THE MISSED HEAVEN
Chapter 1
If the love of a servant brings pain and wounds, then I will take that love away until the pain will go away, and the remaining wounds I will treat at all costs. Please help me, O God….
Hani rubbed the droplets of tears that continued to flow soaking her increasingly thin cheeks. He did not expect to have to experience the process of going through a divorce in his household that was only 4 years old, with 3 sons and daughters who were toddlers.
It was the second time he had fulfilled a religious subpoena in the mediation process. But her husband Aditama never once attended a call from the court because of his busy life, so the process passed only represented Aditama's lawyer, Benhart Sujiwo.
“Mbak is fine.?” Hanif shook the hand of her brother Hani who kept daydreaming.
Hani turned her head to the side looking at the face of her twin Hanif who had always been faithful to accompany her during the divorce proceedings. He breathed heavily.
“I'm not okay, Nif..” Hani's gaze blankly stared out the religious court window.
“Mbak can't go on like this. Think of Ariq and Ali, and Hasya. They need mbak.” Hanif clasped his hands tightly to give strength to his only sister.
“Why did Adi betray me to divorce me..” Hani wiped away the tears that are now unstoppable. “If he does not love me, he should not have accepted this match, and married me..”.
“Personation with love.” rutuk Hanif with rough. “If there is no love there cannot be twins and Hasya. I can't accept Aditama doing this. Do not challenge them rich, can do things as they please.” Hanif growled in annoyance.
While inside the same building, a young man was flipping through the divorce papers while reading and studying carefully. He is Faiq Al Fareza, the young judge who will decide the divorce case that Hanifah Az Zahra is currently living with Aditama Prayoga.
“I feel sorry for the young woman.” said Hendro Faiq colleagues who will accompany him in the trial process, “The age is only 26 years, but already bears the title of widow with 3 children.”
“Are you interested in him.” sela Hesti who is also a colleague of their profession, while putting warm tea on the table Faiq.
Hendro looked at Nesti with a smile, “Say aja mbak Nesti jealous, because mas Faiq will face the widow ayu.”
“What the heck mas Hendro..” He felt ashamed, because what Hendro said was a lot of truth. It has been a year since his closeness with Faiq made his own pounding in his chest. The young judge whose age had entered the 3rd head had made the seeds in his heart grow uncontrollably. They have been working one-stop for almost 3 years, but since Faiq began to replace a senior who had entered full service, their relationship was closer even though it was still a distance away.
Dr. Faiq Al Fareza, LC, MH., Al-Azhar alumnus of Egypt. Who is not fascinated by him. With a towering posture, handsome face and sultan's descendants, no wonder the girls who work at the South Jakarta Religious Court try to attract his attention. Only Hesti Handayani managed to get close to him even without status because of the work relationship that kept them together.
“If I was single, that's for sure.” Hendro answered straightforwardly.
“If virgins are still many, why choose a widow?” Hesti glanced at Faiq with a displeased look.
“Janda is getting in front, bro.” fast Hendro.
Faiq smiled thinly, “You are like no work only.” He continued to read the divorce petition filed by Aditama Prayoga against Hanifah Az Zahra, which explained that the husband sued for divorce because the wife got a disability or illness with the result of not being able to carry out his obligations as wife, plus point wife commit adultery, so that there are continuous disputes and quarrels and there is no hope of living together again in the household.
“Mas Faiq, comment dong.” pinta Hesti spoiled, make Faiq turn to him.
“What should I say...?” Faiq frowned, not understanding Hesti's words while looking at Hendro.
“Mas Hendro do not miss ..” sela Hesti while looking at Faiq shyly but really want.
Faiq shook his head at the behavior of his two colleagues. He got up from his seat not forgetting to bring the documents he had read at a glance stepping out of the meeting room into his study. But before stepping foot into his room, Faiq passed through the waiting room. The look in his eyes was distracted by a young woman standing by the window, so covering some of the glass made the light only partially enter the room.
Slowly Faiq walked up to the woman, “Sorry mbak, do not feel glare challenging the sunlight like that?”
Hani turned to look for a voice that reprimanded him. He looked at the man with a face that was not glowing.
“Deg...” Faiq was stunned to see a female figure who looked at him without making a sound. A shady look with round eyes made his heart stop beating for a moment.
Without answering Hani moved from where he stood, slowly stepping into the courtroom regardless of Faiq's gaze that could not be separated from him.
Faiq immediately entered his study and sat down in a chair whose desk was filled with files with a laptop still on. That faint glare of my eyes continued to disturb his mind.
“Astagfirullahadjim, yes Allah... what happened to me ..” He sighed heavily. Highlight the shady eyes with my lash lashes that can not be separated from his memory.
“What he was accompanying his brother who attended the trial today.” Faiq muttered to himself. He could not deny, the first meeting with the shady eye has disrupted his current concentration.
“Ah, stop. Focus.” Faiq cheers himself on. He glanced at the watch on his wrist which had shown at 8.45 minutes. Today he began to replace Mr. Husen who will enter full service to lead the divorce trial. “This is the first divorce case I've handled. May Allah make my business..”.
The knock on the door of his room made Faiq put the divorce papers on the table. “10 minutes more trial will begin.” Hendro advanced his head to look into the room Faiq told him.
“Ya, I'll be ready soon.” Faiq immediately put on his royal clothes following the footsteps of Hendro who had joined Hesti and some of their colleagues who would accompany the trial of both divorce cases Aditama Prayoga and Hanifah Az Zahra.
Faiq's footsteps walking in front of him made Hesti gulp. He was so admiring that sturdy and handsome figure, which seemed untouchable, could only be seen and admired but was hard to reach. But Hesti didn't care, as long as he was still beside Faiq, he would do anything to attract the handsome judge's attention.
Faiq immediately sat in his great chair while tidying up the file that was in front of him. Hesti, Hendro and 3 colleagues, Rudi, Anggi and Darwin are filling the ledger and other administrations.
Faiq's eyes were fixed on the figure who had stopped his world for a moment, sitting beside a young man with a tense face. He spread his eyes to the side, he saw another young man accompanied by a lawyer and a woman who held a file and gave it to the lawyer.
“Trial will start soon.” Hendro let out his voice making the room instantly quiet. “Please the plaintiff to read out the lawsuit letter.”
Bernhart Sujiwo immediately stood up to read the letter of lawsuit that had been authorized by Aditama to him.
The quiet room listened to the contents of Aditama's lawsuit as the plaintiff to his own wife, Hanifah Az Zahra, read by his lawyer who was witnessed by Aditama's assistant Johan Pangestu, who had known Hani well.
Johan looked at Hani with pity. She knew that what Bernhart had read was not true, but Linda's mother Adi and Helen's secretary Adi, who is now her young wife, had planned and arranged it all.
