Chapter 84
In his long sleep Hani felt he was walking through the passage of time. He saw such a beautiful garden. Hani scanned his surroundings, he saw many small children playing cheerfully. Hani felt alien to the park he passed by.
While crossing a pond Hani was surprised to see his parents sitting with a happy look.
“Dad, mom...” Hani can't believe she will meet her second figure, “I miss you.”
Ginanjar and his wife immediately hugged their daughter with a happy feeling.
“Papa ..” Hani sees Sofyan in-laws walking towards her with a bright smile.
They shed each other's longing and chatted for a few moments. Until finally the three say goodbye to leave Hani alone.
“Where are you and mom going?”
“We will continue our journey. Trust me mom and dad love you so much and Hanif.”
“I want to come with dad and mom.”
“Ra, your path is still long. You can't follow mom and dad.” Ginanjar held back Hani who was preparing to follow her steps.
“True what your father said, son.” Sofyan also held back Hani's move. “There are still responsibilities that you have to take care of. Return back..”.
Hani let go of the three people he greatly respected and loved. Over time he heard the voice of the teaching man echoing the Asma of God, whispering…
“Wake up dear, mas and children need you.” Faiq's tears trickle back as he looks at his wife's pale face that is like an undead.
He whispered softly in Hani's ear. When his fingers again clasped Hani's fingers, a sudden movement occurred.
“Ehm, ha..us. a.i..r...” Hani's voice sounded almost inaudible.
“Subhanallah, alhamdulillah, Allahu akbar...” Praise sentences sounded instantly from Faiq's mouth, realizing that his wife had awoken from her long sleep.
Faiq quickly squeezed the bell that was next to Hani's bed. Hani's gaze furrowed as she saw Faiq in front of her with a tangled appearance and a face filled with whiskers and fine sideburns that had not had time to shave.
“Whose you?”
“Dar!!” The mere context of Hani's question made Faiq surprised. He looked into those clear eyes with a thumping feeling.
“Do you not know me, dear? I'm so grateful you've regained consciousness. The kids miss you so much. Also our baby..” Faiq can not resist his excitement.
Hani looked at Faiq in confusion. He did not know the man in front of him. With a plan Hani pulled his fingers that were in the grasp of Faiq.
Faiq was shocked at Hani's refusal. He stared fixedly at his wife, but Hani immediately turned her gaze when dr. Eva and her assistant approached her.
Now dr. Eva asks Faiq to get out of the room. He wanted to test Hani's memory.
“Mother get to know the guy?” he asked with a friendly smile, not wanting to force Hani to think harder.
Hani quickly shook his head. He touched his stomach. And remember something.
“Doctor, have I given birth? How's condition? Is the baby a girl?”
Hani's question led to dr. Eva's confused. He felt Hani was amnesic but had to be observed more deeply in the type of amnesia he had. But she remembered that she was pregnant. What the hell is going on?
“Do you remember the name of your husband, other siblings, or both parents?”
“Quite mother. Thanks for the information yes..” Dr. Eva stopped Hani's words with a smile, “Now you rest first huh. And the mother does not have to worry about the sons and daughters of the mother in a safe state.”
“Princess?” Hani frowned, “Doctor don't joke, last I ultrasound baby I bear is a girl.”
“Good mother. Your daughter's right. She is very beautiful like her mother.”
A smile immediately rose on Hani's face hearing dr. Evas. His own face disappeared immediately hearing dr. Evas.
“Mother should think rilex yes. Don't stress, the baby's milk need intake of ASI from mother.”
“Thank you, doctor.” Hani smiled nodding at dr. Evas.
When dr. Eva came out of the room where Hani was in Hanif and Faiq was already waiting for her tensely.
“You both please come to my room, one more hour. I along with other doctors will take follow-up to deal with the case experienced by Ms. Hani.” Dr. Eva asked the two to wait.
Hanif and Faiq are now in the practice room. Evas. Both of them can't wait for dr. Eva is still meeting with several doctors who handle Hani.
An hour later dr. Eva was already in the room. He looked at Hanif and Faiq alternately.
“I ask you both introduce yourself to me.” Pinta. Evas.
Faiq and Hanif immediately introduced themselves to dr. Evas. Without feeling an hour of conversation that occurred between the three. Dr. Eva asks the story of Hani's past, which Hanif answers.
“Based on the analysis of the doctors who handle, the possibility of Madam Hani suffering from amnesia. But we will do more in-depth observation, to find out the type of amnesia.”
“Does it harm my wife, doc?” Faiq asked in an anxious tone.
“If this has happened, usually patients with amnesia forget some important events that have been past, or it could be the opposite will forget new events.” dr. Eva explained patiently.
Hanif and Faiq listened carefully. If it happened to Hani then Faiq could not imagine his days would be back quiet.
“How can your team diagnose my wife having amnesia?” Faiq still could not believe what Hani was going through.
“Don't you have witnessed for yourself, that madam Hani doesn't remember you.”
Faiq's lips locked in hearing dr. Evas. She remembers Hani's confused look because she was the first person when Hani awoke from a coma for three months.
“We as a team of doctors will examine the cause of Ms. Hani experiencing amnesia by conducting the following series of supporting examinations: Cognitive tests, to check thinking and memory skills, Blood tests, to detect infections in the brain, and, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) utilizing magnetic fields and radiofrequency waves or CT scan (computed tomography scan) is a medical action using X-rays to see the presence of damage, bleeding, and brain tumors, and Electroencephalogram (EEG), to detect electrical activity in the brain.”
”Do your best for my wife, doc. Whatever cost is required I will prepare.” Faiq said softly.
With a lackluster step Faiq headed towards the room where Hani was taken care of. He sat in the waiting chair in front of Hani's room, trying to reduce the sudden sadness.
The team of doctors has brought Hani to do a series of examinations to find out for sure the type of amnesia experienced by Hani.
Faiq closed his eyes in remembrance of event after event before Hani's fall from the stairs. If he could turn back, he wouldn't leave Hani once they got back into control. He will stay at home with her and take care of her, he will not let Hani do anything that will harm her and her fetus.
