Not the Perfect Wife
129. S2 - Apologize

"Aydin, why do you look so lethargic?" asked Yasna, who saw her son enter the house in a state of lackluster. He had a hunch, something must have happened.

"There's nothing, Mother," Aydin replied.

"Don't you say you want to have dinner with Nayla? How come his face is lethargic? Are you rejected by him?"

"Not that, Mother."

"Continue what? Has he made any promises to other people and refused to go with you?"

"No, even I left him alone in the restaurant" Aydin replied in a soft voice. However, Yasna could still be heard.

"What do you mean? Why did you leave him alone in the restaurant?" asked Yasna who was surprised to hear what her son said.

Yasna already considered Nayla like her daughter, what if something happened to the girl, surely Yasna would feel guilty to the late Mother Asih.

"Look, Mother ...." Aydin told me everything that happened at the restaurant and also at Airin's house. He also explained that he had gone to Nayla's house. However, the house was empty because the girl was staying at her aunt's house.

Yasna was shocked to hear that. How could that happen? Right now he was completely disappointed in his son. The woman is increasingly unsure if Aydin can take Nayla's heart.

"Well, you better take a shower, right there! Regarding Nayla, can you explain tomorrow morning. Hopefully he'll accept your forgiveness."

Yasna tried not to worry. He did not want his son to be any more unsettled because the woman could see Aydin's guilt.

"Amin, hopefully Mother. I also know my mistake is huge."

"Thank God you realized it."

"I'll go to the room first, Mother." Aydin passed to his room.

After the departure of Aydin. Yasna also goes to her room to find a cell phone. Hopefully the girl will pick him up. However, many times the woman tried to call, it turned out that her number was not active. She also doesn't know her aunt Nayla's cell phone number.

'Hopefully Nayla gets home safely otherwise, I would have felt very guilty about the girl.because Aydin just left her without any sense of responsibility.'

"What's up, honey?" emran asked as he entered his room. He saw Yasna was so worried.

"Aydin, Mom. He left Nayla at his own restaurant. I'm worried about the girl. I tried calling his phone number, but it's off."

"Oh, you calm down. Nayla must be okay. Come on, let's go to sleep!"

Yasna followed her husband lying on the bed. Although his eyes were closed, but the woman's heart was still agitated. He could not sleep until he knew how he was.

"Sleep, honey." rebuked Emran with his eyes still closed.

"Mas, haven't slept?"

"Where can I sleep. You keep moving."

"Sorry, I can't sleep. Still thinking about Nayla."

"You just pray that he can get to his aunt's house safely. If you go like this, he will feel guilty. Maybe his phone's out of battery and he forgot the charger, so his phone's dead."

"Yes, Mum." Yasna complied with her husband's wishes, and she continued to pray for Nayla's safety until she fell asleep.

While in Aydin's room, the man also could not sleep, he thought about how Nayla was doing. Has the girl reached her aunt's house safe? Many times also Aydin tried to call his mobile number. However, it remains inactive.

*****

In the morning, at Aunt Rini's house, Nayla was busy in the kitchen with the middle-aged woman. They prepared breakfast for everyone. Soon Uncle Doni will be leaving for work so they have to hurry.

"You cook at home too, Nay?"

"Rarely, really, bik. Eating alone. So, sometimes like to be lazy, just like to buy more practical."

"Don't buy too often. Better to cook yourself, can train also to get used to it. Later if you have a husband the cooking becomes more delicious. Your husband, do you want to buy it? Later, even like it again, the same one that has a stall."

Rini knew that her uncle was actually very good at cooking. Maybe because he was alone so, afraid to waste if no one eats.

"Not often, too, Bik. I also like to cook myself sometimes."

"That's good, let her hands not be stiff if she holds a knife."

"Auntie could be, the time to hold the knife just stiff."

"Yes, it could be." They laugh together.

"There's nothing uncle. Just aunty who likes to talk weird," said Nayla.

"Auntie doesn't say anything" said Rini.

"Uncle is leaving?" ask Nayla.

"Yes, in a minute, there's still time for breakfast."

"Attep, yes, Uncle. Nayla ready to eat first. Aunty just sit down, let me be ready."

The girl prepared the food at the table. They also eat together. Eating anything tastes good when eaten together, even if the dish is simple.

After breakfast, Uncle Doni went to work using his motorbike which had been repaired. Nayla uses her own car.

"Bik, I'm not here tonight. I went home" Nayla said as she said goodbye.

"Yes, it's okay" said Bik Rini. "Wouldn't your house be contrived, Nay and you stay here with Auntie."

"No, Bik. I am still comfortable living there. Sometimes I feel lonely."

"Yes, it's up to you, but you promise, you have to come here often."

"I'm leaving, Bik. Assalamualaikum," said Nayla by kissing the back of Rini's hand.

"Getishalight."

The girl drove her car to the boutique. Nayla drives at moderate speed. Not long after, he finally arrived. There was already a car that Nayla knew very well. Who else would have owned it if not Aydin.

Nayla sighed. From yesterday, he had been trying to strengthen his heart. This time it seems like the test has begun and he should be strong. The girl did not want to be like her late mother, who was left alone by her husband.

Nayla does not want what her late mother experienced to happen to her life, therefore she must be firm on every man who approaches her. The girl got out of the car and Aydin got closer.

"Nay, I'm sorry about yesterday's incident" Aydin said as soon as he arrived in front of Nayla.

"We'd better get in first, ma'am. It's not good to see a lot of people."

Aydin simply nodded and followed Nayla towards her boutique. Also Fika who was waiting at the door, she was also surprised, the morning the man was already in front of the boutique.

"You've been waiting a long time, Fik?" ask Nayla.

"Just now, Ma'am."

"You're cleaning up yourself, don't you, papa? There are still guests" said Nayla made Aydin a little surprised. Yesterday he was considered a friend now why even a guest.

"Yes, it's okay. Ma'am."

Nayla immediately entered her room along with Aydin. The girl opened the freezer, wanting to grab a drink for her guests.

"Mas, what do you want to drink?" ask Nayla.

"No need, I just want to talk to you. I want to apologize for last night."

Nayla took out two cans of drink and put one in front of Aydin. He didn't know whether the man liked him or not.

"It's okay, I've forgotten it too."

"So you forgive me? I'm glad to hear it."

"I've forgiven you, but as for our deal, as I said last night, it'd better be all of that."

It is not easy to forgive others, but Nayla tries to take it away, even if it is difficult. If to start a relationship, Nayla must think carefully.
