S2 Chapter 6. Visit to Office.
After asking the news of the mother and talking long enough, Ezra passed by to his mother to leave for a while. He reasoned to want to see his college friend, so that the mother did not ask too much.
Ezra stepped out of the hospital while sending a message on the green app to someone. He said he was already in the hospital parking lot, and would be waiting at that place.
"Ezra!"
Ezra turned his face to the right side when he heard the voice of someone calling, he then smiled and approached the person.
"Grandfather's been waiting a long time?" ezra asked unhappily.
Abbas shook his head while patting the grandson on the shoulder. "No, grandpa just arrived. Come on, let's go now!" He then invites Ezra to get in the car.
Ezra nodded his head and passed into his grandfather's car, the two of them then drove away from the place to meet Bram who was waiting in front of Evan's office.
Today, Bram invited Abbas and Ezra to meet with Evan to discuss the issue of property that had been shared by the court. At first he wanted to discuss the matter with Ayun and Ezra alone, but since Ayun's circumstances were not possible, that was why he asked Abbas for help.
Not long after, Abbas and Ezra had arrived at their destination. Bram is seen coming out of the car when they get to the place, then welcome their arrival.
"Good morning by noon, sir. Sorry for interrupting your time" said Bram.
Abbas nodded his head. "It's okay, Bram. I'm glad you told me about this." He patted Bram on the shoulder with a sincere smile, as he felt very grateful for the lawyer's hard work.
Bram smiled happily because his work was going well, and he invited Abbas and Ezra to enter Evan's office. However, it seemed that the man was not in place.
"Good day, sir. Can I help you?" greeting the receptionist kindly to Bram and Abbas, he then frowned when he saw the arrival of Ezra who had just entered the place.
"Good day too, Miss. Can we meet your boss?" said Bram who immediately said their purpose came.
"Sorry, Sir. Mr. Evan is currently out of place" the woman replied.
Bram then asks where Evan is, which is immediately answered by the woman if since last night Evan has not come to the office and he does not know where his current boss is.
Ezra smiled sinisterly upon hearing that. Without saying anything, he just walked right into the room of the father making Abbas and the others stare in wonder. Of course no one could stop what he was doing, because the office belonged to his parents.
"How's this? Looks like we should get a new job soon."
Ezra's steps stopped when he heard the words of one of the father's employees who was in one of the rooms, he then glanced towards the room and there were several people in it.
Currently, there are several financial problems in the property business. Projects that are running cannot even be continued, as well as new project development plans that are hindered by funds.
"Then, what about our salary this month? Don't tell me we're not getting paid" said one woman frantically mixed with annoyance. Anyone will definitely feel worried if the office where they are experiencing financial problems and are headed for bankruptcy.
Brakes.
Everyone in the room jumped in shock when suddenly the door was opened violently by someone, their two pupils perfectly rounded when they saw Ezra's whereabouts, with a panicked face and immediately stood up.
"A-you're here, sir?" said one of them with surprise and surprise. Not usually Ezra came to his father's office, especially when he saw the look on the man's face that seemed to hear their chatter earlier.
Ezra sighed harshly and tried to ground his emotions. "You don't have to worry. Keep doing your job, because this office won't go bankrupt." He spoke sharply, making all of them who were lowered look straight at him.
"Sorry, Sir. Not just praying or not believing your words, but why can you say if this office is not bankrupt while the financial problems get bigger?" ask a man loudly.
"really. You because you haven't seen how the office is lately, let alone there is no more Mr. David here," continued the others.
Everyone in the place agreed to what the woman said, even the people who were on the ground repeatedly contacted them about the stalled development.
"All right, it's up to you. If you want to resign then please leave, but remember what I said was good," said Ezra with emphasis, said, he then walked out of the place feeling annoyed and uncomfortable.
Ezra was shocked when he saw his grandfather and Bram standing in front of him. "Jeez, Grandpa just surprised me." He spoke with his chest pounding.
Abbas smiled faintly as he looked at the shocked look on Ezra's face. It turned out that he and Bram had been there since, and listened to what his granddaughter had to say to Evan's employees.
"You don't have to worry and think about anything, son. Just focus on your mom and your college, and other business let grandpa and Bram take care of it."
