"Well, Buk Mery didn't go to the police station?" asked one of them to Mery, making the woman frown in confusion.

"Why are you asking like that?" ask Mery.

"What?" Mery squealed in shock upon hearing the words of his neighbor. "Why was Ayun arrested by the police?" Suddenly he panicked and looked at them all with question marks.
Everyone looked at each other when they heard the questions Mery had asked, some of them even seemed to whisper neighbors in response to the reaction the woman gave.
"Why are you quiet?" mery asked back, while her husband had already entered the house because he was lazy to hear their material.
"Not Swing, Buk. But Ibuk's other son-in-law, his second wife Evan," one of them replied.
Mery instantly fell silent upon hearing the answer they gave. He was shocked and unexpected that they would say something like this, and how did they know about Evan's second marriage?
"Well, we didn't expect that Ibuk's son would get married again. It's so sorry, Swing,"
"Yes right. Though she was a good and diligent woman, but Evan had to drive her and her children away as well."
Mery's eyes flashed angrily at what they said. How dare they scold his family in front of him like this?
"Don't you guys have any other jobs, huh?" mery asked sharply, making everyone gasp.
"We just tell Ibuk loh, does Ibuk not matter if the child Ibuk married again?"
"Yes right. If my son were like that, I would've kicked him out. Shame the family, but it seems like Ibuk supports Ibuk's children to marry again. It's so sorry, Ayun."
Everyone immediately accepted that speech. They feel sorry for what happened to Ayun, but the woman is very friendly and likes to help others if they are meeting in the market or in the mosque.
"You know what you guys are about my family, huh? If you come here just to babble about unimportant things, better leave right now! Take care of your own family and don't care about other people's problems" Mery sharply pushed away. He stared at them all with guts as if he wanted to swallow them round and round.
"Sad. Whatever it is, it's been given or even nyolot. It's fair that his son cheated on him and remarried, his mother's only people are like that!" say one of them tightly before leaving the place.
Mery immediately turned around and entered his house in annoyance. His chest rumbled violently as if it was burning because of the words that everyone gave to his family.
The sound of the door being shut firmly echoed in the place, making Endri who was inside the room immediately come out to see what happened.
"What the hell are they, do they think someone else's problem is something they can gossip about?" mery said with annoyance. "Do they themselves have no problems, so busy thinking about other people's problems?" He wiped the tears that were dripping down his face.
Mery was eager to slap and fight the evil mouths of those who were pretentious and meddling, but he could not do that or his family problems would instead become public consumption.
"What's up, Mery? Why are you like this?" endri asked in surprise when she saw the wife crying.

"We can't keep everyone's mouth shut, Mery. All we can do is close our own ears" Endri replied.
Mery who was about to speak again did not let out his voice when he heard a knock on the door. Are those the neighbors?
"Let me open" Endri said as he got up from the sofa. He walked towards the door and opened it immediately.
Sella stood right in front of Endri holding Saints, looking at him sharply and wondering.

"I'm Sella, Sherly's mother. And I came here to talk to Evan" Sella replied in full.
Endri immediately allowed the woman to enter, even though she herself did not know the woman, especially with the name of her son who was just mentioned earlier.
Sella immediately stepped in while watching the entire house. Not as big and luxurious as Abbas' house, but arguably bigger and better than the house Sherly occupied.
"We need to stay in this house immediately."
