294. S2 - Go together
"Mbak Wulan works at my mother-in-law's house, Ma," said Khairi as if he knew what her mother wanted to ask.
Nur nodded. Even though Wulan works at Khairi's house there is no problem for him. To that woman, Hamdan was the past. All she wants is to be happy with her children.
"Then I'll go home first." Wulan did not want to disturb them let go of longing.she also misses her son.
After Wulan's departure, they sat on a shabby mat. To be honest both Khairi and Afrin are uncomfortable, but both try to be ordinary. There's no way they're just standing.
"Sorry, yes, this is my home" Nur said.
"No pa-pa, ma'am." said Afrin.
"You guys, how do you know that you live in the same village as Wulan?"
Khairi also told how he found all the relics of Nur first and his meeting with Wulan. There was sadness in the middle-aged woman's eyes. It turned out that the ex-husband had never seen her and it was all because of her ex-in-law. Again because of that woman.

"Geez, I forgot!" exclaim Bu Nur. "Come, you guys haven't had breakfast, have you?"
"Not yet, Ma," said Khairi.
"Mom, we're just cooking tempeh with sambal. When we give Brother that food?" laily said in a whisper but could still be heard by Khairi and Afrin.
Nur confirmed Laily's speech. He had forgotten that if his son and daughter-in-law were rich, it was certain that they did not eat as they did. However, letting them starve was also not good.
"You bought rendang at Sumi's Mom there! You still have money, right?" asked Bu Nur in a whisper. When Laily would reply, Afrin spoke first.
"Come, Mom! I'm hungry." Afrin deliberately invited them immediately, without wanting to chimed in Laily's words.
Nur was forced to invite his son and daughter-in-law to eat. He could not possibly let the two starve. Hopefully the tempeh he cooks likes him.
"You just wait here. Let Laily bring it here. Inside there was no mat" said Nur, who was taken by Laily, who immediately went in to do what her mother said.
"Let me help Laily, ma'am," said Afrin, who soon passed without waiting for an answer from the woman.
Nur just silently looked at Afrin's missing back behind the bamboo wall cubicle of her house. Laily appeared with rice and fish followed by Afrin who brought other equipment. In the middle-aged woman's heart there was a fear if her son and daughter-in-law did not taste to eat here. Remembering what he was cooking at dawn.
Laily and Afrin returned to their seats. Bu Nur and Laily were silent, while Khairi and his wife looked at each other.
"Mom, when do we eat it? I was hungry" Afrin told a lie.
"Yes, come on, please!" nur gelagapan.

Laily is back with his robe and hijab. The girl no longer wears her work clothes. Later Khairi and Afrin will talk slowly to him to stop working without offending or demeaning him. They even intend to enroll Laily in college.
As Afrin said earlier, she and her husband took Nur and Laily for a walk. They had to go to Wulan's house first because Khairi's car was there. Wulan's mother was surprised to hear that her son-in-law's employer was Bu Aini's biological child. However, Wulan forbade her mother to ask further because it was none of her business.
Afrin and her family have been very kind to her. They bought a lot of toys for the princess. Ms. Yasna also gave him money for free. Wulan could not reply to him. He can only do his best for them.
"Sir Hari, wait here is okay, right? I want to go first with my mother and sister" Khairi said.

"You didn't sleep last night, son?" ask Bu Nur to Khairi. "Then we go back home. Let's get some rest and sleep."
"I'm fine, Ma" Khairi said with a smile.
