CHAPTER 23. SLEEP TOGETHER

In order to bring Elora and Bobby closer, Varen even agrees to Elora's special request to Felix to step up Bobby's position. Felix couldn't turn down Elora's request because the woman often helped her when they were in college.

All Varen's plans are perfect, he's only waiting two more months to get his parents home. But all his plans are shattered when his father-in-law agrees to Elora's request to divorce Varen and marry Bobby, his sister's husband.

Actually Varen does not have a problem with who he married, whether Elora or Reina. Because his only goal is to get his parents' house and divorce his wife. But everything changed after Varen got to know Reina. Reina Kayona Hasena, a gentle angelic woman who is able to thrill Varen.

Reina's crying always makes Varen feel guilty and participate in Elora's plan to take her sister's husband. If only Varen did not approve of Bobby's promotion and did not stay silent at the sight of their affair, maybe Reina and Bobby's household was still fine. But everything has happened and can no longer be regretted.

Reina is divorced from Bobby and now Reina is his wife. Now there is only one thing Varen can do to make amends, to be a good husband to Reina.

Varen parked his car at the daycare. Then she ran to the crossroads to her house to meet Reina every time she came home from work.

Varen searches for his wife's whereabouts but does not find her. He glanced at his watch which already showed almost ten o'clock at night. He immediately ran for fear that Reina would walk as usual. When he got to the front of the house, he frowned to see his car-in-law. Chandra and Indira come out of their house.

Varen approaching them, “Mama, pa--”

“Basic useless man! Your wife worked till night but you just wandered off and just got home! Unfortunately Reina has a husband not clear like you.” cut Chandra while pointing to the face of Varen.

Varen was silent not chiming in, he was used to getting humiliation from his in-laws. He did not intend to hide his identity and job.

Nor did he intend to not give a living while still being Elora's husband. Only, Varen really did not have money at that time because Samara did not give him a penny.

He even hired Varen like any other employee, so Varen could not give money to Elora. After all, he had given him two billion money which according to Varen was already including five hundred million dowry and the rest was monthly for Elora. Later if he has money, he also plans to give more money.

Elora and her parents were impatient. They continue to argue about money even though Elora has got all the inheritance money that should belong to Varen.

“Pa already. Don't waste any more time. We better get going, just let Reina get lost with her useless husband. Mom doesn't think she's a child anymore! What was his stupid life like. We don't have to care anymore. Come on, we go home.”

Indira pulled her husband's hand and got into the car. After his father-in-law left, Varen immediately went inside the house. When she heard the door open, Reina looked up at her face, “Varen....” call her clean.

When he saw his wife crying, Varen immediately approached him. Her heart trembled at Reina's crying which always made her sad.

Whereas all this time Varen is a person who is indifferent to others even he is very cold and stone-hearted. Reina slammed into her husband's arms and hugged Varen tightly, “I was scared when I didn't see you at home. I'm afraid to be alone.”

Reina cried out of hurt to her parents and also because of her fear of not finding her husband at home. Varen clasped his wife's body while patting her back gently.

“There's nothing you need to fear. I won't leave you alone.”

Reina's cry grew louder, she was moved because Varen reminded her she would always accompany him.

She was afraid that Varen would leave and leave her while sleeping. Varen was initially about to refuse because she did not want to hear Reina's anger like before. He was also afraid of not being able to hold back if he continued to be close to Reina.

But seeing the woman's sad and swollen face, Varen did not have the heart to make her sadder.

“Do not cross this limit.” said Reina while pointing to an empty place between them. Varen simply nodded and laid her body beside Reina.

After a while, Reina fell asleep. At first he slept quietly but over time his position shifted. He approached Varen until he finally smuggled himself into Varen's body.

Varen tried to stay away but Reina hugged her waist tightly. “Rei, your hands make me uncomfortable.” said Varen moving Reina's hands from her waist.

Instead of letting go of hugs, he actually put his body on Varen. Reina even made Varen's arm as a support for her head.

Varen is uncomfortable with their current position. Every movement that Reina made made her body bristled until the sensitive part of her body stiffened. Every little swipe that Reina made made made Varen hold her breath and hold herself back from touching Reina's body.

Varen shifted her body slightly away from Reina but Reina actually back tightened her embrace.

Before long, the sound of Reina's breathing began to be regular after making her husband's body stiffen. After making sure Reina was fast asleep, Varen slowly removed Reina's hand from her waist and propped her head up with a pillow.

She was about to move to sleep on the sofa but before she could get up, Reina opened her eyes instead.

“Where are you?” reina asked with her eyes half closed.

“Sleep on the sofa.” replied Varen.

Reina put away the pillow under her head and pulled back Varen's arm to serve as a buffer. Then she hugged Varen again and even hooked her legs on her body.

“Sleep here only! Don't go anywhere.” he said back closed his eyes.

Varen could only swallow his saliva violently. Reina's embrace managed to make her body stiffen again. Very torturing Varen but he could not resist Reina's body.

“Don't be mad at Rei, when you wake up. I just enjoy what you give.” whispered.

The next morning Reina felt her body warm and she felt comfortable. Reina curled the tip of her lips into a smile as she closed her body to the hard roll she was hugging.

‘Cross? From when is there a bolster in this room?’ thought. Reina opened her eyes and she glared as she looked at Varen's body she was hugging.

“At last you woke up too.” said Varen staring at Reina who looked up with a red blushing facial expression. “I'm sleepy, can you let go of your embrace?”

Reina frowned looking at Varen.

“Your hands and feet are twisting me.” Varen explained in response to Reina's confusion.
