Not the Perfect Wife

Not the Perfect Wife
211. S2 - Not a lover

Afrin sat next to Khairi. Waiting for the man to wake up until he fell asleep. Emran and Yasna chose to go home because Nuri had been whining for him. Although the little girl was close to her mother, but still sometimes looking for the oma.

Dawns. However, Khairi was not yet conscious. There was the sound of dawn. Afrin woke up and prayed in the room. After that he taught in the chair beside Khairi bed using his cellphone.

Without the girl realizing it turned out that the man beside her was already conscious and looked at her with a smile. How happy Khairi was when he first opened his eyes, there was the idol beside him. At first he thought it was just a dream. However, when he noticed it was indeed true.

After finishing the lesson, Afrin turned to Khairi and she was surprised that the man smiled at her.

"You're sober?" ask Afrin.

"When you were teaching. You sound good."

"I'll call the doctor right away." Afrin wants to move. However, it was prevented by Khairi.

"No need, you just sit here. Later also during the time of the doctor's visit here. I want to spend time with you for now."

"But the doctor needs to check on you. How are you doing now!" Afrin still wanted to call the doctor, but Khairi quickly pulled the girl's hand until she almost fell on it. Fortunately, the other hand can be held on the side of the bed.

"If you're here, I'll be fine. You don't have to worry about me" whispered Khairi right on the girl's face.

Afrin immediately got up and tidied herself up. The girl was misbehaving, not knowing what to do.

"You, it's like this, it's still being reckless" Afrin said, leaning her body against the chair.

He did not think about the man. From yesterday the girl was worried about him, but it turned out that Khairi was fine even looking very good. If you know this, he better sleep at home.

"I'm not fighting, honey. I'm telling you the truth. You know how happy I was, when I first opened my eyes, it turned out that the person beside me was you. I hope this too will happen in the future and beyond" Khairi said with a look at him.

The girl just froze. This was the first time he had ever been close to a man. Especially in a closed room like this. Although they are currently in the hospital, it still feels strange to Afrin.

"Oh, yeah, did that guy hurt you?" ask Khairi.

Afrin who understood who was meant by the man also chose to shake her head. He did not want to make Khairi worried, given the man's state that was still not recovering properly. The girl was sure that her papa and Khairi's men had taken care of her.

"Where is he now?"

"Police office. You don't think about him. You better take care of your health to get well soon."

"I don't even want to get healed. I want to keep getting sick."

"Now that! Everyone wants to heal, why don't you?"

"When I'm healed, you're sure to get out of here, but when I'm sick you're here because of that, I'd rather be sick."

"Had it, don't keep fighting. I'm sick to know" said Afrin with a frown. However, it could not cover up if his face was currently met with red.

The door of the room was knocked on by someone from the outside and the door opened.

"Good morning" said the doctor who had just entered the room followed by a nurse.

"Good morning, Doctor," said Afrin with a smile.

"Don't smile at the other man" Khairi reprimanded, making Afrin look straight at the man with a frown. The doctor smiled.

"Just calm down, sir. I've had a wife, it's impossible to take your lover," the doctor said, embarrassing Afrin.

"Already, Doctor. Don't ignore his words. He likes to be sick when he is sick. After all I am not her lover" Afrin said.

"I can see that, sir," the doctor said with a smile. "Sorry, Sir. I'll check the wound first."

The doctor undressed the part of the back worn by Khari. "Alhamdulillah everything is good. Good thing the bullet didn't hit the vital organs so, everything's fine."

"When can I go home, Doctor?" ask Khairi.

"Not yet, sir. Are you no longer living in this hospital? There is a beautiful girl who has accompanied you."

"That's exactly it, Doctor. I don't really want to go home. Just here so he'll wait for me. When he comes home, he won't come near me."

The doctor laughed and heard it with the nurse he was with. "That can be arranged, sir. I'm getting excited too."

"If you want to be here! Yes, here alone. I'd rather go home than wait for a healthy person in the hospital. Thought it was good," grumbled Afrin.

"If you don't want to wait for me here, at home too."

"Ogah, I better sleep at home" Afrin said in a jutek tone.

The doctor and nurse simply smiled at the interaction between these lovers. They often see the affection of teenagers, but only this time the two see lovers who always fight.

"All right, Mr. Khairi. Excuse me first there'll be a nurse delivering medicine here."

"Thank you, Doctor," said Khairi, who was taken in by the doctor.

The doctor and nurse left the room and only Khairi and Afrin remained. The man was still looking at his pouting heart. It looks so adorable to him.

"Ngapain is you? From that moment on I kept thinking?" reprimand Afrin who feels uncomfortable.

"It's okay, honey. You're getting prettier if you pout like that."

Afrin did not say. He was engrossed in playing with his phone when the girl did not focus on what was seen.

"Here you go, don't pretend to play cell phone. Better now you bribe me, I'm starving" said Khairi made Afrin realize that from yesterday the man had not eaten anything.

"There is no food here. The nurse hasn't brought her here. I'll buy you some porridge, yeah!"

"Cock porridge! I don't want to, like a child," Khairi refused.

"You, right, are sick again! Eat it must be porridge."

"Is there no other food?" ask Khairi.

"Nothing, if anything, can't either. I'll go out first, yeah! Buy porridge."

"Don't, outside there's definitely my men, right? Just tell them!" the Khairi Order taken by Afrin.

The girl went out and ordered one of Khairi's men to stand guard at the door to buy porridge. Not to forget also Afrin gave more money for them to buy food.
