CHAPTER 37. SPICY INNUENDO

“Mending is insane than having no morals! It's sane if you don't have morals, messing with other people's households! Take people's husbands! Proud of his achievements! If there is a special award for the actor yes I will give to someone who I think is the greatest actor in human history! Be sane, have no morals, have no shame and no brains! Complete package!” Reina spoke while laughing.

“Reina! What do you mean talk like that?” shouted Elora who felt insinuated by the words of her sister. He knew for sure what Reina meant was him. “Do not talk carelessly yes you!”

“Those who feel the actor or traitor must be offended! You are a actor huh?” Reina pointed at Elora with her index finger while laughing out loud.

Seeing his wife laughing looks adorable makes Varen also unable to hold a smile. The flat face that is usually shown now brings a smile that makes him more handsome. Just sober the women melted including Elora who recently saw Varen smile.

“Don't smile! You want to flirt with the lady here? Want to follow as a player like onohhh?” Reina spoke by glaring at her husband.

Instead of stopping smiling, Varen laughed. Laughter that nobody ever showed except Felix and Samara. The two men happened to see how Varen was bullied, while Samara saw how her grandson was humiliated in the first place and how Reina handled the situation.

“Ssttt.....stop laughing! If you want to laugh wait until home!” whispered annoyed.

 Reina immediately dragged Varen to leave there regardless of the compliments people made.

Reina did not look at Bobby and Elora who humiliated Varen, she did not want the two traitors to make a bigger fuss that would harm her and Varen.

“Basic is not polite!” elora was upset with the two who left without saying a word. In her heart, Elora was amazed to see the smile and laughter of Varen that she had never seen. The man's good looks are levelling up now.

Unlike Elora who is upset and angry, Bobby feels jealous to see how Reina holds Varen's hand and takes her away. Reina had never been that possessive of her. Reina tends to be indifferent and rarely shows her feelings of love.

‘Sial! Goddamn bum! Aarrggggg.....why now Reina changed?’ whispered Bobby's heart.

The employees who had been huddling began to disperse because the working hours were over. From the incident there was one person who felt happy because he had a chance to get Reina.

'Ah, my face is also handsome and I have a good job. I'm better than her husband, just have to seduce Reina to leave her husband.’ Kaifan said in her heart.

Seeing the crowd of employees had dispersed, Felix immediately left the office. Her lips did not stop smiling considering her laughing cousin. He knows his cousin well and sees Varen treating Reina differently.

‘He fell in love with that woman. I'm pretty sure she's in love! He never acted like that to anyone all this time.’ murmured his car drove away from the place.

Samara, who had noticed the incident from the beginning, left the building. Actually he did want to follow Varen since then but he saw the incident earlier and was quite surprised by Reina's attitude against her brother in order to defend her granddaughter. He asked the driver to take a taxi with Varen and Reina.

“Ezra! Find information about Hasena family as soon as possible!” samara orders the driver and his personal assistant.

“Good Mistress!”

Reina comforted her husband for seeing Varen's sour facial expression, thinking that maybe Varen was holding back her frustration and hiding her sadness from being humiliated by Elora and Bobby earlier.

“Varen, no need to think about the words Elora and Bobby. They're a lot of nonsense and don't know anything about us.”

Reina looked up at Varen's still flat face, she kept comforting him. “We don't need to listen to other people's opinions about us. I have no problem with your status. Even if you work or are unemployed, you are still my husband! I know how hard it is to find a job, now I have a good job with a high salary. My salary is enough for both of us. When I have enough money then I will just open a business so you have your own job.”

Varen was stunned to hear his wife's words. He didn't know whether to cry or laugh. He was confused by his current state of being far different from his thoughts. Shouldn't he be the one to comfort Reina? Not the other way around? Varen doesn't care what Elora and Bobby say.

Reina said things that were astonishing and funny, Reina even wanted to work to raise money for business capital for her to have her own job. Though all of it is Varen's responsibility to make Reina's life comfortable and not lacking but the woman did not mind it.

Varen wondered what good he had done to get a wife as good and sincere as Reina. His wife even thanked him for always waiting for him and promised not to leave him. Though it is his duty as a husband to always be loyal and protect him.

Varen let go of Reina's embrace and said, “I'm fine. No need to worry about me.” Varen touches the wound Reina is trying to cover with makeup. “Is this still hurting? Who did this to you? What Elora?” tanyakanya.

Even though she already knew that her grandmother had slapped Reina in the office. Yet he still had to pretend and not reveal his identity now,

“Does my cheek look swollen? Though I have covered with makeup so as not to look.” said Reina fingered her cheek. She had deliberately gone to the toilet to cover the bruises on her cheeks so as not to be caught with Varen.

She did not want her husband to worry and asked her to stop working while she liked this job because of the high salary she received.

But it seems like everything is useless because Varen knows it. She could see her cheeks were swollen and bruised even though it was already covered in makeup. “Pak stop by the pharmacy for a while yes.” Varen told Tanta.

“Good sir.”

“Why go to pharmacies?” asked Reina frowning.

“Buy medicine! Buying some bread! Your wounds must be treated so that the swelling quickly disappears.” replied Varen.

“I'm fine. Just a little pain later enough ice compresses the swelling is also gone.”

Reina felt filled with Varen's attention to her. Actually he wanted to tell me what he was going through in the office today but he was afraid that Varen would misunderstand him.
