Evan remained adamant about not accepting the outcome of the judge's decision on the division of property, prompting his lawyer to intervene to secure it.
"If the defendant does not accept, then he can appeal the verdict that the court has given" said the judge firmly and clearly.
Evan clenched his hands together furiously. His face was flushed red withstanding the emotional turmoil that was starting to burn, eager for him to destroy everything around him at this moment.
Abbas, who had been watching the trial, smiled faintly. He is not a vengeful man, nor a cruel man. However, he was currently feeling pleased with what Evan was feeling.
"Please appeal as much as you want, Evan. For I alone will make sure that my daughters and grandchildren get their rights, though I am far better able to give you all the wealth more than you have." Abbas was eager to tell Evan directly, but circumstances were not possible until he could only keep it in his heart.
"With this, I am the presiding judge at the divorce hearing between brother Evan Deandra and sister Ayundya Nadira. He stated that Mr. Evan was proven to have remarried another woman without the permission of his wife. Adel returned the embrace of the father tightly. She tried to control her tears but still ended up sobbing. He closed his eyes for a moment, to soak in the warmth he had not felt for a long time, and then moved his eyes again after feeling calm.
"You're okay, aren't you, son? I miss you so much." Lirih Evan with a face that had been wet with tears, even his body shook from hugging his daughter.
Adel immediately broke his embrace without answering the father's words, making his father jerked in shock and forced to break his embrace as well.

"Dad, there's something I want to say to Dad," Adel cut quickly, bringing Evan's words to a halt.
Evan then nodded his head, hoping that what his daughter would say could bring happiness in the midst of her current state.
"Dad, do you know that today is my birthday?"

"Adel, I'm sorry. Dad's not-"
