CHAPTER 28. JEALOUS

Verdi turned his head and said, “Do you want to stay here?”

Reina furrowed her brows and thought then turned her face looking straight ahead. “The views here are great. I prefer a house to an apartment. I am more comfortable living in a small house that has a large page.like my current home.”

Reina was seen smiling happily as she imagined the house she was occupying now. He thought that if one day he had enough money, maybe he could renovate the parts of the house that were somewhat damaged. He liked the old house, with its spacious courtyard.

“So you don't want to stay here?” verdi asked as he looked at his wife's face.

Reina again knitted her eyebrows together and smiled, “If my husband wants to stay here I want to too. Although I feel more comfortable living at home but I will go wherever my husband.”

Verdi chuckles, “So you refuse and stick with your little house?”

Reina glanced at Verdi while squinting her eyes which were exposed to the wind.

“Actually it is not a matter of his house but the people who live in it. I want to go wherever my husband goes. Whether it's an apartment or a house as long as I'm with him I don't mind.”

Verdi smiled widely, a charming smile that could melt the hearts of many women except Reina. According to Reina if Varen's smile is much sweeter and more charming compared to the smile of a man with blue iron in front of him.

Without them realizing Felix and Bobby are watching them both. Bobby who saw the closeness of the two felt jealous and disliked.

He didn't like to see the smile on his ex-wife's face.

“They are compatible once, right?” said Felix to fire Bobby.

“Reina already has a husband! He shouldn't have to beat up with another man like that! Not well seen others can cause slander!” said Bobby who was burning with emotion and jealousy.

Felix only smiled thinly while scratching his head that was not itchy. “Let's check other units.”

Although Bobby is reluctant to follow Felix because he is curious to see Reina, he finally nods and leaves with Felix to leave Verdi and Reina.

It doesn't feel like two hours have passed. Monitoring of the project was completed because the clock had shown at five in the afternoon they decided to stop at the restaurant before returning home.

Reina stared at the food menu in front of her, because she was not used to eating at the restaurant she felt confused about what to choose.

“Reina want what message?” ask Felix.

“Although I was confused. I'll come with you guys.” he replied.

Felix laughed at Reina's reply while Bobby smiled scornfully, he felt annoyed at Reina's attitude which he thought was a bit of a bitch.

“To Reina just order rib soup with honey-baked fish only and fresh orange juice. If I am sambal matah chicken and lemon tea.” Verdi mentioned his order for her and Reina. A few weeks of living with one roof he found out his wife's favorite food, Reina likes soup and grilled fish.

Seeing Verdi's attention to Reina makes Bobby's heart hotter, he doesn't like to see his ex-wife being noticed by other men.

“Pak, I'm sorry if you want to go to the toilet for a while.” Reina told Verdi who replied with a nod. Reina left the three men. Moments later Bobby left for the same reason.

Bobby went to the toilet but instead of going to the men's room, he stood in front of the women's room. He was angry and wanted to vent his anger and resentment towards Reina.

When the woman came out of the toilet, Bobby went straight to her, ‘Reina! I didn't expect that you were a seductive woman now! Hmh! I'm glad I divorced you! Basic cheap lady!”

“What do you mean?” Reina nodded in disbelief with Bobby's words. “Do not recriminate ya!”

THE PLAAKKK!

One slap landed on Bobby's face.

“Take your rotten mouth! Turns out living for a few years with me you don't know me! I'm so grateful to be able to escape from a jerk and toxic like you! It's disgusting! Cheating even accuses people carelessly! You shameless bastard!” let Reina go and leave Bobby.

“SIAL! How dare he now!” bobby snarled his hot cheeks. He did not expect that Reina would dare to slap him. Reina had always been gentle with him. Never slap, say in a high tone never.

“It turns out being Varen's wife makes your nature turn completely into a bar-bar! She must have paid less attention to you until you turned into a naughty and rude woman!” accuse Bobby and go after Reina again.

He did not correct his mistake for accusing Reina but instead blamed Varen for justifying his prejudice.

His jealousy turns a blind eye and Bobby's common sense. Reina stared at the food before her lazily, she had already lost her appetite because of Bobby.

She remembered her husband, and promised to have dinner with him. Reina glanced at Verdi who was eating voraciously. Seeing the chicken she ate made Reina remember her husband. ‘This is Varen.’'s favorite food.

Verdi looked at Reina who was watching her plate, he felt astonished to see that Reina's plate was still intact and had not been touched by the food. “Why you? Want to eat chicken too?”

“No, Sir.” he replied shaking his head.

“Then why don't you eat?”

“My food can be wrapped only? I am still full.” replied Reina lying.

“Felix! Ask the waiter to pack food for Reina.” Verdi's orders.

“There are more to order than soup?” ask Felix to Reina.

“May be yes sir?” reina asked with her innocent look.

“Can! You want to order all the food here too no problem. Let Verdi pay later! Hehehe...” his chuckle.

“Then I want to order a chicken mat like the one Mr. Verdi ate ya.” Reina smiled happily.

“OK! That's enough? Don't want to order anything else too?” ask Felix again.

“No sir. That's it!”

Felix called the waiters and mentioned Reina's order and offered her credit. Before long Reina's order food came and was neatly wrapped.

After finishing eating, Felix offers to drive Reina home but is rejected by the woman. In addition to not wanting to make Bobby more misunderstood, he also did not want Varen to think things through.

Reina finally ordered a taxi to take her home. Two hours later Reina arrives at the intersection where Varen is waiting for her.

Reina smiled when she saw Varen standing there waiting for her. She ran to her husband. “You've been waiting for a long time huh?”

“No, just.” replied Varen.

“Come home!” Reina directly held Varen's hand without being awkward. Channeling this yearning all day bothers him.

“I bawain iga soup with chicken sambalmatah. Looks like the chicken is good you'll like it. We eat together yes.”
