Chapter 96. Just Want Tranquility.
Keanu said sharply. He was really upset with what his wife did, could-can continue to force that he would marry another woman.
Nindi herself could only smile when she saw her husband's annoyance. She only wanted to see her husband as being with a good and reliable wife, not as if it had been a hassle.
"Now rest, I will call the Doctor" said Keanu as he got out of bed, but he could not move his legs because Nindi blocked his hands.
"Here you go, Mas. I want to be with you." Nindi Lirih. She wanted to hold her husband tightly, because right now her whole body was really hurting.
Keanu heaved a heavy sigh and then went back up onto the bed, he lay down next to Nindi and hugged the wife's body tightly.
"Sleep, I'll always be here" Keanu softly said. A brief kiss he sprinkled onto Nindi's forehead, making a wide smile rise in his wife's pale lips.
Keanu rubbed Nindi's head fondly. Tears unknowingly flowed from the corner of his eyes, but he immediately wiped those tears before the wife saw.
Keanu's heart felt very sick and congested when he learned of the situation of the wife who was getting worse, especially so far his wife had not wanted to do any treatment anymore.
Since he first met Nindi about 8 years ago, his heart immediately fell in love in just seconds. However, long enough he struggled to get the heart of the woman, until finally Nindi willing to accept his love after a struggle for 1 year.
Just the night Keanu proposed to Nindi, that same night he found out that the woman was suffering from blood cancer.
Nindi said all about the illness she was suffering from, even showing her health report so Keanu could check it out in person. It was also what had made him not want to be close to a man, until finally the feeling was also melted with the presence of Keanu.
Keanu obviously felt shocked, and did not expect that Nindi was sick. She always looked happy as if everything was okay. However, it does not make his love fade, even his love is getting bigger until he immediately invites Nindi to get married.
Year after year passed, during that time Nindi continued to undergo treatment. However, the pain suffered is not also reduced, even more agonizing. Various ways have been done, but none have worked so far.
Nindi finally chose to resign, she was no longer able to undergo treatment that felt tormenting her body, even the crown on her head was no longer left due to chemotherapy that she had to always undergo.
Nindi chooses to resign to fate upon hearing the Doctor's explanation of her final condition, and chooses to live quietly together with those she cares for until death separates.
Keanu blinked his eyes in shock. Apparently he accidentally fell asleep while contemplating the state of the wife, he then glanced at his wife to make sure that Nindi was okay.
Meanwhile, elsewhere Abbas was seen in Hasna's room because he wanted to talk 4 points with the woman.
"If I stay for a while, sir," said Ayun who was in the mother's room as well, he walked out of there after seeing Abbas's nod.
"What's the matter, why does the atmosphere feel different?" Ayun was amazed by the look on Abbas's face, especially the man wanted to talk to his mother alone.
Swing immediately answered the call from his lawyer, then they engaged in a serious conversation.
"So, the day after tomorrow is the final trial, sir?" asked Ayun in shock, how could the divorce process happen so quickly?
"Yes, Buk. There's no reason to buy time, so can we meet now?"
Swing immediately agreed to Bram's invitation and then turned off their call. He rushed to the sister's room for a while, after which he just went to see Bram to talk about the divorce process.
Meanwhile, silence ensued inside Hasna's room after Ayun's departure. Both Hasna and Abbas had not yet made a sound, no matter what happened that they kept quiet.
"What's up, sir? Is there anything important you want to say to me?" asked Hasna, after a few minutes of silence.
Abbas looked at Hasna sharply. His chest was still pounding, just when they were together first. "How are you?" He chose to ask the news of the woman first, before talking about something the woman was hiding.
"Thank God I am good, sir. Thank you for asking," Hasna replied with a smile. His soft voice really made Abbas' blood rustle.
Abbas smiled faintly. "You're still as calm as you used to be, Hasna. Quiet, you can even keep a secret for years."
Hasna frowned when she heard Abbas sayings, she was confused and did not understand where the man was going at the moment.
"Isn't there something you should tell me, Hasna?" ask Abbas sharply.
Hasna fell silent, trying to understand what was being said. "Should it be said to you?"
"really. For example, who is Ayun's real father? Maybe you can start there."
