CHAPTER 31. INVESTIGATING

Reina imagined as she touched Varen's stocky body making her shortness of breath disappear. But instead it triggers his heart pain due to his heartbeat increasingly unreasonable. Along the way his heart was beating fast and fast.

‘What's wrong with me? Why am I like this?' whispered Reina's troubled heart.

“Completed!” said Varen tidied the hairpin on the front of his wife's head.

Reina looked at her appearance in front of the mirror, Varen combed her hair very neatly and clamped her bangs perfectly. The clasps made Reina look even more beautiful and cute. He looks like a teenage boy. Reina got up and grabbed her briefcase.

“Thank you. I go to work first. See you later tonight.” he said with a smile.

Varen opened the door and drove Reina to the front of the house. After the taxi that Reina was riding left and was not seen again quickly Varen entered and immediately get ready to go to the office. He again changed his appearance, cleaning the body paint on his body so that his white skin looks back.

It didn't take long for him to pack up, then lock the front door and walk to the parking lot where he always parked his car.

Meanwhile, in front of the Kenz Corp building, Elora was chatting with a woman in her car.

“I just know he's Saskara's grandson, he came home to Indonesia four months ago and he has no job, his job is just lazy and just play mobile all day. I want to know how his life during his stay abroad.” said Elora then silent for a moment.

“Who knows maybe he's a mobster or a dark smuggler, or maybe *******. I must know everything so I can act if he is a criminal.” Elora handed the photo of Varen to the woman beside her. “You should inform me as soon as possible!”

Women beside Elora frown, “Men this handsome mah mafia impossible. But if criminals were possible. Female villains, hehehe,” kekehnya.

“What female criminals? He's not normal!” refute Elora while smiling scornfully. Elora recalls her first night with Varen. That beautiful first night ended with Bobby.

He had been grooming all out and imagining a heated struggle with her but what happened? Let alone sipping honey and bathing in sweat, Varen did not even look at him in the slightest to make Elora hurt because all this time there was no man who was not tempted by him. Not only that, Varen's attitude also showed as if he felt disgusted at Elora.

“I'm sure the man must have an abnormal sexual orientation.” Elora accuses. “Try thinking, he was not interested in me at all when I was dressed sexy and fragrant. So far no one has rejected me.” said Elora proudly.

“You mean he's a same-sex lover?” ask Agata curiously.

“OK okay. But I also need a little money to pay for a taxi! How can I do a good job without money?”

“Ck! You never change! Dull eyes!” Elora grumbled as she grabbed her bag and took out five pieces of red-colored money.

“This! Take that! I look forward to your work!” he said he handed money to a woman named Agata. The woman smiled with satisfaction, “Siap! I'll work on it soon and bring you the information you want.”

"Well, you're worried about that!" Agata puts the money Elora gave him into his leather jacket pocket and gets out of Elora's car.

“What the hell is he? New clock coming to the office? Ck! That's great, isn't it? Can come to work as he pleases.” muttered as he chased after Reina who had just entered the lobby. As usual, Reina always greeted the security and receptionist briefly. He was a little late because the road was jammed due to an accident.

When Reina had just scanned her ID Card and the elevator door opened, Elora immediately blocked her hand and blocked her from entering the elevator until the elevator door closed again. “Great you huh? Basic undisciplined! New clock coming to the office? Uh Reina! You think this is your company? As you please come what time?” snapped Elora.

Reina threw out her brother's hand and replied no less, “Not your business! Move aside! You take care of yourself and your work.” Reina pushed Elora's body away from the elevator door.

But Elora instead pushed him and squeezed Reina's body into the wall. Elora's hand gripped both of Reina's shoulders firmly.

“I warned you yes! Don't let you defame our family! I will not hesitate to cross your name from the family list if you do.”, said Elora warned.

“What did you say? Family humiliation? What's the connection huh? Are you crazy, Elora? Late arrival to the office embarrasses the family? Don't make it up! I guess your brain is shorted, huh? No hugging!”

Reina broke away from her brother's clutches but Elora instead pressed him even more with all her might. She did not want to let Reina off just like that, bullying her sister was Elora's pleasure long ago.

“Do not pretend to be your fool, Reina!” hisses.

“I know what you did to work here. You---”

“What are you doing here?”

Elora and Reina jumped upon hearing Verdi's voice. Elora immediately let go of the clutches of her hands and bowed respectfully while putting on her sweetest smile.

Likewise with Reina, she lowered her head while respecting her aching arm.

“What's the problem?” verdi asked staring at Elora sharply.

“Reina arrived late Sir. So I rebuked him not to repeat again.” replied Elora.

“Nobody has the right to reprimand Reina except me! He is my secretary and works under my supervision and you have no right to act on him! Who are you?”

Verdi's jaw hardened as he spoke. Although Verdi spoke in a soft voice but his voice sounded like ice and firm. Making Elora and Reina stand in fear.

“Ma---sorry sir.” says Elora stammered. He was terrified because he was caught bullying Reina.

“This is the first and last warning for you! Once again you bully Reina then you are fired! I hate people who bully others! Now you go and do your job! I pay you to work not to annoy employees here.”

Without a second thought, Elora went straight from Verdi's presence with an irritated heart for not succeeding in making Reina suffer. He did not want to look for trouble with a person who could fire him at any time.

Elora needs this job, she has a good position with a high salary in this company. Although he was not happy to hear Verdi's words but what power, the man was the owner of the company who could kick him out at any time.
