Not the Perfect Wife

Not the Perfect Wife
184. S2 - Wife of Aydin.

After doing her job, Nuri came out of Afrin's room. He wanted to go to the side yard of the house to breathe some fresh air. Apparently there is already Nayla who is watering some plants.

They look at each other and smile. Despite having met several times, Nuri still felt awkward when dealing with the woman in front of him. Either because of his guilt or he did not know each other.

"Have you done the job, Ri?" ask Nayla.

"Already, Brother. Just finished. Let's get some wind for a second."

"Sit down, yuk, Ri!" take Nayla by pointing at a long chair in the park.

"By, Brother." They walked together towards that chair and sat side by side.

The wind blew against the faces of the two who were currently still silent. The sound of the friction of the leaves is like music that drives away silence. Several times Nuri fixed her hijab, That she did just to cover her nervousness.

"What class are you in now, Ri?" ask Nayla at last.

"Eleven class, brother."

"A little while later I graduated. Where are you going to college?"

"It's less than a year, brother. I probably didn't go to college. If you get a scholarship, God will go to college later. If not, yes find a job to help us with the same abi looking for money, for a school sister," said Nuri.

"You, right, smart. I'll get a scholarship."

"But out there there are also so many more clever ones, brother."

Silent back, they were both confused as to what to say. Until Nayla ventured to ask the girl's personal problems.

"Ri, I want nanya, you've got a boyfriend yet?"

"Umi same abi forbid so, Nuri did not dare."

"So you've never dated at all?" nayla asked by looking at the girl's face. Nuri shook her head with a smile. "May you ask for something with me? But you have to promise to keep it."

"What first? I don't want to say promise, later I can't make it," refused Nuri.

"You can. I can."

"What, anyway, sister?" ask Nuri curious. It must be very important because Nayla does not want to be denied.

"You have to promise. Later after graduating high school, you want to be Mas Aydin's wife and be the mother of my son!" pinta Nayla clasped the palms of the girl who was now beside her.

Nuri was surprised to hear that, immediately she took off the woman's grasp. What does Nayla mean? Why would he say such a thing? Did she ask herself to be Aydin's second wife?

"What do you mean, brother? I don't understand it at all and I don't want to be a second wife, a third wife or so on. I don't want to be called an actor" Nuri refused.

"No, you will be Mas Aydin's only wife."

"Kak Aydin's wife is Brother!"

"Yes, but soon not. Brother's age won't be long because of that, I beg of you. Promise me that after you graduate school, you will marry Mas Aydin."

"That will never happen" said a man behind them, who was none other than Aydin.

"Mas Aydin!"

Actually Nuri still wants to ask, what does Nayla mean by saying if she will not be old anymore? Is that woman sick?

"What the hell, honey? You'll heal and be fine. Don't think the no-no. You're my only wife, nothing else" Aydin said.

"Mas, we have to think realistically. I also want to be with you, but if God doesn't want to, what can I do? I don't want my son to be raised by the wrong woman. Nuri is a good woman and I'm sure, my son's future will be bright in his hands."

"Nobody can replace you. I'll try to find the best doctor in the world. I'll even take you around the world looking for the best treatment."

"And I couldn't have made it to that time. My time is very limited and I know very well about it" Nayla said, staring at Aydin. "Nuri, she loves you a lot too. I'm sure you can be happy with her."

This time Nayla did not shed any tears. He promised to live the rest of his life stronger. The woman was already determined by her choice. No one can influence what he has decided.

"What do you mean? I don't love him" Aydin said, turning to look at Nuri sharply. "And you, don't think no. I will never marry you!" he continued by shouting.

Nuri who treated like that became trembling. He was never yelled at. At home, umi and her abi always said meekly to her. Even in school, when there are students who do not like it, no one ever snapped. Only cynical words came out of their mouths.

Yasna Dana Afrin who was at home, immediately headed for the park when she heard Aydin's angry screams. They thought something had happened to Nayla's health.

The two women of different ages arrived at the scene. They see Aydin being emotional and Nayla tries to calm him down. While Nuri had already lowered her head while shedding tears.

"What's this, Aydin? Why are you angry?" yasna asked while looking at everyone in turn.

"Ask his friend Afrin this odd. She may like people's husbands" Aydin replied sarcastically as if Nuri was a seductress.

"Who do you like?" ask Yasna curiously. Who is meant by his son. Does Nuri want to destroy people's marriages? Various questions caught up with him.

"She likes me and she influences Nayla to marry me to her."

"What!" yasna and Afrin shouted at the same time. They do not believe what they hear. Nuri has always been good. Maybe the girl did that.

"No, Mommy. I asked her to be Mas Aydin's wife, but Nuri refused and I begged her to accept my request."

Nayla doesn't want to let a girl get blamed for her request. Moreover, Nuri did not make any mistakes.

"Honey, you don't have to defend him" Aydin interrupted with emotion.

"I'm sure, Mom, heard what I said earlier. Why do you reverse the facts. Don't just because you defended me you slandered a girl."

Aydin quiet. It was true that he had heard all the talk of Nayla and Nuri. It's just that she doesn't like the girl's existence if it's just to fulfill Nayla's wish, which will marry them off.

The man admitted that Nuri was a good girl. Always be polite to anyone, even with people younger than him. However, untyk made her his wife, Aydin never thought in that direction.

"So what's really going on? Don't make Mommy dizzy?" yasna asked her son and daughter-in-law. He also felt sorry for Nuri who had been crying without being able to defend herself.
