Not the Perfect Wife

Not the Perfect Wife
S2 - Mother come

A man sits on a hospital bed, accompanied by his sister. Who else if not Aydin. He's been there for two weeks with bandages covering both eyes.

He can never calm down. The man was always agitated, not only thinking about his circumstances, but also Nayla and the baby.

"Afrin," called Aydin by touching the spot next to him.

"Yes, Brother. I'm here" Afrin replied, approaching and holding her brother's hand.

"How's Nayla doing? Today he had surgery, everything's fine, right?"

"Everything went well. Mother has also seen the sister's child. She's a girl, very pretty," Afrin replied smilingly imagining her niece.

"really? He must be very similar to Nayla. Too bad, I can't see it."

"In a moment too, Brother can see. The doctor said, the surgery that Brother underwent was good until today so, Brother must be cured."

The man nodded. He also prayed that everything would be fine, before Aydin felt God was so evil to him, but Yasna gave her understanding, that all the trials that the man faced were a sign of His affection.

"Afrin, will you be honest with me?" ask Aydin to his brother. He felt something was covered up by his family and the man was curious about it.

"What, Brother?"

"Who has donated an eye to Brother?"

Afrin was surprised to hear the question from her brother. How did Aydin know about it? Did anyone tell him?

"Sister, what's the talk, anyway? I don't understand?" kilah Afrin's.

"You don't pretend you don't know anything! I'm sure you know. I feel alien to these eyes. There's something that can't be explained. To be honest, who has donated eyes to me? I remember that day the windshield broke and I felt my eyes hurt so much and couldn't see anything. My eyes must have been broken, right?" ask Aydin.

"That's Brother's eye" Afrin replied lying. For the time being it is better for him to answer like that. All the families agreed. The donor family doesn't want Aydin to know either.

"You are just like Mother. At that time, I also heard the doctor say that I would not be able to see again because my cornea was damaged. Unless there's an eye donor. I can't open my eyes, but I can still hear. At that time I thought it was just a dream, but more and more days everything justifies if what I heard back then was true."

Afrin was further confused by the brother's question. If he were to tell the truth, surely everyone would be angry at him. If not, however, Aydin will still find out the truth about it.

"I, right, answered, Brother. Those are Brother's eyes. No need to ask again what is important now, brother has healed and soon followed Kak Nayla to Singapore."

"When will this bandage be opened?" ask Aydin.

He no longer asked about his eyes. The man will find out for himself later, what is more important now is his recovery. Aydin asked, he would not get an answer

"Doctor, wait another week."

"Would I catch up with Nayla?"

"Where do I know! Just ask the doctor" Afrin replied with a ketus.

She was already upset with her brother who had asked so much from earlier. Earlier, the girl wanted to join Yasna to visit her nephew, but her mother forbade her because there was no one to look after Aydin.

"Then, how is Nuri? He was also with my brother at that time."

Afrin paused for a moment then replied, "He's fine, brother."

"Is he also being treated here?" ask Aydin again.

Afrin is increasingly confused as to what to answer to her brother. What should he say about Nuri's state. What if Aydin knows everything?

"He's been brought home with abi and uminya." That's the only answer Afrin can give if later Aydin asks again, let time answer.

"Thank God he's okay. I would feel very guilty if something happened to him" Aydin said, leaning on his raised bed.

"How's Mr Aydin doing, ma'am?" ask Yasna Rani.

"Yes, Mr. Emran replied that Mr. Aydin was waiting in Singapore. I don't know what kind of answer to give if Mbak Nayla asks again there."

Don't Emran, Yasna herself is also confused to answer the questions that Aydin every day threw at her. There's a lot of things they've been covering up lately.

"Mother," called a man from behind them, making the two women turn their heads.

"Father! Why are you still here?" ask Yasna confused. Didn't Rani say they were gone? Why is her husband still here?

"Some are left behind."

"lost? What's?" yasna asked with her frown.

"The mother left behind. I want Mommy to come."

"If you're coming, what about Aydin and Baby?"

"There's Afrin and Rani guarding them. Later Papa asked Pak Hari also for a change. Aydin is fine anyway."

"Yes, Mom. You better come along. Let Mr. Aydin and Baby, we take care" said Rani. The woman knew Emran was tired too and needed support.

Yasna thought for a moment. He still wanted to linger with his granddaughter. However, the woman also felt sorry for her husband who looked very tired.

"All right, I'm picking them up, yeah, Ran!"

"Yes, Mom."

Emran immediately invites Yasna to leave the hospital. They boarded Emran's car driven by Mr. Hari.

"Nayla where, Pa?" ask Yasna.

"Already on the way to the airport the same nurse."

They sit in the back. Emran closed the barrier so that Hari could not hear the talks of his two employers. There's something they should talk about.

"Mother, I'm sorry Papa, yes! It has been two months this Mother cuekin. We also rarely talk, if not about children," Emran said, holding Yasna's palm.

Suddenly the woman shed tears. She has also lost her husband's attention lately. Yasna admitted that she made a mistake. But what should be quiet like yesterday?

"Why crying? Is Papa so evil as Mother?" emran asked by rubbing his wife's cheeks.

"I think Papa's still mad about that?"

"Papa was not angry, just disappointed. Why did you hide that? If Mother can not sleep, can wake up Papa to nemenin Mother. Usually, right?"

"I just don't want to take Papa. I know Papa's tired from a lot of work. Especially since Nayla's been sick, all Papa's work is handled."

"After whatever Papa, there will definitely be time for Mother. Mother means more than that job. So Papa please start today whatever you feel, tell Papa. Whatever the circumstances, even if Papa is sick."

"Don't say it like that! Papa should be healthy, Mother apologizes."

"Papa also apologizes, if Papa is too hard."

Yasna nodded and hugged her husband. A lot of their time is spent taking care of the kids. The two prayed, hopefully after this problem passed, everything will be fine and their lives can be happy without any interference.
