After the morning prayers, Yasna wanted to cook in the kitchen. However, it was prevented by Emran. He wanted to apologize for what the man had said last night. Emran knew that Yasna must have been hurt by his words, but his wife said nothing.
"Where to go, honey," stopped Emran when he saw Yasna was coming out.
"You cook, Mas. As usual" Yasna replied with a smile.
"Let Rani cook. I want to talk to you. Last night you said you wanted to talk about something? I also want to apologize for being rude to you. Yesterday I was really tired so I didn't realize what I was saying."
"Mas doesn't need to apologize. I'm the one who should understand the situation, Mas. I mean, I'm meant to talk."
Yasna knew she was outrageous last night. Women do not understand the state of Emran who is tired and sleepy because of that he did not mind the incident last night, although Yasna was slightly injured.
"Then, we're talking now. What do you want to talk about Nayla and Aydin?" Emran did not want to prolong the problem. Let it go, which has already passed.
"Aydin wants to propose to Naila, Mas. He wants help finding out about Nayla's aunt's address."
"Why not just ask Nayla? Isn't she getting engaged to someone else?"
"No, their engagement was annulled because the man already had a lover and they were getting married,"
Emran nodded his head. She does not know about Nayla's fiancee because the man does not find out about Nayla's potential fiancee. That's none of his business either.
"Aydin and Nayla plan to hold a proposal event when?"
"Actually Nayla doesn't know anything. Aydin wanted to propose to her immediately."
"meaning?" Emran did not understand. If Nayla didn't know then, how did they propose to her?
"Aydin wants to directly propose to Nayla without asking first, let her answer later during the application event. Aydin was also ready to hear whatever Nayla's answer was."
Emran nodded back. He's starting to understand now. His son seemed to love Nayla so much that when he had the opportunity, Aydin moved quickly.
"So, you asked her aunt Nayla for her address?"
"No, I'm going to go first and tell Mbak Rini about Aydin's plan so that Mbak Rini can hide it from Nayla. I have the address, right?"
"There's a laptop in the workspace."
"Then send it to my number, yes, Mas. I'm going to Rini's house this afternoon."
"Yes, I'll send it to your number."
"Yes, I want to help Rani. Pity him busy himself," said Yasna as he moved.
"That's his job, honey, after all he's been quite deft."
"It just has to be helped, besides I'm not doing anything." Yasna immediately left her husband.
Emran nodded in response to his wife's words. He could not stop the woman from doing the housework. Though he had been looking for a younger and deft home assistant, but still Yasna was not willing to stop.
*****
Yasna's got her aunt Nayla's address. He's going there now. The woman was sure that if this time, Nayla was in the boutique so, the girl would not know of her arrival.
Yasna heads to Rini's house along with Mr. Hari. On the way Yasna was confused, how did she tell Rini about Aydin's plan? However, the woman tried to keep her cool so that everything was fine.
"It's here, ma'am," said Day to awaken Yasna's Daydream.
"Thank you Mr. Hari." Yasna's coming down.
The minimalist house looks so beautiful. It seems like Aunt Nayla is just like her, likes to plant a lot of plants. Looks like neatly lined flowers. Yasna knocked on the door several times, until Rini opened it.
"Assalamualaikum, Mrs Rini."
"Yes, it was confused to also look here and there, finally met too," lied Yasna. She couldn't possibly say if she knew the address of this house from her husband, Rini would be offended.
"Let's go in, this is my hut."
"Bak Rini, too low. The house is very comfortable." Yasna entered the house and sat in the living room.
"I'll get you a drink first." Rini soon passes leaving Yasna alone.
Yasna observed the room, saw some photos of Rini with her husband and a girl must be her daughter. There is also a photo of Nayla along with the family and there is a woman who Yasna does not know.
They look happy. Nayla also laughed with a wide, laugh that she had never seen. For others, it doesn't matter, but for Yasna it's very important. That indicates if Nayla feels comfortable and happy with the people around her.
"Sorry, ma'am, it's just that" said Rini, bringing a glass of tea for Yasna.
"Why bother. Water alone is enough" said Yasna.
They were silent for a moment. Yasna thought of the right words to talk to Rini. He did not want to hurt the heart of this woman beside him. Yasna sighed before speaking.
"Look, Mrs Rini. My intention and purpose here, I want to tell you, that my son named Aydin intends to propose to Nayla. If Rini's mom would help us."
"Sorry, Ms. Yasna. I still don't understand what it means, Mommy? I helped what?"
"I want to, Ms. Rini told Nayla that there was a man who wanted to propose to her, but don't tell her it was Aydin. Mbak Rini does not need to say that Nayla has to answer yes. All the answers are up to Nayla to accept it or not, the important thing is to say as I said before."
"So, Nayla doesn't know that Aydin wants to propose to her?"
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Oh, I feel I have no right to interfere with Nayla's life, Ma'am."
Rini looks confused. He doesn't know what to do. She thinks of Nayla as her daughter. Rini also loves him very much, but that doesn't mean she has to arrange a partner for his bangs.
"Mr doesn't have to force it. It's all still in Nayla's hands. He wants to accept or reject my son, the decision is all with Nayla. Actually, Nayla had opened my son's heart, but Aydin had disappointed him and finally Nayla received the arranged marriage with Rizki at that time and now the engagement has failed so, so, Aydin did not want to waste time and immediately wanted to make Nayla his wife."
Rini seems to be thinking, does she have to help Yasna's family or not? All the decisions are still with Nayla. Helping a little doesn't matter, does it?
"All right, Miss Yasna. I will try to talk to Naila, but I don't promise she will accept it" Rini said. In his heart he prayed, hopefully Aydin was a good man, seeing all his family people who were polite, kind and very respectful to others, like Yasna and her husband.
"Yes, Mother. I understand,"
"Please drink, Mother. There are some snacks too."
"Thank you, sorry for the trouble."
"No, I'm glad I have a guest at home. Usually I'm always alone, all on going to work."
"Did Nayla stay here often, Ma'am?" ask Yasna. He also wanted to know the habits of his future son-in-law.
"Sometimes, not too often. If he ever needs a friend, he's usually here."
They talked a lot about Nayla and Aydin. Rini only told as necessary about the girl's daily life. That's not his capacity. Let Nayla tell her herself.
