“Good ma. Thank you yes.” Reina disconnected the phone. He took a deep breath and then took it out slowly. Samara Bimantya, Reina repeated the name several times. Since their last meeting a few weeks ago, the woman has never bothered Reina again. But this time it was Reina who was planning to disturb the old woman.
‘It seems I have to prepare myself. As mama said, I must look neat and clean.’ murmured in my heart. He turned his laptop back on and continued his work.
Reina focused on doing some work so that it did not feel like time passed so quickly. Work hours were over, he rushed to tidy up his belongings.
When it was five o'clock in the afternoon, Reina just walked out of her office building. When he saw the taxi Tanta was waiting for him, he approached.
“Pak, I have to deliver mama merchandise so today I was delivered by mama.” driver Reina pointed to a black sedan parked right in front of Tanta's car.
Tanta is confused and afraid if later asked by his employer. But he also couldn't force Reina to get into his car. “Alright Mom. Its alright. I'll find other passengers only.”
“Sorry yes sir. I go first.” said Reina walked to her mother's car. The car drove towards the Bimantya residence.
Meanwhile, Tanta, because he did not want to get angry Verdi he immediately reported. “Young Master. Sorry, Mrs Reina said she went to deliver the order. So the madam went home with her mother's driver...well Mr.” Tanta disconnects the telepo and then talks through the speakers in his ear with someone.
“Where are they now?”…...Tanta immediately turned his car to catch up with the car that took Reina away. Not long after Reina arrived at the large and luxurious residence of the Bimantya Family.
He looked at the mansion in front of him, it had been fifteen minutes he was standing there but had not had the courage to go inside.
At this time his feelings are not as bad as a few years ago when Reina was invited to meet her future mother-in-law. Ddreeeettttt Dreeetttt Dreeetttt. Reina reached into the ponsol from the bag and answered the phone,
“Where are you now? Mama said that you went to her friend's house?” ask Varen.
Reina clenched her lips at Varen's voice that sounded worried about her. It made Reina feel even more guilty for not telling her husband the truth. He doesn't want to lie but Reina convinces herself to meet Samara.
“Iya. My mom told me to deliver things to her friend. The cafe is busy.”
“Send the address now! I'll catch up with you there.”
“No need Varen. You don't have to follow me here because I'm just a minute away.”
“But it's Reina's night. You don't wear your jacket either, the air is always cold. Quickly tell me where the address is. I'll catch up with you there.”
Varen remained muscular about to catch up with Reina, it made Reina's heart throb to hear it. “Varen! Just wait for me at home. I'll be home in a minute. See you soon ya.”
Reina immediately disconnected her phone. The longer Reina listened to Varen's worries the more her heart was squeezed.
“Why with Varen? His attitude is so strange!” reina said softly while hitting her chest that felt pain and tightness. After he calmed down for a while, he asked the driver to enter the Bimantya family home.
“Welcome, Madam.” greet Ezra. Reina did not answer and came out carrying the delivery her mother had prepared.
Ezra quickly brought Reina's luggage into the house. “Let's follow me Mistress.”
For a moment Reina was stunned to see Verdi's photo displayed below the big photo. Verdi's photos from childhood to adulthood are lined up there. Reina circulated her gaze watching closely around her. He stared with his own eyes.
“Wah! It's a surprise that you dared to come here! What do you need to do this night?” ask Samara without saying anything.
Reina turned around and bowed respectfully. “Sorry if my arrival interrupts your rest.” replied Reina.
Samara snorted cynically, “Sit down! I don't have much time to talk to you. Straight away at the point of the problem.” again Samara spoke in a taut tone.
Reina took her things from Ezra's hand and placed them on the table. Then he sat down in front of Samara.
“Go!” tell Samara with a gesture of his hand to Ezra.
“What is this? Why bother carrying all the hands? I don't need any of this.” said Samara staring at the things Reina was carrying.
There was a food bushel and a rectangular box wrapped in silk cloth. Reina smiled faintly then said, “Consider it as a sign of my manners. Because all this is too simple if it is considered the hand of a son-in-law to his father-in-law.”
Samara gasped with widened eyes. He looked at Reina while clenching his hands. I didn't know if the woman knew everything.
“Since when did you know it?” ask Samara in a flat tone.
Reina smiled bitterly, “Some time ago while in the hospital.” replied Reina. “At first I thought it was just a dream but after seeing the photos it turned out everything was real!” said Reina staring at the photo of little Verdi. The face of the little boy was exactly the same as the photo of the little boy displayed in the living room of his house.
The old photo is worn out but still shows the child's face clearly. Although the color of the eyes of the little boy at Reina's house is not clear.
“So all this time you were just pretending? You have cheated my grandson!” samara said with a face expression of disbelief.
“Who cheated who Madam?” sela Reina is no less fierce.
“You are the one who has made everything complicated and difficult to fix!”
Samara was stunned and she looked at Reina in disbelief with her attitude that was brave enough to reply to her words.
Unlike Reina who was always polite and gentle, this woman who was sitting in front of her looked arrogant and full of hatred.
“Good if you already know! I'm so sorry to ask you to leave my granddaughter! You are not a woman who deserves it.” said Samara without saying stale.
“I also don't want to deal with your grandchildren! I just want my husband! Can you leave Varen for me?” pinta Reina reversed Samara's words.
“What do you mean?” samara asked confused by Reina's words.
“Mrs! It's not my wish to deal with your grandson Verdi. I also don't want to get involved with the Bimantya.” family
