All the investigation team nodded their heads when they heard the order from the superior, after which they all disbanded from the place to immediately run the task.
Meanwhile, elsewhere it is seen that the auction championed by Evan has been completed. Burhan and Nia laughed happily when they got what they wanted, even their profits could be many times over if they had managed the land obtained.
Suddenly, the laughter on Burhan's face disappeared as he got an incoming call from his personal assistant. He answered the call and had a serious conversation with the caller.
"Nia, we seem to be in big trouble" Burhan said as he finished talking to his assistant, and approached his wife.
Nia who was calculating the total expenditure of money from the auction results turned her face towards the husband. "What do you mean?" He asked me without understanding.
Burhan then said that Evan had reported the files they had taken to the police station, and that the investigation was underway. They were then asked to come as witnesses to the case.
Nia fell silent with a shocked look when she heard the husband's words, but she had previously predicted that Evan would definitely take the police when she realized the disappearance of the file she was currently in.
"Why are you panicking like this? Take it easy, I've prepared everything" Nia said casually. He then put all his files in a bag and invited Burhan to leave.
"Wait!"
Nia and Burhan stopped their steps when they heard someone's call, they looked back and saw Akmal walking towards them.
"Actmal? What are you doing here?" asked Burhan sharply. Though the man did not participate in the event, but came to this place.
Akmal smiled when he heard Burhan's question. "I'm not a bod*oh guy like Evan you can fool, I know that you're the one who took the file. Right?" He asked sharply, and put on his demonic smirk.
"I don't know what you're saying, Akmal," Nia quickly denied, and she stared intently at the man.
"Come, Nia. You think I don't know your game?" Akmal chuckles. "I don't know how you got it, but I know you didn't have that form in the first place. Then suddenly you re-enroll, scan, and take care of the final file. You think I don't know?"
Nia and Burhan fell silent upon hearing Akmal's words. Dam*have also been that man, could have been looking for an opportunity like this.
"So what do you want now, Akmal?" burhan asked directly, making Akmal smile brightly.
"It turns out you're smart, too, Burhan. I won't tell anyone about this, as long as you give me a part."
Nia immediately clucked in annoyance upon hearing that. He could already guess that the man was asking for a share.
Not wanting to get worse, Nia immediately threw a check in front of Akmal 100 million to shut up to make the man smile widely.

Two days later, according to a call from the police. Burhan and Nia come to town to fulfill their call, of course the news reaches Evan's ears making him and the lawyer rush to the police station to find out what happened.
Nia and Burhan walked into a different room with their respective teams of investigators. They then honestly say that Evan's file was on them, and they got it from Sherly because it was the woman who sold it.
"I bought it for 50 million, and that's because he made the offer" Nia said. He then showed his chat with Sherly who was always the woman first who contacted him.
Investigators immediately recorded and confiscated the auction form from Nia's hands because it belonged to Evan, after all, but Nia knew that the file would come back to her because she was telling the truth under the pretext of buying.
Same with Burhan. Of course he had equated the answer with his wife, besides that he said he did not know and only followed what Nia did.
Almost an hour later they were in the investigation room, after which they were welcome out and strictly forbidden to travel far.
Evan who was already in that place immediately approached Nia and Burhan. "What are you doing here?" He asked sharply because he had not heard the results of the investigation from the police.
Nia sighed harshly and pretended to be sorry. "Sorry, Mr. Evan. You better just ask that to your young wife, surely the answer is much clearer." It made Evan frown confusedly.
"What-" Evan did not so continue his words when he saw the investigation team out of the room, there was even a female police officer who was with them.
"Come forward this arrest warrant, and take the suspect to the police station right now" one of the police officers told investigators that Evan and his lawyer were gasping.
Evan quickly approached them. "Say, tell me who took mine, because I'll catch it myself." He was happy that the suspect had already been set, could it be David?
The policeman looked at Evan and gave the suspect a letter. "We've determined a suspect in the case of the disappearance of your valuables, Mrs Sherly Salisya."
"What?" Evan squealed in shock with wide eyes when he heard the police's words. "You, what did you say?"
