Elsewhere, Endri and Sherly were sitting in a park not far from the hospital. It just so happened that the place was not crowded, and it was fitting for a four-eyed talk like this.
Sherly lowered her head beside the in-law with a distance of a few jengkal. His chest was pounding, guessing exactly what Endri wanted to tell him, as this was the first time the middle-aged man had asked him to speak.
Endri himself looked straight ahead. His eyes stared blankly with a raging mind.
"Sorry, Dad. What, what do you want-"
"Go, Sherly. I can no longer help myself seeing you around us."
Sherly gasped at Endri's words. His head shot up and looked at the man sharply.
"No, I'm Evan's wife. I deserve to be with him" Sherly sharply declined. "I know I made a mistake, Dad. Please forgive me, I promise I will not make any more mistakes. Please don't throw me out." He complains, apologizes for not being expelled.
Endri gave a rough sigh, he then glanced towards the woman with a sharp look. "You know why I've been quiet all this time looking at you, huh?" He asked with sarcasm, and for the first time he spoke like that to someone else.
Sherly was silent and did not answer Endri's words. He still begged to be forgiven and given a chance.
"I've been quiet for neither accepting nor forgiving you, Sherly. I haven't even considered and cared about your existence, and it's all because of Saints!" He gritted his teeth holding back emotions.
"I am silent only because of Saints, I do not want any other child who has misfortune like my grandson Ezra and also Adel. But you have absolutely no mind and continue to make trouble, especially the man who said he loved you so much" Endri continued.
"You've always talked about the Saints. Please remember Saints, please think of Saints, he is also the son of Evan. That's not what you've been saying all this time?" endri with cynicism. "You said all that out loud, you asked us to think about your son's rights. Though all this time you've taken away the rights of other children, you've even ruined their happiness. Don't you feel guilty in the slightest, huh?"
Sherly was silent with her body stiffened. His hands were tightly interlocked, accompanied by a heartbeat that seemed to want to explode when he heard the sharp speech of the in-law.
"You're a mother, Sherly. You also have children, but where is your conscience to the other mother you cruelly destroyed?" Endri's words felt stuck in Sherly's heart. "You can't accept parting ways with Evan, you don't want your son not to have a father. What about Ezra and Adel? Do you think Ayun would want her son to have no father?"
Sherly's body trembled even more, she felt stupefied. Word by word that Endri spoke felt slicing through his chest.
"You were in love with Evan, and you didn't see Ayun at all. Do you think she doesn't love the husband she's been with for 20 years? Do you think your love is greater than a child's love for his father, so you deprived him of all the happiness of Ezra and Adel?" ask Endri with emotion.
"What if Saints were in their position, do you think he would be happy to see his parents split up, then lose his own father?"
Sherly's tears are on her face. He lowered his head sobbing, enduring the pain of his chest as he imagined what Endri was saying. No, he didn't want any of that to happen to Saints. He does not want to see his only daughter suffer, he will not be able to.
"That's enough, Sherly. I don't want to think about your son anymore, I don't want to see you guys anymore either. Get out of my house right now. If you stay there, you'll see how I clean you up."
Endri left without looking back, even though he heard Sherly's cries getting stronger.
Sherly cried sobbing that she made her face red. All of Endri's speech felt crushes his chest, making the feeling of tightness and pain spread throughout the body.
Not a single word came from his mouth. There is only pain that is currently shackling his soul and body, causing a sense of regret for what has been done.
After leaving the park, Endri returns to Evan's room. The man was sitting quietly, with his wife.
Mery immediately flocked Endri with various questions when he saw the arrival of the man, but her husband was silent and reluctant to talk.
"How's the blood test?" endri asked, trying to divert the conversation.
Mery immediately glanced at Evan who was silent on the bed, as if saying that he knew nothing.
"I'll say it later, Dad," Evan said softly. Just a moment ago the doctor gave her the results of the examination, and she was really surprised by what she saw. That's why he forbade doctors to tell his parents.
Both of Evan's hands clenched firmly considering the results of the test that the Doctor had given earlier. Where it is written that he took too much drugs, making his heart weakened and blood supply to the heart suddenly stopped.
Evan felt he had never taken the drug, and according to the examination he had taken it on a large scale. If he did not take it at all, then how could it possibly enter the body? Obviously, the one who did all of that was the one closest to her, Sherly.
Of course Evan remembers what happened some time ago, where his libido increased to make him want to connect int*im up to several times. All of that happened repeatedly, and it turned out that it was all caused by the drug lucknut.
"I'm really sorry to have known such a cunning woman like you, Sherly. I shouldn't love a crazy woman like you, how could you give me that medicine? Do you want to kill me? And I've always defended you, until because of you I lost everything. I lost my children, I lost even my wife."
