Not the Perfect Wife

Aydin came to Nayla's boutique. He wanted to get the woman to eat outside. Looks like the boutique still has some buyers. Although not much, but it is good for newly opened boutiques.

"Assalamualaikum" said Aydin.

"Waalaikumsalam" said a woman named Fika. He's a Nayla officer.

"Is there a shadow, Ma'am?"

"There's inside, Mas. Please come in," said Fika who already knows Aydin.

The man immediately headed for Nayla's room. He's been here before, so he knows where Nayla's room is.

"Assalamualaikum" said Aydin when he saw Nayla who was behind him. The girl looks so busy that she is unaware of Aydin's arrival.

"Waalaikumsalam, Mas Aydin, come here not to say?"

"Inadvertently, I'd like to take you to dinner."

"Byeah, Mas. Just a minute, okay?"

"Yes" Aydin replied. "What time does your boutique close? it still looks crowded outside."

"So soon, there will be no buyers. Thank goodness, Mas. Every day the buyers are increasing" answered Nayla, who was taken by Aydin.

"You got a car?"

"No, Mas. It was used the same as Om Doni."

"Later to deliver, will I?"

"Byeah" answered Nayla. "What's not a hassle?"

"No, I drove you to your house that time, right?"

"No, Mas. I slept at aunt's."

"That means that when your car breaks down, you want to go home to auntie? Worth it, at that time I was confused you were in the area, your house, right, different directions."

"I've been there a lot since my mother died. They were also alone, just like me so, we accompanied each other."

Nayla, who was accustomed to the presence of her mother, suddenly had to be left behind by her mother. That's why she often sleeps in her aunt's house, so as not to be lonely.

"Excuse me, Ma'am," said Fika, a Nayla employee. "I want to go home, the store is closed. It's the key."

"Yes, please. Wait a minute, this is food for you."

"Thank you, Ma'am," said Fika. He left them both.

"Come, we're going too!" bring Nayla.

They leave the boutique.Truthfully Nayla still has a job, but she doesn't want to be in one room with a man. The girl was afraid something unwanted would happen.

They boarded the car and left the boutique. On the way Nayla's phone rang. Sarah's name is there. Soon the girl picked him up.

"Hello, assalamualaikum" Nayla said after sliding the green button.

"Waalaikumsalam, where are you? Aunty's in front of your boutique" asked Sarah.

"I'm on my way home, Auntie."

"I guess you're still here. Didn't you say you didn't bring a car?"

"I went home with a friend, Auntie. He just happened to stop by."

"Yes, then Auntie just go home."

"Yes, I'm sorry, Auntie," said Nayla. "Tante didn't say he wanted to go there either."

"Yes, it's okay. Aunty close first, assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight." Nayla feels bad for Sarah. The woman was always nice to him.

"From who?" ask Aydin.

"From Aunt Sarah."

"Why did you say I was your friend?" aydin asked Nayla to frown.

"If not a friend then, what?"

"We, right, still know each other so, we are still friends" Nayla said, making Aydin silent no longer comment.

It is true what Nayla said, if they just knew each other. Their current relationship is also limited to being open to each other and getting to know each other.

Finally they arrived at a restaurant and ordered food. As they wait for orders to arrive, they talk about their personal and family lives.

"I'm going to the toilet for a second, yeah, Mas." said Nayla.

"Yes" said Aydin.

As long as Nayla goes to the toilet. Aydin was like seeing a woman he knew passing by, but the man only caught a glimpse of her so, he wasn't quite sure, whether it was the woman Aydin knew or not.

Not wanting to be too dizzy the man chose to play his phone. The food has arrived. But Nayla is not back yet.

"Where's nayla, huh? How long," Aydin murmured because Nayla never returned.

A few minutes later. Finally the girl came back. However, his face looked flat.

"You, what, old Nay?" Aydin asked as he saw Nayla sitting in front of him.

"Yes, Mas. There were a lot of people" answered Nayla who was taken by Aydin.

The man saw Nayla's face look so different. Like not excited anymore.

"You why? Looks like something's up. Are you not well?" aydin asked with a look on Nayla's face.

"No, Mas. I'm it's okay. Let's just eat."

I still wonder what happened to Nayla. Aydin ate his food. Just a few mouthfuls of Aydin eating his food. Suddenly a woman came to ask for his help.

"Mas, help me. Dad's at the house, the pain's relapsing. There was nobody at home. No one was going to help me either, after the video spread. Please, only you can help me. Mother had asked the neighbors for help, but no one wanted to help" she asked with tears. Who else if not Airin.

Aydin looked confused. He didn't know how, on the one hand, he couldn't let someone who was sick, but at this time, Aydin was taking Nayla out to dinner. How could he leave that girl alone.

Nayla remained silent and ate her food, without looking at them. In his heart, he wished Aydin had rejected him and remained here. However, all is just wishful thinking.

"Nay, you're coming, huh?" pinta Aydin's.

"If he's coming, how can we get him, Mom?" sela Airin's.

Aydin is getting into a dilemma. While Nayla had already clenched one of her hands under the table.

"Sorry, Ma'am. You better find someone else who can help. We're having dinner" said Nayla curiously.

"Why are you so brave? My father is dying, what if he dies? You really are a woman with no heart." Airin cried even more at Nayla's words.

"We're having dinner. Please don't spoil the mood. I've never bothered you either!" Nayla's getting upset.

"That's what you are, Nay. Airin just wanted to help bring his father! You don't have to be that hard" said Aydin.

"Then, please take the woman and her father. Forget also about our deal" Nayla said firmly.

"Dad Airin needs help, why are you like this?" aydin and Nayla were silent.

"Mas, come on, I can't wait long!" bring Airin.

"Sorry, Nay. I have to take Airin's father. After that I'll be here. You're not going anywhere."

Aydin passed away with Airin. Nayla was silent with a blank look.

'Looks like we're not a match, Mas. May you be happy with your choice,'

Nayla called the waiter and paid for the food. After that, he took a taxi. Fortunately, when the girl came out there was a taxi that was dropping off passengers so, she could go home by riding it.

On the way Nayla just looked at the street through the window. His eyes looked empty. There is no spirit in it.
