CHAPTER 22. HOMEOFFER

Reina looked at her parents, “You two why did you know I was here? Whereof? What purpose did you guys come here for?” reina asked with curiosity. He was even reluctant to call the two men with the call of papa and mama. Because for him both his parents have been dead since they destroyed his life.

Indira and Chandra looked at each other, and Chandra cleared her throat to answer Reina's question. “We know you live here from Anton, we are here to take you home.”

Reina gasped at the words of her father. A thin smile appeared on his lips but he did not believe the two people if they still cared about him.

“Mama catering business is on a lot of orders. Mama needs you to help out at home because of the lack of people for work. Mom will give you pocket money. Follow us home yes.” explained Indira.

Reina's heart was broken even more when she heard her mother's words, she smiled bitterly because her guess was right. Both of his parents came because they wanted to.

“So you guys came here because you want me to come home to help you at home? Oh so it turns out. If there is a shortage of people why not recruit additional employees? More efficient, right? Oh I know! You expect to enslave me like you've been doing?” reina stared intently at her parents.

Reina's parents run a catering business as well as a fairly large cafe. They even have some branches, arguably Reina comes from a well-to-do family but she never felt any of it.

Only Elora is considered a child by her parents. During this time if her mother's catering order was a lot, Reina always helped her because she also did not have a job just a housewife.

He was never given a salary like any other employee. Just given pocket money and food to take home but he never had a problem all along.

“For what mama added more employees if there is you. Employees will have to pay a salary every month if you don't. Mama just love pocket money sober and eat only.” replied Indira lightly without guilt and embarrassment in the slightest.

“Sorry yes. I can't! I already have a good job with a high salary! And I'm not Hasena's family since you ruined my marriage and my life! Didn't you think I wasn't a child all this time? You just need my free energy, don't you?”

“What did you say? Just get out of your job! From work elsewhere it is not clear that you help your mother. Be devoted to parents and return the favor!” indira mendelik.

“No yes no! I've been working and won't leave my job. I feel right here even though my house isn't as good as yours. Devoted? Only good parents are worthy of a bud! Not for those of you who could ruin your own child's life.”

Indira's face was red extinguished hearing Reina's words, “Basic child does not know thank you! We took care of you from childhood but here's your reply? Asked for help only do not want!”

“Yes I don't want to! Will never help you for free again!I've been devoted to you all this time! So I guess enough is what I gave you to return the favor.”

“Halaaahhhhh many reasons you! Elora said, You are a useless child! It's free that we came all the way here! Huhhhh already poor many styles anyway. You stupid child, prefers to live destitute and live in this dilapidated house rather than go home and live in a shelter.” said Chandra.

Reina's heart ached hearing her father's words. It was enough that she was devoted to them all this time, she was already tired of being treated arbitrarily and was considered like a maid. His heart was often even wounded with their sharp words.

“Come pa! We better just go home. Let him live in the fucking here. Hmh! Do not know the benefits, just also have a salary job not how arrogant! You can never be like Elora who has a good career in a big company!” without heeding Reina's feelings the two men left the house. Indira scolded Reina before their car drove away.

Reina directly slammed the door after the two left. She was crying, her heart was hurting because not even her parents treated her with proper affection. In their eyes, she was not a child but no more a free maid. Reina misses the love of her parents.

Varen stops his car in front of the company building where Reina usually waits for a taxi. He searched for Reina's figure but did not find her whereabouts. It was only a few minutes ago that the woman came out but it had disappeared so quickly. “What Reina already got a taxi huh?”

Varen drove the car slowly. Glancing to the right and left ensured his wife was no longer on the street. Then he pressed the gas pedal deeper and deeper to catch up with Reina to where they used to meet after work.

He cursed himself who had to live life in two identities. Varen did not mean to lie to Reina but circumstances forced her to do so. It all started with a family feud between his father and mother. Samara Varen's paternal grandmother hated the Saskara family, her mother's family.

Samara considers the death of her son Verdi Aditya Kenzie caused by Ivana Saskara, Varen's mother. Because when Varen's parents Verdi and Ivana married without the consent of the male family.

Samara wants her son to continue his studies but Verdi prefers to get married. Verdi was expelled from the family and was considered not a Kenzie family anymore.

Just five years after they got married, Verdi and Ivana had an accident. They died in the accident. Samara loses her son and she takes custody of Varen and changes her name to Verdi Aditya Kenzi, just like her father's name.

Four months ago Varen, who is still living abroad, received news from Anton, Saskara's family lawyer, about his grandfather's condition.

Ginto Saskara has a severe illness and wants to meet Varen before he dies. Hearing the news that his grandfather was sick, Varen also forced to go home. After a long debate, Samara finally allowed Varen to come home and settle in Indonesia. On condition that Varen must run the Kenzie family company that has been held by Felix, his cousin.

Shortly after Varen's return to Indonesia, Ginto Saskara died and left a will on Varen to marry the granddaughter of Hasena's family, her best friend. His grandfather's will was made because he heard the news that Varen always refused to marry and preferred to play women out there.

In return for the marriage, Ginto Saskara bequeathed all his wealth including the house of his late parents who had been Varen incar. It was for this reason that Varen agreed to marry Elora. When he was about to marry Elora, his grandmother became inflamed again. He disagrees with Varen marrying the woman his grandfather chose.

However, in order to get the house of his late parents, Varen again opposed his grandmother. Eventually Samara forcibly takes all the facilities that Varen can as Kenzie's granddaughter. And forbid him to show the Kenzie family's distinctive blue netra to anyone. Varen forced to wear contact lenses to cover his eyes.

Before getting married to Elora, Varen took everything into account. She plans to divorce Elora when her parents' house falls into her hands. That's why Varen didn't ask for the inheritance of any money, because he didn't need it. The legacy of two billion dollars was entirely given to Elora.
