"What's your name?" yasna asked a woman in front of her.
"My name is Wulan, ma'am."
"Do you have a CV?"
"There, one second." Wulan took a document she had prepared beforehand to give to her prospective employer. Yasna looked and read carefully the CV from the woman.
"How long have you been working as a domestic assistant?" ask Yasna.
"Five years, ma'am," replied Wulan.
"Here it is explained if you are a widow and have children. Your child is also five years old. After giving birth, do you work right away? Where is your son?"
"I worked at three months of age. Now my son is taken care of by my mother in the village."
"Are you divorced or separated from your ex-husband?"
"We're separated."
There was a sense of unease when Wulan had to tell about her past, but in order to get this job, she had to answer. All the questions from Yasna were also within reasonable limits. Wulan understood, maybe her prospective employer was afraid that she would become a thorn in her household. That woman can guarantee that it will never happen.
Although a widow, Wulan is not a cheap woman. She still knew the limits as a maid. The woman cannot cross the line. Wulan knew what it was like to be betrayed so she couldn't possibly do that.
"Why don't you just leave it to your ex-husband?" ask Yasna.
"My ex-husband is married again. I can't leave my son with another woman. Moreover, that woman has destroyed my household" replied Wulan who could be understood by Yasna without having to be explained further. He was in that position too.
"Rani has already explained to you, right, that I will be testing you for one month. If you can work here well and I am satisfied with your work, I will accept you. Otherwise, I'm sorry, can't accept you."
"Yes, Mom. I've understood. Rani explained everything."
"Come, I'll take you to your room."
"Let me, Mother," interrupted Nayla who was embraced by Yasna.
"You follow my daughter" said Yasna.
Wulan followed Nayla from behind to the room next to Rani's room first. Yasna didn't want anyone else to occupy the room just yet because there were still some Rani's belongings there as well.
"This is Madam Wulan's room, hopefully at home here."
"Yes, Mom, thank you."
"Well, I'll stay first, see if my daughter's up or not."
"Mom has a daughter? I don't think I'm married yet" said Wulan, who immediately shut her mouth.
"It's okay. She's my only daughter" Nayla said. "Oh, yes, did Ms Rani tell you that my mother is allergic to shrimp?"
"No, Ma. Rani didn't say."
"My mother is allergic to shrimp, if you want to cook shrimp can, but use the equipment under the kitchen table. You see, if there is a slight shrimp smell, surely the allergy relapses. So use another tool."
"Thank you, Mom. I almost made a mistake."
"Yes, it's okay."
"If everything else is okay, right, Mom? No one is allergic anymore?"
"Yes, everything else is okay, just mom. I'm going first. Mbak Wulan can work from tomorrow, for now can relax first while cleaning up the goods Mbak Wulan."
"Yes, Mom, thank you."
Nayla leaves Wulan alone.
Actually, the woman also did not have the heart of her elderly mother, who now had to take care of her child. It's just that he had no other choice. Wulan also couldn't possibly bring him to work. Moreover, his work as a household assistant, it will definitely require a large amount of energy. He could not focus on watching the child.

Afrin and Zahra have finished their classes. They walked outside the campus building. Both of them ordered a taxi. Afrin's gaze stopped on a car she was very familiar with.
"That's not Khairi's brother, Frin?" ask Zahra.
"Yes, why didn't he say, yes, if you want to pick me up?" answer Afrin by muttering.
"So I was angry because I wasn't being taken. Now picked up even mengedumel."
"Who is mengedumel? I'm just wondering. He didn't say anything. I thought Ivan's brother picked me up."
"Yes, you go home! I'm going to work first" said Zahra.
"We are together" said Afrin who felt bad because he had invited Zahra home together.
"No, I don't want to bother. Assalamualaikum."
"Getishalight." Afrin and Zahra waved each other.
"It's done with class, isn't it, honey?" khairi asked by approaching his wife.
"Already, Mas. If not, I'm still in class. You are a very strange question" replied Afrin.
"Darling, how come you answered that? Any more problems or another moon coming?" ask Khairi.
"Who's sniffy? It's just normal."
"This is what is the name if not sniffed? Yes, come on, let's go home!" bring Khairi. Afrin followed her husband without asking much questions. They boarded the car leaving the university for the apartment.
"We're going to the apartment, yeah, honey! Our stuff, just a few, not all."
"Come, Mas, only" said Afrin. "Mas Tumben take a leave of absence, did something happen?" ask Afrin while looking at her husband.
"Nothing, just leave. There were a few things about the same job. You know, right, if papa can't work anymore so, I'm in control of everything. I asked him a few things about him."
"No one can be trusted? Until I have to intervene on my own?"
"Nothing, there used to be, but it turns out that person betrayed equally papa. Finally to this day papa never believed in anyone other than his family."
"If secretary?"
"There's a secretary, but papa doesn't trust him completely. Maybe later I try to find someone who can be trusted.Hopefully there are still good people who can be honest."
"Amin, I hope."
Their car arrived at the apartment where they had lived all this time. The two descend towards Khairi's unit. Some people also greeted them. Afrin interaction with apartment dwellers is indeed quite good. No wonder so many know him.
"Honey, we just bring one suitcase not much. Later if there's something less we can buy."
"Then, Mom, bring a little of her clothes. At home there are also your clothes. If I don't exist at all."
"Yes, it's up to you."
