"Assalamualaikum" said Aydin and Afrin while knocking on the door of a minimalist house. Who else is the occupant if not abi and uminya Nuri.
"Waalaikumsalam" said a woman from within.
As soon as the door opened, it looked like Umi was so shocked to see who was coming. Immediately he closed the door again very hard, to make his guest terjankan. Aydin and Afrin did not remain silent. They're back to the door.
"Assynolajet, Umi. Please open the door. We want to talk for a moment" Afrin said in a slightly loud voice. However, there is no truth from within.
"Mother, please let me talk for a moment. I want to apologize" Aydin said.
"Go from here! I don't want to see you guys!" yelled from the inside while covering both ears.
Abi who was in the room immediately came out because he heard the screams of his wife. The man was afraid of something happening, it turned out to be his true worry. The Emran family came back and it made the Umi angry again.
"What's up, Umi?" ask abi.
"There's nothing. Just tell them to leave," said Umi soon passed into his room.
He did not want to meet the people who had already made himself lose the princess. Abi looked at the back of his wife who disappeared into the room and immediately opened the door.
"Assalamualaikum, Abi" said Afrin, kissing the back of the man's hand. Aydin is just sad
"Getishalight."
"Can we come in? I'd like to talk to you for a minute" Aydin said.
"Oh, yeah, please." Abi opened the door wide, allowing his guests to enter.
Unlike his wife, Abi is more able to accept everything. Honestly, he is heavy too. But, back again if all is the destiny of God.
"Wait a minute, I make a drink first," said Abi who just stepped up to look back. However, Afrin was prevented first.
"It's not necessary, Abi. We'll just be a minute."
Afrin knew if her presence was undesirable so, being given a talk time was enough. Abi sat back down. The man also wanted to know what Aydin wanted to say.
"Look, Sir. Earlier I apologized for the incident at that time, to make Nuri lose his life. I was completely unintentional, I was also shocked back then and more shamefully, I had taken her sight. I'm really sorry" Aydin said, bowing his head to cover his teary eyes.
"I understand. It's all fate, you know for yourself a woman is more sensitive. It takes time for Umi to accept all of this. Don't force him, the more you force him, the more he'll hate you."
"Yes, Sir. I understand."
"Oh, yeah, wait a minute. I have something for you."
Abi goes into a room that Afrin knows is Nuri's room. Not long after, he returned with an envelope and handed it to Aydin
"This is a deposit from Nuri for you. Somehow he was sure that you would know when before, we had forbidden the doctor to tell your family about the donor. Maybe he knows how great Mr. Emran's family is so, no wonder for him if you know everything so quickly."
Aydin received the letter. There was pleasure in the man's heart, not out of love, but more out of relief. Nuri wrote something at the end of her life. At least he knew what the girl wanted to say to him.
"Thank you, sir. May I know what Nuri's full name is?" aydin asked, looking at Abi.
"What's wrong?"
"I want to name my daughter Nuri in memory of her kindness. I don't mean to be bad, sir."
"His name, Nuri Maulida. Your sister also knows for sure" replied abi while pointing at Afrin.
"Yes, Bi," said the girl.
"I also need permission from you to use that name."
"Everyone's name is the same so, there's no need to ask for permission. Everyone is free to name their child. Nuri's name is also a bsnyak, not just our daughter."
"Please, that's your right."
Aydin nodded with a smile, then they said, "Then we'll excuse you, sorry to trouble your family."
"It's okay" Abi said. "One more thing, please take care of those eyes. Use it for good because my daughter always does good things in sight even once."
Abi felt the need to give advice. After all, he did not want what his daughter gave to be used in a bad way.
"certain, Sir. I'll take care of these eyes and use them for good .. Thank you, we'll excuse you. Assalamualaikum."
"Getishalight."
Aydin left the house along with Afrin. On the way the man kicked the envelope given by Abi Nuri earlier. He also wondered what it was
"Sister, I'm curious. What the hell is it?" ask Afrin.
"Kepoo, you little boy are forbidden to interfere."
"I'm not a child, I'm a college boy soon" Afrin said with a frown.
"You're quiet,"
Afrin was silent, though she was actually curious. What is written in the paper. It was not long before their car finally arrived home. Aydin came down followed by the sister who was still pouting.
"Bak Rani, is she home?" ask Aydin when he sees Rani
"Yes, just got home."
"How's baby Nuri doing?"
"Baby Nuri?" rani who does not know if Aydin's son is named Nuri.
"Yes, Bi, I gave her the name Nuri so, we don't call baby-baby just keep going.
Rani just nodded, not commenting anything. Although there were many questions in his head.
"I go into the room first." Soon Aydin passed into the room without waiting for an answer from Afrin or Rani.
The man wanted to see immediately what the contents of the envelope were. As soon as he got to his room, he immediately locked the door. Aydin didn't want anyone to just walk in. Especially Afrin who had been there.
Aydin sat on the edge of the bed and immediately opened the envelope containing a letter. Soon the man read it.
*****
Assalamualaikum, Aydin.
May you always be healthy.
Don't ever feel guilty for what happened to me, it's fate. Brother knows, I am very happy, to be able to give something precious to Big Brother because what? Brother certainly knows the answer, because I love Aydin very much. Although my love only claps one hand, but I really love Brother.
Only today can I tell you the truth because this is the first and last time I sent a letter. I always pray that Big Brother and Sister Nayla's life is always happy. Sister Nayla is a good woman. I'm so envious of him. He got everything I dreamed of from a long time ago, which was the love of Brother. It was everything to me, but it was all impossible for me to get.
Maybe for everyone, my love is just bullshit, but I hope Big Brother doesn't take it that way. Even if you do not reciprocate, do not despise and humble my love, because my love is truly sincere from my heart and soul.
I also sincerely gave my vision to Brother. Don't ever regret anything because everything is fate and I'm happy to do it.
That's all I want to say. Thank you for gracing my life even though we never wrote a story together.
From the sweetest
Nuri Maulida's
