Your Spirit from the Water of My Eyes
S2 Chapter 47. Learn From the Past.

Swing lowered his head as he again heard the praise Fathir gave for his cooking. The praise was very simple, but managed to hit his chest to make him feel embarrassed and happy at the same time.

"Thank you, there are still many flaws in the taste of my cooking," Ayun replied slowly.

Fathir then rushed away and moved closer to Ezra who was sitting on the bike. He immediately put on the helmet the man gave him, and climbed on his iron horse.

"We're leaving, Mom. Assalamu'alaikum" said Ezra, waving his hand at his mother.

"Wa'alaikum salam, be careful, Ezra," Ayun replied, replying to Ezra's hand.

Ayun smiled happily while continuing to look towards the departure of the two different men of the generation. He went back inside the house to rest. Today he felt very tired. Not only physically tired, but also tired of heart and mind.

A few days later, after signing a letter of agreement with Keanu. Evan kept shutting himself in the room. His brain could not be invited to think, he did not even know what to do at the moment.

"When do you want to be like this, Evan?" endri asked as she entered her son's room.

Evan looked at the father who had entered his room. He then sighed heavily while shifting the seat that was being occupied.

Endri notices Evan's appearance which looks very chaotic. It has been almost a week that the man has kept himself locked up in the room, and will come out if it is time to eat.

"The world won't stop spinning with you doing this. Get up and get excited, what's the point of locking yourself up like this? " save Endri sharply.

Evan was grieving when he heard it. He was not unwilling to do anything, but he really did not know where to start.

His brain seemed to stop working, and his closed mind did not know how to find a way out. Though he had tried to think of all, but his mind was always on the woman who had become his ex-wife.

"All right, it's up to you." Endri turned around and walked out of the room. He no longer knew what to say, nor did he want to put more pressure on his son.

Mery who was waiting in front of Evan's room immediately approached the husband who had just come out. She asks if her husband managed to talk to Evan or not because he feels anxious about her son.

"That's it, just leave him alone" Endri said as he stepped away from the spot.

Mery breathed a rough sigh. They are not willing to force Evan to make money, but they just do not want the man to continue to lock himself in the room. Wouldn't someone go crazy for a long time if they kept shutting themselves up like that?

"Oh my God, may my son be well" Mery murmured. He then went to the kitchen to prepare dinner because the time had begun to run late in the afternoon.

After the father came out of the room, Evan looked back at the window and noticed people passing by.

True what his father said, the world will not stop even if he dies. Life will go on as usual, and he will get further and further behind.

Evan rubbed his face violently and in frustration. He decided to take a bath so that his body and mind would be refreshed. If you remember, it seems like since last night he has not bathed at all.

After finishing, Evan thought about leaving the house and sipping fresh air in the afternoon. Mana knows she can think again clearly, and decides what to do for the survival of her family.

Evan walked towards the park which was not far from home. Throughout his footsteps, many pairs of eyes continued to pay attention. Not only that, they even blatantly rebuked his life.

"Basic men are shameless. Still capable, he showed the face of his trash in front of everyone, dead already."

"People like Mery and Mr. Endri have children like him, it can be embarrassing!"

Evan clenched both his hands tightly upon hearing the whispers from the people, let alone their gazes that continued to sharpen and judge.

Can't stand to hear it anymore, Evan decided to return home even though his feet have not reached the destination.

Brakes.

Evan shut the door of his house firmly while trying to hold back his emotions. He realized that what people were saying was true, just why should they care? Why didn't they think about their own lives and instead get busy scouting them?

"What's up, Evan?" mery asked with a panicked face as she saw Evan leaning against the door.

Evan gasped at the mother's voice, quickly standing up straight and changing the look on his face.

"I'm okay, Mom. I was just taking a walk, "he replied with a thin smile.

Mery looked at Evan with a soft look. Of course he knew what was happening outside of this house, especially around their home environment which was almost 24 hours talking about the ugliness of his son.

"Here, come with me."

Mery pulls Evan's hand making the man stunned. He invites Evan to sit in the chair, because they have not sat together like this for a long time.

Mery offers Evan what to drink, but his son replies that he is not thirsty at all.

Mery slowly pulled Evan's hand over his lap, then rubbed the back of his son's hand with a sad face.

"There's a lot going on in our family, son. And all that makes things change, both you and all of us. I will no longer talk about what happened. Let all that be a lesson for us in the future" said Mery softly.

Evan was silent with teary eyes. He looked down, and could not bear to look at his mother's two beads.

"You know you're suffering, son. But remember, there are still mothers and fathers here. We will always be by your side and will always give you support, so don't give up and don't listen to people's words" Mery said sobbing, as she tried to hold back her tears.

"Sorry, Mom. I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we've ruined our family like this" Evan said softly. His slumped body fell to the floor and immediately hugged his mother's feet.

"Already, Son. Don't be like this."

Mery tries to pull Evan's body back to sit, but his strength can be compared to his son's burly body.

"Make it all a lesson so that you can do better in the future, son. Regretting must be, but that does not mean slumped like this," pinta Mery with sadness.

"Rise up and prove to yourself that you've regretted everything. Don't repeat the same mistake again, and apologize to everyone you've hurt. Have you apologized to your children?"
