Chapter 7. The Truth is So Painful.
Everyone immediately looked towards the door when they heard someone's voice, while Ayun still lowered her head sobbing.
"What, are you kidding me?" ezra asked in disbelief. He then stepped quickly before the father with a sharp look.
"Get into your room, Ezra. Is it worth interrupting an old man's conversation like this?" said Evan with no less sharp.
"Why? I'm an adult and I deserve to hear it all, is it true that you're in touch with another woman?"
Evan was speechless with a crimson face, while Ezra continued to stare at his father sharply and filled with anger.
"Why don't you answer your own son's questions, Evan? Are you feeling embarrassed now, huh?" mery asked sharply to make Ayun close her eyes. He really couldn't afford to be in that place.
Evan remained silent. He knows he made a mistake in loving and relating to another woman, but that doesn't mean his son can act like one.
"Leave that woman, and think of this mistake you've made."
Evan looked at his mother with a pus. "W-how could I possibly leave him like that, Mom?"
"Then, do you think you want to leave Ayun and this family?"

Mery's words instantly made everyone gasp in shock, especially Ayun who was already completely devastated and had no hope anymore.
"I-I never thought like that. Just-just"
"You want to be with Ayun and that woman, huh?" Mery really did not think about what Evan did, did his son want polygamy?
"How could you be this greedy, heartless man, Evan? Aren't you thinking about Ayun's feelings just a little?"
Endri pointed right at Ayun who had been silent since, while Evan was silent because he felt guilty about what he had done.
Of course Evan feels guilty for wishing Ayun love, but he himself cannot deny the love that is present between him and Sherly.
"No, I'll never forgive you if you don't leave that woman. Now go and break off your relationship with him."
Mery got up from the sofa while pointing towards the exit. Whatever happens, he will never let Evan relate to other women, let alone to do polygamy which will certainly hurt Ayun.
Evan was silent when he saw what his mother was doing, he then woke up and looked at the mother with sadness.
"I can't do that, Mom. Me, I've married Siri to her, and we've got kids too."
Mery and Endri were dumbfounded and deeply shocked upon hearing their son's confession, then what about Ayun?
Of course Ayun remained silent with unparalleled pain. Her heart was already shattered without a trace, even now she could not give any reaction when she found out if her husband had married Siri to another woman.
"You, you really-"
"Grandma!"
Ezra immediately caught the body of the grandmother who was about to fall to the floor, of course everyone jumped in shock when they saw all that.
Mery brushed off the hand of Evan holding her hand. "Bring grandma to the room, Ezra. Then drive this man out of here, he's no longer fit to live with us."

Evan freezes when he hears his mother's words, while Ezra nods and immediately holds the grandmother with the help of his grandfather to the room.
Ayun immediately brought warm water for the in-laws, he then helped the middle-aged woman to drink slowly.
"Rest, Mom. I'll make avocado juice for Mom." Swing to fix the blanket of the in-laws and put a roll on the edge of the bed.
Mery clasping Ayun's hand made the woman not step away, she then looked at the son-in-law with sadness.
"Have a rest and think nothing of it, Mom. Me, I'm fine." Swing tried to review a thin smile, even though in the end tears were dripping out.
"Don't say that, son. I know how you feel now." Mery's tears rolled down his face again, and he felt a deep pain in what Evan had done.
"But you take it easy, I won't let that man destroy this family. I'll make him part with that woman, and return to be your full husband."
Swing nodded his head bitterly. As hard as they can do all that, if Evan already loves another woman, what can they do?
"I love other women."
Swing closed his eyes when he remembered Evan's expression just a moment ago, he then blinked again and moved out of the room.
After hearing all the confessions and truth from her own husband's mouth, making a move Ayun began to waver. The pain in his heart completely shattered all love and hope, not even he could think of anything at the moment.
"Dragon!"
Swing who was in the kitchen gasped in shock upon hearing someone's call, but she did not look towards the person knowing that it was Evan.
"Talk to me for a second, Yun."
Swinging directly over Evan's hand that was holding his arm made the man gasp. "Isn't there nothing else we should talk about? Is there anything else you haven't said?"
Evan was silent with a sigh of frustration, he then sat on the dining chair in front of the woman.
"I know I made a mistake, Yun. I'm, I'm sorry."
Swing bitterly smiling. Is it that easy for Evan to apologize without a single bit of regret? Is he not important to that man?
"You're saying if you love another woman, then don't you love me, Mom?"
