"Assalamualaikum" said Afrin as soon as he entered the house.
"Valayevansalam ... Afrin, you're on your own! Where's Khairi?" mama Merry asked while looking behind her daughter-in-law there might be a son.
"Mas Khairi has a sudden meeting, Ma. So can't go home" Afrin replied lying.
She couldn't possibly tell the truth, it would definitely hurt her in-laws. Suffice himself who hurt the attitude of the husband today.

"We eat now or wait for Khairi, Frin?" ask Mama Merry.
"Eat now, Ma. Mas Khairi came home late. Anyway Papa has to take medicine, right?"

Afrin got up and sat down to face her husband. He needs to explain what happened today.
