“Is there a problem with his lunch menu sir?” asked Reina who was confused to see Verdi who was just looking at his food.

Felix looked at his cousin with eyes as if asking the same thing as Reina. Verdi stared at Reina at a glance without hesitation he started eating his food. He grimaced slightly as he opened his mouth wide.

From the end of his eyes Verdi saw Reina's reaction when he saw her in pain. But Reina's face remained flat and indifferent. Verdi was disappointed that he expected the attention Reina gave him at home.

But what he got in the office was the opposite, Reina did not care about it in the least. Felix grimaced at his cousin who was forcing himself to eat.

“Reina. He has not been able to eat hard.” Felix said staring at Reina.

“Good sir.” said Reina turned her body about to leave but Verdi forbid it.

“No need. I will eat what you bought earlier.” said Verdi.

Felix frowned with Verdi's strange attitude, when it was clear he was in pain but still insisted on eating. He scratched his cheek that was not itchy.

Reina stared at her watch which was already showing at 12:10 p.m. “Pak, can I go? I also have to have lunch because now is my lunch hour.”

“Of course. Please.” Felix replied quickly. Verdi turned a sharp look at his cousin. Felix frowned not understanding Verdi's sharp gaze.

Reina looked at Verdi asking for his approval. “At the end of the afternoon break. So I have to hurry to go to lunch.” Reina told Verdi.

Hearing his wife Verdi's words grew irritated. Not only did she not care but Reina also preferred to leave instead of accompanying her to lunch.

“Did I make a mistake? Why are you so indifferent to me today?” the two questions that had filled Verdi's mind had finally popped out of his lips.
