Swing was aghast in shock when he saw what was before him at this moment. Both of his eyes widened and were stunned, until he did not realize if he dropped the bottle of drink in his hand.
Pyars.
Fathir who was outside the guest gasped in shock when he heard the loud voice, he jumped from the chair to see what was happening.
Swing who accidentally broke the drink bottle rushed to collect the glass shards, not to later hit the feet of others who were in that place.
"What's up, Swing? Are you all right?"
Swing gasped at Fathir's voice and accidentally the broken glass scratched his index finger. "I-I accidentally broke this bottle of drink, Fathir." He replied as Fathir was already squatting before him.
Fathir sighed in relief when he saw that Ayun was fine. However, a second later he was shocked by the blood flowing in the woman's fingers.
"Your hands are bleeding, Swing!" fathir exclaimed frantically making Ayun immediately turn to his hand.
Ah, Ayun must have accidentally scratched a piece of glass while holding it. "It's okay, it's just-"
Fathir immediately pulled out Ayun's hand making the woman gasp in shock and unable to continue with her words. He took the woman to the sink and immediately washed the wound on Ayun's hand.
"Hold on, it must be painful" said Fathir as he continued to hold Ayun's hand.
Swing was silent when he saw what Fathir was doing. Both of his eyes looked at the man unblinkingly, let alone he saw the immense worry from the look on Fathir's face.
"My hands have been scratched by glass or knives, but why should he be so worried?" Ayun was astonished by Fathir's reaction.
Fathir continued to lay Ayun's hand under the shower until her blood disappeared, after which she took a small towel and rubbed it against the wound.
"Come, I'll treat the wound! Do not let the glass shards go inside" said Fathir while looking at Ayun.
Swing remained silent as he kept staring at Fathir, and he did not turn his gaze even though he was staring at him.
For a while they looked at each other again, as if observing and trying to understand each other's feelings.
A moment later, Ayun smiled as she turned her gaze to the side making Fathir come to a realization.
"It's just a small wound, Fathir. But thank you for cleaning it," said Ayun softly, he turned around and wanted to find a broom so he could clean the glass.
"No matter if it's a big or small wound, I'll still try to treat it, Swing."
Swing's steps stopped. His chest rumbled again when he heard Fathir's words, until he felt like there were thousands of butterflies flying in his stomach.
"I felt overwhelmed when I heard it, Fathir. But, sometimes there is a wound that does not require medicine, or even no medicine will cure it. All it just takes time, it will heal by itself," said Ayun.
Fathir was silent when he heard that. Right, all just waiting for when the time will heal all the wounds. However, time will not work well if we ourselves do not try to accept and come to terms with what is happening.
From behind the wall, the old woman seemed to smile at the conversation between Fathir and Ayun. He who had just finished picking the mango intended to wash it, but accidentally heard all that.
"Thank God you're fine, Fathir," he muttered as he walked back to the living room.
Fathir then notices Ayun collecting broken glass, but he intends to treat the woman's hand first.
When he finished, Ayun opened the back door of the house and was immediately greeted with a gust of wind that hit his face.
"God," said Ayun when he saw the scene he had seen from the window.
A vast expanse filled with flowers was plastered for real before him. The colour of the flower fascinated him so much that he could not blink both eyes.
"Do you like it?" asked Fathir who was currently standing beside Ayun.
Ayun turned her head towards Fathir, then looked back to the front. "The creation of God is very beautiful, Fathir. To the point that I can't take my eyes off for a second."
Fathir smiled happily upon hearing that. It turned out that it was not wrong for him to bring Ayun to this place, a place where he had once hidden from everyone, even from the world that was then mercilessly destroying him.
"Come, I'll treat your wounds first! After that I'll take you there."
"really? Can I see it up close?" ask Ayun excitedly.
Swing was stunned in disbelief when he heard it. How could the flowers belong to Fathir? Has the man bought the land?
Fathir then walked into the living room and met the grandmother to ask for medicine, while Ayun followed in her footsteps with various questions that filled her mind.
"What's up, kid? Why are you getting hurt?" the grandmother asked worriedly when Fathir asked for a P3K box.
Swing smile. "Sorry, Grandma. I accidentally broke Grandma's drink bottle." He felt bad.
"Oh my God, be careful next time, son. Look, your hands are hurting," exclaimed the granny back.
Swing only nodded his head while watching Fathir who was treating his finger, even though he could treat it himself.
"From tomorrow grandma has to change all those bottles. If it breaks again, it'll be dangerous."
Swing gasped when he heard Fathir's words, while the grandmother immediately nodded her head.
"You're right, son. Tomorrow grandma will definitely replace it immediately" said the grandmother.
"Tu-wait a moment" said Ayun as he pulled his hand, but it was held by Fathir again. "N-no need to replace it, Grandma. I've been careless and not careful." He said seriously.
Fathir shook his head. "But still danger, Swing. You can get hurt again later, so it's better to replace it with one that's not made of glass." Swing looking at him sharply.
The grandmother agreed to what Fathir said, while Ayun fell silent because she could no longer say anything.
He could only stare at Fathir sharply. Could this man have been teaching this at someone else's house? Fathir even told the grandmother to change the water bottle, very rude.
After all was done, Fathir immediately took Ayun to the backyard of this house. The woman was so excited that she made a big smile.
Ayun eyes really presented with a very beautiful view. The environment still feels very natural, such as deliberately treated and should not be visited by others.
"Do these flowers belong to you, Fathir?" ask Ayun curiously.
Fathir who was peeling mangoes seemed to nod his head. "True, these flowers are mine. And this vast land is also mine, right up to the border there." He pointed in a far off direction.
Ayun was amazed when she heard it. People like Fathir like this can have it all.
"First, the flowers that were here were few, and it was planted by Asthma grandmother. After being here, I continued planting until it filled this land, and every day these flowers accompanied me" said Fathir.
Swing listened to Fathir's story seriously, for some reason he could feel how Fathir felt at that moment.
"I'm sure that you already know about what happened to my family, that's why I got to this place" Fathir said softly. "I hid myself in this place for almost 2 months, and all that thanks to the help of Asthma's grandmother. I disappeared from everyone, and I disappeared from the world for the sake of my sanity."
Ayun looked at Fathir with teary eyes, clearly visible sadness and suffering from the look on the man's face.
"But all that has passed, and this place has become my favorite place. That's why I'm taking you to this place" Fathir said later, he then stared at the very soothing flower bed.
Now Ayun understood why Fathir had brought her to this place. Although their problems were different, they still left a deep wound, and the man wanted him to heal the wound.
Swing then stood right beside Fathir while watching the scenery. Both feel the calmness and coolness that goes into the recesses of the soul.
"Thank you for bringing me here, Fathir. All my life, I've never seen a place this beautiful" Ayun said sincerely.
Fathir turned to look at her with a faint smile. "I'm glad you like it, Swing. Just like me, try to open your heart and rise from the pain that has been shackling your soul. Make this calm as strength."
Ayun nodded with what Fathir said, then the man invited him to go home because it was late afternoon.
"Just like you who are trying to open a new leaf, then I will also try to do it, Fathir. I can't be sure how it ends, but I hope that you're with me in every process."
