that the old woman is the owner of the company where she works, Reina was forced to follow her into Verdi's room. She timidly looked at the old woman who was already sitting on the sofa with a sharp look at her.

“Sit!” he said, pointing at the empty sofa in front of him with his wooden stick.

Samara stared fixedly at the woman her grandson married. He noticed Reina's movements and her appearance from top to bottom without missing a single bit. Getting a hostile look from the old woman made Reina even more anxious. He sat down nervously and in fear.

“How much money do you want to get out of my grandson's life? Just say! I'll give you whatever you ask.” said Samara firmly.

Reina was flabbergasted at the old woman's statement. He did not understand what Samara said that made Reina look confused. Why did he have to leave his boss' life behind? But he was there just to work and had nothing to do with his personal life? Did this old lady misunderstand him?

“I'm sorry, Madam. What do you mean that I will be fired and given a severance? Is that what madam meant?” reina asked with a puzzled expression.

He immediately interpreted Samara's words with his work, maybe the woman was dissatisfied with Reina's work so far, so he thought.
