Not the Perfect Wife

Not the Perfect Wife
107. S2 - Not the mother

Today, Sunday. The whole family is at home, but Yasna has an appointment with Nayla to meet a fabric supplier at the girl's boutique. Actually Yasna had refused, but the supplier refused if Nayla came alone. They have yet to believe in a girl his age managing the business because of that, with Yasna forced to come.

Nayla came to Yasna's house in the morning, at her request. He wanted to go together to the meeting place.

"Come, Nay! We have breakfast first," Yasna asked.

"Sorry, Tan. I've had breakfast at home if forced it must not taste good."

"Yes, I understand. You wait here, it's okay, right?"

"Yes, not pa-pa."

Yasna left Nayla in the living room. He had breakfast with his family first. She was used to serving her husband.

"Mother, where are you going, same sister Nayla? Usually Mother is always at home every Sunday," said Afrin a little protest.

Usually the girl would use the time off to indulge in Yasna, but today the mother would leave.

"Yes, honey. Sorry, just today. Mother has a little work. After seeing a business partner, Mommy immediately went home, Not long."

"Why, anyway, Mommy uses all the work." Aydin also protested.

"Mother is just a little help. Oh, yes, Aydin. Would you like to go with Mother?"

"Where?"

"Just go out, anterin Mommy and Nayla."

"No, I'm home."

"Aydin, Nayla is a good girl, why don't you try to get to know her?" Yasna tried to persuade Aydin, hoping that his son would come along.

"Sorry, yes, Mother. From yesterday Mother always tried to introduce me to Nayla. I'm not interested in him at all."

"But, he's the-"

Unfinished Yasna spoke Nayla came and cut their conversation.

"Sorry, Aunt. Our colleagues have been waiting and they can't wait too long. Can we leave now? Because in two hours they will go abroad," said Nayla once entered the dining room.

Aydin was getting furious. He did not hesitate to say hurtful words.

"Can't you see them yourself? Why should I bring Mother? Now is the time for quality time with family. You should have understood. Don't wait because your mother has donated her heart to grandpa so, you can be just like mom. Mommy is already good with planting shares in your boutique. Let's just say it's payment for your mother's heart!" aydin said with emotion.

"Awin!" shouted Emran. While everyone was staring at Aydin in disbelief.

The mood suddenly felt quiet. They didn't expect Aydin to be able to say that. While Nayla just silently glued to look at the man who misinterpreted her mother's kindness

Yasna felt bad for Nayla. He asked the girl to come here. But now his son rebukes Nayla.

"Mas, it looks like I have to go now" Yasna said. He did not want the atmosphere to get more chaotic and would make them hurt each other.

"Yes, be careful." Yasna kissed the back of Emran's hand and took Nayla away. "Come on, we'll go, Nay!"

However, Nayla refused, looking intently at Aydin and saying, "I am sorry, Mr. Aydin. I never intended to sell my mother's heart. If your family object to the existence of my mother's heart? I voluntarily take it back."

Nayla turned around to leave the house. Yasna, who realized that the girl had left, immediately chased after her. While Aydin was silent, he also felt that his words had gone too far, but he was too proud to apologize.

Nayla tries to regulate her emotions. His mother's good intentions were misinterpreted by others. He also had no intention of interrupting their family time. This was indeed the work he had to do with Yasna.

"I understand, Auntie. Don't think too much" Nayla said by trying to smile.

"It is precisely Auntie who should say that. Please forgive Aydin, don't put too much into his words."

Nayla smiled again and said, "I'm fine, Auntie."

"You're not going to return Auntie's money, are you? You still want to work with Auntie, right?"

"I'm not that kind of person. I will never mix work with personal affairs."

"Thank you for understanding."

"But, I'd better get Aunty back inside because it's today, right, a day for the family so, I'm sorry, it's been disturbing the family event, Auntie. Regarding the matter of our colleague, later I will try to explain it carefully."

"Is that right, are you okay? What if they refuse?"

"Yes, Auntie, I'm fine. I will try to give them understanding. Excuse me, assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight." Nayla left the house.

Yasna went back into the house. However, not until he was in the dining room, his body froze hearing the words coming out of Aydin's mouth.

"Why, anyway, Pa. Mommy betrothed me to that woman? I know, my mother has loved me so much, but she didn't give birth to me. He shouldn't have fooled me. I've always obeyed him, not that he had to rule my life. "

"You don't talk like that."

"Indeed why? The truth is like that. She's not my real mother, no matter how evasive Papa is, but that's the truth."

"But watch your words. Don't let me hear all this."

Yasna's tears flowed. Now the woman knows where she is. She shouldn't have taken over the role of a birth mother for Aydin. Yasna did not enter the house, she turned back to go outside.

Yasna doesn't know where she's going. The woman wanted to calm herself down, before meeting her family. Yasna chose to go to the lake, a place she had not visited for a long time.Today she wanted to go there and groaned in that place. But now no one can accompany him.

Fazilah has been living abroad with her husband. There's no way Yasna could've contacted her best friend. She must have been busy with her husband and children.

Yasna rode an ojek to go to the lake. When everything feels different, it is like coming to a foreign place.

'Now this place feels strange, I used to always complain here and today, I also come to complain. I don't know what to do right now. It turns out that what I did was not everyone accepted it. I'm the one who's overconfident, thinks I mean too much,"

Yasna was crying. His heart was very sick, even though only a sentence was spoken from Aydin's lips. He had loved the children of Emran very much and considered them his biological children, but everything collapsed today.

Nothing can change her status as a mother. Yasna should have known herself, not wanted to rule their lives.
