S2 Chapter 17. It's All Too Late.
Bram, who has been silent, has certainly had the right to interfere because they are his family. He even comes to Danu's house to discuss the matter, and explains David's intentions and goals of doing so.
Evan nodded his head at Bram's words. "Yes, Mr. Bram. I know if this apology is too late, but you also know how messed up my life was a while ago. Until I forget about all this." He said bitterly.
Bram fell silent and no longer let out his voice, as he himself also knew what had happened to Evan. Moreover, he who has worked hard to put pressure and problems on the man.
"I've heard what's happened to you, and I'm sorry. Merely, what you did indeed completely destroyed my son's self-esteem in front of a lot of people" Danu replied. He was indeed angry at David for having made a fuss, but he couldn't turn a blind eye to the truth either.

David then stepped inside the house with a cynical look that was highlighted towards Evan. "Well, I didn't expect you to visit me, sir." He spoke in his usual tone of voice, as if nothing had happened. He joined them and sat down next to Bram.
"Yes, David. I should have come to your house a long time ago and apologized for all the mistakes I made" Evan said. He knew full well that there was great anger in David's eyes.
David smiled when he heard it. "Without you coming, I've forgiven everyone because I'm a good person. But sorry, the legal process will go on." He retorted lightly, but managed to make Evan stare intently.
Instantly the atmosphere turned tense, making Maryam and Danu look at each other with worry.
"I'm aware that it has upset you and ruined your good name, David. But I came here sincerely, and I hope that you will solve everything in a familial way."
David immediately laughed when he heard Evan's words, making everyone stare anxiously. "In a family way, huh? If only you had thought this way, I might not have been troubled by your problems either."
Evan was silent with a dead red face. His anger began to be provoked, especially when he saw the laughter of David who seemed to underestimate him.
"That's it, it's better now you go home. Because I don't want to discuss the family issue that you are discussing, until you meet in court," David said with a circus while getting up from the sofa.
"David!" Danu looked at her son sharply, making David smile cynically.
"Why, do you want to blame me again?" david asked sharply, making Bram rush to calm him down.
"It's not like that, David. If you don't want to make peace already, but don't add to the problem anymore" Danu said.
"Here you go, I have to get back to work." David then walked quickly to get out of the place, making Evan immediately stop him.
"Please listen to me first, David. I'm really sorry, and I want to go back-"
Evan could no longer contain his anger. "You really won't forgive me and will continue this case?"
"Of course," David replied with a bright smile.
Evan's face instantly turned red upon hearing that. "You're really ungrateful, David. Did you forget that I hired you all along, huh?" His voice began to rise by an octave.
David smiled a lot. "You should have said that to yourself, Sir. All this time I've been developing your business and working on it all, if it wasn't for me, maybe you're still crawling now. So, who really doesn't know thank you?"
Evan clenched both his hands tightly as he could not refute David's words, while the others just kept quiet to see what was happening.
"Be aware, Sir. It's not the best of you, but the people who are by your side. But now, you've thrown it all away. Congratulations," David continued, he then continued his steps to get out of the place.
Evan's two eyes flushed perfectly with a burst of burning emotions. Without saying anything, he walked away from the place with great anger.
"Brengs!" evan slammed the door of his car. "How dare he insult me like that! Does she think she's great because I came to her to apologize?" He really felt angry.
All right, Evan's gonna get the report David gave him. He could no longer lower his pride in the presence of the man, what more should begging forgiveness from David.
Meanwhile, in another place, Ayun is seen being with Nindi. During these few days, Nindi's health improved quickly. The woman was able to talk even though she could not move freely, she had even been moved to the same room with Ayun.
Swing itself is no longer using a wheelchair to move, although it has not been allowed to walk for a long time.
"Why do you keep smiling, Nindi? Is there something that makes you happy?" ask Ayun in surprise.
"Of course, Ma'am. What else could make me happier than we are together?" nindi answered while holding both hands of her brother. Ever since she realized, Ayun always accompanied her and was by her side, even to the point of making her husband feel alienated.
Ayun smiled happily, they were both in the room because Keanu and Abbas were having lunch.
"Bak understands what you're feeling, Dek. Because I also feel very happy. Thank you for accepting mbak and mbak family, really you are a very good woman, Nindi," said Ayun with a soft tone. The sincere smile she gave made Nindi's heart feel warm.
