CHAPTER 72. REINA'S ATTENTION

Samara snorted, “You guys declined the offer,u? Well I hope you guys won't regret.” Then Samara got up from her seat and left her two pieces.

“Attractive family.” murmured with a smile on his face. After Samara came out of the cafe Chandra Hasena and Indira breathed a sigh of relief.

Sitting face to face with Samara made their hearts beat fast due to the frightening aura that came out of Samara's body.

“Now mama knows where Varen's cold attitude comes from. They are really similar even their facial expressions and way of speaking are the same.” muttered Indira judging.

“Mama true. But papa was so sorry for Reina. He has to deal with cold people like the Bimantya family.” sahut Chandra.

The two of them also throw a glance at each other and start to feel worried and compassion for the fate of their daughter. Meanwhile Samara stared at the five-sheet red money in her hand.

He was surprised Reina would reimburse him for the medical expenses but Reina was more surprised by the attitude of both of Reina's parents who rejected her offer outright. That afternoon Samara accidentally ran herself into a taxi that Reina was riding. She wanted to know the true nature of her daughter-in-law and confirm her pregnancy.

But Kaifan's arrival messes with his goal. Samara stared at the wound on her palm. ‘It turns out the woman is quite friendly.’ her inner.

“Ramah?” samara's snort clenched her injured hand. “It looks like I'm getting old. To the extent that I forget that anger can be made up.” he murmured again.

‘Remember first! Ivanna was also being friendly just like Reina.’ whispered her heart to remind her of her wobbly mind. Samara's car enters her residence.

The taxi that hit him this afternoon was parked in the yard of the house. Samara got out of the car and walked towards the taxi driver who was bowing respect to him.

“Nyonya--”

THE PLAQUE!……...a loud slap lodged in the taxi driver's face.

“Why did you let your guard down, huh? Because of you Varen got hurt. You should have been able to predict a counterattack from the man.” Samara growled. He was annoyed by the carelessness Tanta had done. Tanta should be able to prevent Kaifan's arrival at his granddaughter's house.

“Sorry Mistress.” says Tanta while looking down. He realized he had been negligent in carrying out his duties because he was too shocked by the events that befell his great mistress.

As Reina takes Samara into her house, Tanta parks his car a little away from Varen's house so he doesn't see Kaifan's arrival.

“Where is the man now?” ask Samara.

Tanta lowered his head deeply, “Home stay Mistress. Our men are looking after him.”

Samara thought for a moment to weigh in on the decision that would be taken for Kaifan. Samara asks Ezra to find out Kaifan's identity.

And he was surprised to find out that Kaifan was one of the employees in his company. “Give the man a lesson. Make sure she doesn't bother my granddaughter anymore! One more thing, tighten the guard at Varen's house. I do not want to happen as per the woman's content.” said Samara set her foot towards home.

This afternoon while in the taxi, Samara saw the voice that Reina had bought and that was why she was sure that her daughter-in-law was pregnant. “Ezra!” call Samara while sitting on the couch.

“Iya Big Mistress.” sahut Ezra.

“Urus Kaifan's dismissal and don't let the man disturb Varen's wife again.”

“Baik Nyonya Besar.” Ezra mengangguk.

After a few days of not working in the kitchen. This morning Reina re-occupied herself with cooking. Recalling the wound on Varen's face made it difficult to chew so Reina planned to cook omelet and corn cream chicken soup as their breakfast menu.

“Reina.....you're really going to work today?” asked Varen amid the busy cooking wife.

“Of course I have been too long permission does not work.” replied Reina while bringing the results of her cooking to the dining table. Reina felt that her health had started to recover so she forced to go to work. After all, yesterday Varen promised to let him go to work after a one-day break.

“Alright then I will drive you.” said Varen sounding worried in his tone.

Reina did not turn down her husband's offer because she was actually afraid that she would meet Kaifan at the office. He was sure that the man would not stop bothering him just like that. But not going to work is also not a solution to avoid it, considering the wedding day is getting closer.

And Reina had to raise money immediately in order to prepare for their honeymoon.

“Eugghhh!” Varen grimaced in pain as she tried to open her mouth.

Kaifan's punch makes him sick when chewing food or just feeding food. Reina immediately stood up and took out a smaller sized spoon.

“Try using this spoon only.” Reina scoops the soup and thrusts her husband's mouth. Varen was stunned with a pecking expression. The distance between Reina's face and her was very close because of Reina's position standing next to her with her body bent over while holding a spoon in her hand.

“I can eat by myself.” said Varen in a sudden raucous voice.

He was about to grab Reina's hand to pick up the spoon but Reina instead avoided it.

“Quick open your mouth!” sue Reina without the slightest distance from her husband's face. She wanted to make sure how much pain her husband felt when he opened his mouth.

Varen moved his mouth, he tried not to grimace but failed. His head felt like it was being pulled up to cause pain all over his face.

“Wear straws only.” said Reina while returning to the kitchen to pick up straws. “Eat slowly.” Reina placed the straw on Varen's bowl while gently rubbing her back. Then he sat back in his chair.

Varen's body pecked as Reina touched him. The dilation of his heart is getting faster so that it makes all his blood pumped to become warm and cause a tickling sensation throughout his body. The feathers on Varen's body bristled and something pleasant filled his heart. Varen is happy to get the attention of his wife.

“I go in first yes, Varen.” Reina said goodbye to her husband when they reached the lobby. As if they did not want to part, their hands grew stronger. Reina seemed unwilling to lose Varen's hand in her hand. Actually Reina was afraid that Kaifan would meet her after Varen left.

“Do I have to take you inside?” ask Varen. Reina answered with her head. Reina's rejection was inversely proportional to the squeezing of her increasingly powerful hand.

“I'll take you all the way to the floor where you work.” connect Varen again.

Reina's head looked up and shook her head.

“No need. I'll go alone.” Reina does not want Varen's arrival to be the talk of her coworkers. He realized that ever since he and Varen got off the taxi, everyone's eyes were on him.

“I entered first yes.” saying goodbye to Reina while releasing her husband's hand. Then he stepped out into his office building.

Two guards greeted him kindly.

“What are you doing standing here?” a woman's voice breaks Varen's dream, who is firmly focused on his wife who disappeared behind the entrance of the company building. Varen stared with a flat expression looking at Elora and Bobby standing beside him.
