CHAPTER 57. MISCONCEPTIONS

Reina wiped away the tears that had soaked her cheeks. He hid his face when he heard the sound of the door closing and the sound of footsteps approaching. Varen's expression hardened as he saw his wife crying.

“Do women have excess tear stock? Why do you always cry because of trivial things?” varen asked with an annoyed tone of voice.

Reina looked at her husband sharply. “It's trivial for you but a big thing for me.”

Varen snorted, Women are indeed the most complicated and difficult to understand creatures. Not his grandmother, not his wife all the same in Varen's eyes. Even her aunt was not much different from the others.

“See this! I left a note for you on the nightstand. I also sent the same message to your phone.” Varen held out a piece of paper and his cell phone to Reina.

Reina took the two objects and immediately smiled after reading the message for her.

‘I went to buy porridge and medicine. Do not get out of bed.’

“Sorry! I didn't read your message.” said Reina shyly. It felt like he was looking for a hole and hiding because he felt so embarrassed. She accused her husband for no reason.

“I'm not going quietly! Never cry because of trivial things! That's not a good thing to do!” varen said, sitting next to his wife. She wiped the tears on Reina's cheek.

“Sorry...”.

Varen fell silent and picked up the bowl of porridge from the table. “Eat then you take medicine and rest. You must be healthy immediately so that your mind is clear again.”

Reina gave a small laugh and then opened her mouth even though her stomach was nauseous but she forced herself to swallow the porridge that her husband fed.

After the porridge in the bowl ran aground, Reina downed two drops of the medicine Varen gave her. The medicine tasted bitter in the mouth, and Varen offered the sweet tea to reduce the bitter taste in Reina's mouth.

“Wait a minute!” said Varen then moved to bring a tray containing a bowl and cup of kitchen. Reina looked at Varen's back wryly then glanced at her husband's phone hesitantly she opened the phone.

She remembered the threat of her brother and Reina's eyes were rounded when she saw the photo that Elora had sent to Varen. His heart seemed to stop beating, a tremendous fear emerged.

“Isn't it rude to open someone else's phone without permission?” Varen immediately snatched his phone from Reina's hands. He looked towards Reina with furrowed brows.

“Fo-photo that! y--have you seen it?” asked Reina stammeredly. She was afraid that her husband would misunderstand and there was a fight between them.

Varen. Reina grabs Varen's hand and stands up, “Va-varen. I swear there's nothing to do with Mr. Kaifan. I---”

Reina's body is limp but Varen soon catches her. “Sit!”

“Varen! I can explain everything. i---I-I..no!” Reina spoke stammered wanting to explain.

“Felix told me everything. There's nothing you need to explain anymore. I trust you.” cut off Varen while helping Reina to sit down and sit next to Reina.

Reina looked at her husband's face fixedly, “Ka--you're not angry?” tanyakanya.

“Of course I'm angry. I will definitely make a calculation with Kaifan!” varen replied with a hardened facial expression.

“Varen, forgive me.” said Reina in a soft voice.

“Reina...I am sorry! Maybe you'll be angry at what you're going to do. Me and Verdi are...”.

Reina pulled on Varen's face and fused her lips together. A startled Varen tries to get away but Reina presses on his nape and deepens his kiss. Varen tries to control herself not to reciprocate the sensual movements of Reina's lips that tease her.

Reina loosened the braid of her hand on the nape of Varen and then released her pagutan.

“It is not good to mention the name of another man when the misunderstanding between us just finished.” he said. Reina looked at Varen right where her eyes were.

Reina's breath gasped and said, “Just as when you were secretly, I don't like you mentioning the man's name either. I don't like it, Varen! So do not talk about the man in front of me.” said Reina brought her face closer and put her lips together again. He sipped and*******varen lips.

When Varen's lips opened slightly, Reina immediately sucked her tongue and teased her husband. Getting a series of attacks that made the defense Varen finally collapsed.

Without letting go of their pawns, Varen raised Reina's body and sat her on her lap. “Make yourself comfortable above me dear.”

Varen brought his face closer to avenging Reina's every game with a shrewd and demanding game. Cradling Reina in an intoxicating tongue game and when oxygen demands strike they release pagutan and scoop up as much oxygen as possible.

“It looks like your pain is contagious. I can't be clear-minded either.” said Varen.

He kissed Reina's lips at a glance and stretched out his hand to touch Reina's wet lips which were swollen from her actions. Reina looked down with a face reddened with fever and embarrassment.

Varen gave a smile, he was happy to see a red hue adorning his wife's face. Varen touching Reina's chin made her look up to look at him.

The look of their eyes met and Varen's black bead was drowned in his wife's brown bead. “Do you feel better now? Not angry anymore?”

Reina hugged Varen hiding her face in her husband's field chest. “Can we not discuss it anymore? Sorry in advance because I was mad at you.” said Reina.

“I always get scared every waking up but don't find you. I felt like I was left alone in a foreign place! I'm afraid of being alone and I don't like that feeling.” Reina said.

“This house is not a foreign place Reina! But our house. You don't have to be afraid because you'll never be alone again. I will always be with you and we will age together.”

Varen stroked Reina's hair while returning her embrace with one hand.

Reina smiles at Varen's words that make her imagine herself and Varen aging together to make her mood better. “Stay your promise Varen. Never leave me.”

“Sure darling. I will keep my promise.” timpal Varen while peaking Reina's head.

Varen was serious about the promise he made. Unlike his previous marriage with Elora based on inheritance but this time Varen is determined to live his household with Reina based on love and loyalty. Varen wants to live with Reina and age with her.

Elora stared at the streets with sparkling eyes. His face was bright from the moment he woke up and he kept smiling happily. It caught the attention of her husband who was driving the car next to her.

“Darling...you this why the hell? It looks so happy?” asked Bobby to take a quick glance at his wife.
