Chapter 28. Symptoms of Bloody Fever.
Ezra gasped when he heard the mother's apology, especially when he saw the sobs on his mother's face.
"Why are you sorry? I did nothing wrong" said Ezra sharply. She quickly wiped away the tears on her face and did not allow her to cry anymore.
"I'm sorry, mom, you can't be a good wife to your dad. I can not maintain the mother's household, mother also can not provide a decent future for you," said Ayun with a sobbing softly.
Because of her inability as a wife, her two children must be the victims of the separation of their parents. It seemed like what Evan said was true, that the cause of this matter was himself.
"What did Mom say?" snapped Ezra made Ayun jerked in shock and immediately looked at his son with nyalang.
"Mother is not wrong in this matter, and everyone knows that you are guilty, too" Ezra pointedly denied. "He who had an affair with another woman, he did not even know the shame of admitting their relationship to have children as well. Then, where's Mom's fault?" He looked at his mother with a piercing look.
Swing was silent when he heard his son's words. It's true that Evan was the one who had cheated on her, and made such a mess. However, if she becomes a wife who matches what the man wants, then Evan will definitely not look for another woman.
"Mom knows, Son. But, if you can be a better wife and in accordance with your father's wishes, surely he will not look for another woman" said Ayun with a sad. True, his imperfections make the husband run into the arms of another woman.
Ezra laughed when he heard his mother's words. He is 20 years old, but he knows clearly that the reason a man cheats is not because of their wife's incompetence.
"No man is perfect, Mom. If you were perfect, you would still be looking for another woman. Even if Mother was the only woman on this earth, she would still feel less and would look for animals as a place of venting selfishness," Ezra quickly denied.
Swing could only sigh violently because of all these problems. Whoever is guilty will suffer both of his children.
"I'm sorry?"
Swing and Ezra jumped in shock when they saw that the Doctor who examined Adel was already standing before them. Even though they are in trouble, they do not remember being in the hospital.
"Pardon us, Doctor," said Ayun as he stood up from the chair, making the Doctor smile knot.
"It's okay, Buk." The doctor nodded his head. "We've checked your daughter's condition, it looks like the patient has dengue symptoms."
"De-fever bloody?" Swing shrieked in shock with a panicked face upon hearing the Doctor's explanation.
"Yes, Buk. We have done the examination and the results lead to symptoms of dengue fever, what before the patient has nausea or joint pain?" ask the Doctor.
Ayum fell silent while trying to remember what happened to Adel before his daughter developed a high fever.
"I remember Adel did not experience vomiting or complain of joint pain, but he had said if his stomach hurt and immediately rest in his room," replies Ayun who managed to remember Adel's complaint before they ended up in the hospital.
"All right, we got it, Buk. We have shown the patient's blood to be examined, hopefully the results are negative and the patient only experienced regular fever" said the doctor later.
"Adel." Swing looked at his daughter with sadness. He felt guilty for not taking good care of his daughter, especially since the matter was present. He completely forgot his children.
"Better Mom rest, let me take care of Adel," exclaimed Ezra making his mother turn towards him.
"You'll rest, son. Tomorrow you have to go to school" said Ayun as she sat on the sofa.
Ezra shook his head. She knew full well that her mother was tired, and she probably let her stay up late because she was looking after Adel.
"I don't have class tomorrow. So you sleep, I want to play on the phone." Ezra makes excuses to convince her while taking her cell phone in her pants pocket.
Swing silently for a moment while exhaling a rough breath. All right, maybe he'll take a short break, after that take turns with Ezra to keep Adel.
"Yes already, if that's how you go to sleep first. But later wake up mom if you want to sleep, it's not good to stay up all night, too," said Ayun while laying her body on the sofa, she stretched her muscles that felt stiff.
Ezra nodded her head to say the words of the mother while remaining focused on her phone. After a while later, he glanced towards his mother who was already asleep while clutching her body.
A faint smile was engraved on Ezra's face. He then took something from the bag that his mother had brought in order to cover the body of the mother who might be cold.
After blasting the cloth over her mother's body, Ezra walked up to Adel and sat down beside the bed. He looked at the face of the younger brother who looked comfortable in his sleep, then sighed harshly when recalling about their two parents.
"I'll definitely make you regret that you've cheated on me, but before that, I have to take care of Adel first."
Ezra rubbed his face violently. He frowned dizzy while holding his temple. Not because of having to look after Adel, but because of the problems caused by their father.
Adel and their father are very close. Since childhood Adel was always spoiled, and whatever his wishes will certainly be obeyed by Evan. However, that doesn't mean the relationship and Evan is bad. He is as good a relationship as father and son.
However, with this problem. Ezra felt very angry. He would have left his father to go with his mother, but something else happened with Adel.
"What if Adel doesn't want to come with me?"
