S2 Chapter 30. An Offer.
Nindi who heard the sound of a cell phone immediately picked up the flat object. He asked who the owner of the phone was to the others, because someone was calling.
"That's Mbak Ayun's phone, Ma'am. Try to lift it," said Yuni.
Nindi nodded her head. He first saw who was calling, then the name of his father children on the mobile phone screen.
"Is this Evan?" mummy Nindi.
He quickly picked up the call and said if he wasn't Ayun, then said if Ayun was on break.
Abbas, who saw Nindi holding Ayun's phone, immediately asked for the flat object because he knew that the one who was talking was Evan.
"I'm what, Evan?" Abbas interrupted Evan, leaving the man confused across the phone.
"This, who is this?" evan asked who was confused, but from the voice he heard it seemed like he was familiar with the person he was talking to.
"I'm his parents, why else would you call my daughter?" abbas asked sarcastically, making everyone in the place look straight at him.
Evan across the phone was silent. The truth is, he was talking to Abbas. Moreover, the middle-aged man said clearly that he was Ayun's old man.
"I mean Mr. Abbas. Sorry if it's disturbing," said Evan. He did not expect that Ayun was currently with Abbas, was it true that they were father and son? He hasn't even had the chance to ask Ayun all that.
"I remind you, Evan. This is your first and last warning. If you still disturb Ayun, then I will not remain silent" Abbas stressed. "What else if you wanted to borrow money from him, you should be ashamed as a man."
Evan clenched his lips with his jaw hardened when he heard Abbas's words. Even if it was true that the middle-aged man was Ayun's father, wouldn't it be too outrageous to say that to him?
"But if you really need money, then Keanu has an offer for you."
Evan, who would immediately turn off the call, abandoned his intentions when he heard Abbas's voice again. "What, what do you mean?"
"I know if you really need money, what else is the prison waiting for you. So, please call Keanu. That's also if you want to." Abbas's voice was heard again, of course making Evan feel slapped.
Before hearing Evan's reply, Abbas immediately turned off the call because Ezra and Adel had already descended the stairs. She didn't want her two grandchildren to know about what was happening, let alone Evan being sick. It could have been that the man took advantage of Adel and also Ezra by drawing their sympathy.
Keanu who had heard the words of the in-laws seemed to be smiling faintly. He had already told Abbas about his plans, and it just so happened that the time was very fitting.
Hasna, Yuni, and Nindi also clearly heard Abbas' speech. Questions ran through their heads, but they chose to ignore them. Let the men who solve the problem, especially with regard to Evan who might want to bother Ayun again.
Abbas and Keanu themselves chose to sit next to the house, while also talking about work issues. It seems that Ezra also joined them, trying to learn business problems from his experts.
"Oh yeah, Ezra. Is something going on?" ask Abbas. "Grandfather thinks there's something you're thinking about."
Ezra let out a heavy sigh, somehow his grandfather always knew he was upset or uncomfortable. "Well, there's something that pisses me off, cake." He then told her about what happened to him, as well as the anger that was being felt.
Abbas and Keanu were also visibly upset when they heard Ezra's story. From the beginning, Evan's parents were indeed very unequivocal. They can only be angry, but do nothing afterwards. They were silent and did nothing when Ayun was driven from the house with her two children.
"I really don't want any more contact with them. Enough of what's happened all along. I thought they were really supportive of us, but it's just sweet to be lipped." Ezra's voice rang out.
Keanu patted Ezra's shoulder gently, making the man look at him. "We're here, so don't think of anything unimportant. From now on, you have to learn to be uncaring. What else on people who can only hold you back, don't mind them. Focus on what's in front of you right now."
Ezra nodded in understanding, he would no longer look back and just focus on his goals and future.
Yeah, this is better. If Ezra is already really angry and does not care about Evan, then Keanu and Abbas can be more free to do anything to the man. There is no need to think if later Ezra feels sorry, because they believe Evan will definitely return to Ayun and Ezra if in a state of disintegration.

On the other hand, a faint smile appeared on Keanu's lips as he read Evan's message. He replied to the message and said he would come to the hospital with his assistant tomorrow.
"Good enough, you did grab the bait quickly while being pressed well, Evan. I'm gonna make you feel like swing all this time, who has to choose between the freedom or happiness of her kids when you choose another woman. Then tomorrow, you also have to choose between your freedom or your job."
