"Where are my legs, Mom?"
The screams of a girl dressed in a blue white uniform echoed throughout the house, leaving everyone forced to cover their ringing ears in pain.
"Just a second!"
A woman seemed to be walking in a hurry to go down the stairs, not forgetting while carrying the socks that became the reason for the commotion this morning.
"You're a big boy, Adel. Why does everything still have to be Mother who prepares it anyway?"
The girl named Adel immediately grabbed the socks in the hands of the mother without listening to what her mother said.
"Douh, I've had this bad luck."
Adel snatched his bag lying on the floor and made his mother shake her head, preparing to go to school.
"Breakfast first, Del,"
"I had breakfast at school. With Mom."
Adel ran out of the house while waving his hand, he immediately got into the car that used to take him to school.
The woman looked at her daughter with a frustrated sigh, somehow she had to remind Adel that breakfast was very important.
"Mom. Did you see my glasses?"
The woman gasped in shock upon hearing her daughter's screams and instantly turned around. "There's on your desk, Ezra."
"Nothing, Mom."
The woman clucked as she walked quickly to meet her son, not long after the voice of the husband was heard.
"Where did you save the file last night, Swing?"
The woman further sped up her pace when she heard their voices, of course she had to give them what they wanted immediately or they would keep shouting.
The situation in the morning was really like a battlefield for a woman named Ayundya Nadira. Not only would he prepare breakfast for everyone, but he would also be preoccupied with all the shouting from them.
All of that keeps repeating itself every day, but there is no problem with that because Ayun has been used to it for years.
After finishing preparing all the needs for everyone, Ayun immediately returned to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. It was seen that he had made 2 cups of coffee for husband and father-in-law, a cup of tea for mother-in-law, as well as a glass of juice for his eldest son.
Everyone rushed to the dinner table to enjoy breakfast together, as did Ayun who was sitting right next to the husband.
"Where is Adel? Has he gone to school?" evan asked, he's Ayun's husband.
Ayun nodded her head while giving a plate of rice that was filled with side dishes for the husband.
"He just left, he said there's something to do."
Evan looked at Ayun with dislike. "How many times have I told you that she has to have breakfast first and then go to school, Ayun. What if her stomach hurts later?" He stared intently making Ayun sigh violently.
"Your daughter is a wayward one, Evan. Ayun reminded him repeatedly, but he still did not want to hear," said Mery, he was Ayun's father-in-law.
"But still, Mom. We have to force him to let him have breakfast."
Evan remains determined to force Adel to make breakfast Ayun and the in-laws can only nod while enjoying the breakfast that has been presented in front of each.
"Oh yeah, tonight I don't go home."
"Where are you going, Ezra?" asked Evan sharply.
"We have a festival on campus, Dad. So everyone has to be there until the show's over,"
"What time does it finish? Agus sir, can pick you up later," said Ayun while putting mouth after mouthful into his mouth.
"The others also stayed at the campus, Mom. Cook's the only one I'm going home?"
Ezra threw a stale face. He is 18 years old and can be said to be an adult, but still not allowed this and that.
"But-"
"Yes already. You can stay the night, but remember to take care of yourself and your behavior."
She looked at her husband in disbelief. Why would the husband allow Ezra to stay? Her husband forbade her children to sleep outside the home.
"Why did you allow it, Mom?" ask Ayun.
"It's okay, after all it's also important for the association, right?"
Ezra nodded his head. "Yes right. I'm the only one who doesn't know anything."
Swing was silent when he heard the husband's words, he then collected the dishes and brought them to the sink.
After eating, Ezra and Evan immediately set off for their respective places. Ezra rode his iron horse to campus, while his father drove his car to the office.
Seeing that her son and husband are gone, Ayun can relax a little. He straightened his legs on the carpet in front of the television, not forgetting while giving a little massage on his feet that felt stiff.
"Today you're going with Naila, Yun?"
Swing raised his head when he heard the voice of the in-laws. "So, Mom. I'll be leaving at 11."
"Yes, now you're ready. Let me wash the dishes and sweep the house."
Swing immediately shook his head, there was no way he would let his elderly mother-in-law do the house.
"No need, Mom." Swing to stand. "Said Doctor Mother has a lot of rest, so don't do any work."
"But the mother's body is getting sore all the more if not moving," said Mery while walking toward the sink. "Let's do the dishes, it's not a hard job."
Swing could only smile when he heard the words of the in-laws, grateful that he had good in-laws like Mery. He then rushed to clean the house, after which he had to prepare because he was going to go with his friend to an event.
Exactly at 10 past 30 minutes, Ayun already looks neat with a dress and hijab in matching blue. He went with Naila to the place of one of their friends who was holding a celebration.
Ayun and Naila were busy telling stories throughout the journey, until suddenly Naila was forced to step on the brakes suddenly when a small child ran in front of their car.
"Astaghfiullah!"
