Today was the day that the students were looking forward to, which was the day of their graduation announcement. Not only were the students looking forward to the announcement, but the parents also looked very enthusiastic.
The same is the case with Evan who is currently in Adel's school. He found out about the graduation announcement day from a group in social media, because he was the one who joined the group.
Evan used to make comments in the group, but now no longer because there is Ayun who is also incorporated in it. He felt unworthy to interfere anymore, so let Ayun take care of everything.
Their smiles were flabbergasted by Evan when they saw the arrival of Ayun and Adel, especially when they saw the radiance of happiness on his daughter's face
"Adel," muttered Evan as he looked at Adel longing. He then took out a bouquet of flowers that he had deliberately prepared for the princess.
Evan slowly walked up to Ayun and Adel who were talking to someone. However, his steps instantly came to a halt upon seeing Fathir's arrival.
"Dragon!"
Ayun who was talking to the parents of Adel's friend immediately looked back when he heard someone's call, he then smiled when he saw Fathir and Faiz.
"Have you guys arrived before?" asked Fathir, while Faiz immediately crucified the hand of the future mother.
"No, we just arrived" said Ayun. He then frowned in surprise when he saw Fathir carrying two very beautiful bouquets of flowers.
Aware of Ayun's gaze, made Fathir smile knot. "Here, take it." He then gave one of the bouquets to Ayun.
Swing looked puzzled as Fathir gave the bouquet to her. "This, for me?"
Fathir nodded. "Yes, take it."
Ayun quickly picked up the bouquet and smiled in shame as they were now the center of everyone's attention, while Faiz and Adel were busy beating their throat to reveal what their parents were doing.
"And this one is for my naughty little daughter" said Fathir, offering another bouquet of flowers to Adel.
Adel smiled happily receiving the bouquet of flowers that Fathir gave. "Well, thank you, Om." He hugged the bouquet tightly.
"Papa please!" Suddenly Faiz made a sound. Of course he felt jealous when he saw Adel get flowers from his papa, while he was given nothing.
Fathir immediately smiled amusedly at Faiz's anger, as well as Ayun who seemed to shake her head at Fathir's actions.
"You're a man, mintak flower time too?" Fathir.
Cih, Faiz snorted bitterly. Could it be, didn't the papa give you anything other than flowers? His father had no intention of giving him a gift at all.
"Don't cry, Faiz. I want to, share the flowers with you," exclaimed Adel as he thrust out the flower in his hand, also sticking out his tongue to mock the man.
Faiz quickly grabbed Adel and tightened his hand right around the girl's neck, making Adel squeal in pain.
"Mother, help me!" screeched Adel while lashing Faiz's arm around his neck.
"No, my goodness, right?" faiz asked with a chuckle at the sight of Adel in pain, while Ayun and Fathir only sighed harshly when they saw what the boys were doing. However, they were happy to see the interaction between Adel and Faiz.
Everyone in that place seemed to be whispering when they saw the proximity of Ayun and Fathir. Obviously they all knew who Fathir was, because the man was the biggest donor in this private school .
Likewise with Evan who had not turned his eyes away from them. His heart throbbed pain seeing the interaction of Fathir with Ayun and Adel, he felt like he was slapped with what the man was doing.
How not, it seems clear if Fathir treats Ayun and Adel well. As for Evan, he could only hurt Ayun and Adel alone. Even during his time with Ayun, he never gave flowers or anything else to the woman.
Everyone went inside the hall that the school had prepared, as well as Fathir and Ayun, while Evan chose to stay outside and look out the window.
After everyone had gathered, the school started to announce the results of the students' exams. Starting from the highest rank, until the final result of all the students taking the exam.
One by one the students who are ranked above are welcome to come forward, because they will get an award from the principal. Likewise with Adel who ranked third, while for Faiz do not expect more. I could pass thank God.
"Adel is great, just like you," said Fathir.
Swing who was looking at Adel turned to look at Fathir. "All great people, Fathir. Just like you and Faiz."
Fathir chuckles. True, of course he and Faiz are great, for it has been proven to conquer the heart of Ayun and all the families of the woman.
Faiz also looked at Adel proudly. She knew that the girl was smart, but she did not expect that Adel could rank third out of all the IX students in her school.
"Well, isn't that Adel's father?" faiz muttered when he accidentally saw Evan behind the window. He then sharpened his gaze to make sure that he was not looking wrong. "True, it's his father." He was confused as to why Adel's father was there and did not enter the hall.
Fathir, who heard Faiz's murmur, looked at the window, and sure enough, he saw Evan there.
"Why is he standing there and not coming in?" Fathir kept staring. "What's the relationship and Adel hasn't improved?" He knew how the relationship between father and son was.
Then accidentally Fathir met with eyes with Evan who seemed surprised because it had been continuously noticed, until finally the man was no longer seen.
A few minutes later, all the events were finished. All students are declared graduated by the school, making parents feel very grateful.
"How about we have lunch together? I'll call Ezra to have him join us" Ayun said.
Of course Fathir immediately nodded in agreement, as did Adel and Faiz.
"But wait a minute, there is someone who wants to meet Adel" Fathir said.
"Hem, who?" asked Adel in surprise.
Without answering Adel's question, Fathir immediately walked towards the side of the hall where he had seen Evan making Ayun and Adel stare confusedly, while Faiz already knew who the person his papa meant.
"What are you doing here?" fathir asked as soon as he saw Evan, making the man gasp in shock.
Evan, who was sitting, stood up to see Fathir coming, and he did not expect that the man would come to him.
"No, I, I'm just being"
"At least meet your daughter and congratulate her. For that, right, you came here?"
Evan remained silent. Of course he came to see Adel, only he was afraid of making his daughter hate him even more.
"You're such a coward, Evan. If you dare to hurt them, you should also dare to apologize" Fathir said resentfully. He wanted to throw the man's head against the wall so he could think right.
"It's not like that, Fathir. I don't want to apologize. I, I'm just afraid the more it hurts Adel, I'm afraid he hates me even more" Evan said softly.
Fathir gave a rough sigh. "If it's like that, you better not show up forever in front of him. Or even you just disappear from this world, so your son won't suffer anymore." He spoke with sarcasm.
"Originally you know, Evan. You've hurt your children so much. With infidelity, betrayal, and separation. Then now, you're hurting their hearts by continuing to dodge like this. Do you think they don't suffer much from what you're doing?"
Evan lowered his head with both eyes hanging overcast, angering Fathir even more.
"Near them, then accept the anger and hatred they give. To hell with your fear, just show your sincerity and regret. Because someday, your children's hearts will surely melt with the sincerity you give."
