Your Spirit from the Water of My Eyes

Your Spirit from the Water of My Eyes
S2 Chapter 23. Must Choose.

Mery gasped in surprise when she heard the husband's words. "W-what do you mean, Mom? How, how can you say such a thing?" Her lips quivered to ask what her husband meant.

Endri massaged his temples that felt pulsating. He himself did not know what to do to put an end to all these problems, and he should have been firm about what happened a long time ago.

"Take me, Mas!" pinta Mery clutching her husband's arm with a red face. "You said you'd sell our house, how could you-"

"Then what else do I have to do, Mery? Hah, try to tell me what we should do now," Endri said sharply.

Mery was silent when she heard the husband's words. He himself also does not know how to make money, but that does not mean they sell houses like that.

"That house is our only treasure left, Mas. All our memories from the beginning of marriage until now are also there. How could I possibly sell it?" mery said softly. Both of his eyes were back in tears, with chest-stifling pain.

Actually Endri also did not want to sell the house, but what else could they do besides sell it? If they are looking for a loan, who will give?

"We have nothing left, but-" Mery suddenly fell silent and did not continue his words when he remembered something, making Endri stare in confusion.

"True, why did I forget it" Mery said quickly as he picked up the phone in the bag.

Endri frowned, not understanding what his wife was doing. "What do you want, Mery?" He asked sharply.

"I have to tell Ayun what happened to Evan, Mas. I'm sure he will" Mery jumped in shock and couldn't continue his remarks when his phone was suddenly forcibly taken by Endri. "What are you doing, Mom? Why did you take my phone?" He looked in wonder and wondered.

Endri gritted his teeth with what the wife was going to do. "You're gonna tell Ayun?" He asked with sarcasm.

Mery nodded her head in fear, because her husband looked so angry that he had done nothing.

"Are you aware of what you're saying?" Endri stared in disbelief, leaving Mery bewildered. "How could you think you'd tell Ayun, while she has absolutely nothing to do with any of this?" He did not like it, and strongly disagreed.

Mery clucked in annoyance. "I know that he has absolutely nothing to do with it, but at least we can ask him for help. What's more he managed to get a 70% share of their share of the treasure, so it's not wrong if we ask-"

"Enough, Mery!" cut Endri in a snapping tone, making Mery gasp. "I didn't expect you to think like this, you should be ashamed to talk to Ayun let alone ask for her help. Did you forget, what your son did to him?"

Mery bowed with a trembling body got snapped and wrath from the husband, even though he just wanted to talk to Ayun. Where is his fault?

"We should be ashamed and self-conscious. We who have failed to become parents, we cannot educate our sons well to hurt and destroy the lives of others. And instead of getting back in touch and asking for help from the woman your son has hurt!" endri said sharply.

Until this moment, Endri had never contacted Ayun at all. Not because he had forgotten or hated the woman, but because he was ashamed of what happened.

From the beginning, Endri could not stop Evan's actions. He could not even do anything about it until Ayun and her two grandchildren were evicted from the house, which is why he felt it was no longer appropriate to contact the woman.

"I, I just want to help my son." Lirih Mery with sobbing. His head remained lowered with both hands clasped together, making Endri rub his face violently.

For a while, they kept each other quiet in that place while lamenting what had happened. Also try to think of a way out of the problem that befell Evan.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Sherly is seen already in Evan's room and confronting the man.

"Where is Sacred?" cut Evan sharply without waiting for Sherly to finish her speech.

Sherly then said if Suci was deposited in the home of his employees first, because no one could keep when they attended the trial.

"Go, I want to be alone" Evan said, laying down his body. He had time to sit by leaning on the back of the bed, because his back felt numb.

Sherly looked at Evan with a pus. She knew that the man was angry with her, but she wanted to accompany Evan.

"I'll accompany you here, Van. Let's later-"

"No need," Evan interrupted Sherly's remark again, of course making the woman feel hurt. "You'd better go and take care of the Saints, there's nothing you can do here, or you'll add to my troubles."

Sherly was speechless as she clenched her hands tightly. Though he was well-intentioned to accompany Evan, but the man was still being tough.

"What are you doing here?"

Mery's voice instantly made Evan and Sherly look towards the door, looking as the middle-aged woman stared at them intently.

"How dare you come here" cried Mery with sarcasm. "I told you not to show up in front of us again, don't you understand human language, huh?"

Evan who sees the anger of the mother can only look at the bitch, while Sherly herself is forced to get up from the chair.

"I am his wife, Mom. I definitely was-"

"No, now that you're no longer his wife," Mery quickly cut off, he turned to look at Evan. "Mama wants to divorce him right now, Evan. You shouldn't have been with that lady from the beginning*lan!"

Sherly gasped at the words of the in-laws, while Evan fell silent with his outstretched hand pressing down on his chest which was again throbbing pain.

"Stop, Mery. You need to think about the circumstances"

"No, I beg you not to do that, Evan. I love you so much, don't leave me" Sherly said in disbelief. He who was about to approach Evan was immediately pulled by Mery, and his body was thrown firmly until it hit the table.

"If you still think of us as your parents, then divorce her, Evan. If you don't divorce her right now, then we'll get out of your life!"
