Chapter 252 S2 (Residency of the Ex)

Ivan casually entered Edward's car which had been waiting for him at Singapore's Changi airport. Moments later he arrived at the Marina Bay Sands hotel.  A warm feeling was present in his heart that he was now in the same building as his wife and children.

In the hotel lobby, Edward was waiting for him, holding out the hotel room card he had reserved in Ivan's name. The two immediately embraced once they faced each other.

“Thanks Bro. You have provided very valid information for me,” Ivan was pleased as the two sat relaxing on the hotel lobby sofa.

“How long have you been here?” Ivan looked closely at Edward because they had not communicated with each other for a long time.

“Three days. I have a business meeting with my colleague who happens to live in Singapore,” replied Edward casually.

Now his eyes are getting serious. Many things he wanted to ask Ivan because he accidentally saw Khaira with two adult men with two twin boys entering the same location as him when he was enjoying breakfast in the morning restaurants hotel.

First seeing her, Edward was not sure that the woman in the covered dress was Khaira. But he knew Ariq, because he was present at Ivan's wedding and reception.  But the other man he didn't know.

"Mrs. Ariq Prayoga's .... " Edward stood up as soon as his friend-in-law's entourage passed him.

"Mrs.  Edward Fernandez," Ariq replied to Edward's greeting and received a helping hand, both shaking tightly.

He looked at the woman standing beside Ariq who was also looking at him, nodding her head, as well as the stranger man among them.

"Mas, we're looking for a place .... " Khaira said quietly to Ariq who was still in conversation with Edward.

Edward was fixated, he recognized that clear and familiar voice.

"Miss Rara .... " Edward immediately greeted him because he did not want to be wrong with what he saw.

"Mrs. Fernandez," Khaira nodded her head.

Edward's daydream was interrupted considering their meeting two days ago.

“Did Rara have been married since parting with you,” Edward looked at Ivan seriously, “I saw him with his two little children and his male friend who was always with him."

“They're my children,” Ivan replied instantly.

“What? Are you sure?” edward's eyes round in disbelief hearing Ivan's words, “What if your guess is wrong, and Rara has remarried.”

“I know Rara very well. She is not a woman who easily drops her heart,” said Ivan with a far-sighted look, “My struggle will be heavier to open her heart this time.”

“What do you mean?” Edward looked at her not understanding.

“I just found out that the twins turned out to be my flesh and blood,” Ivan said in a tone full of sadness, “And it happened two days ago because there was a small accident.”

Edward looked at his best friend with a wrinkled face. He doesn't understand the real story. Although he had to admit, when he looked at the little princess who was with Khaira reminded him of Bryan, son of Ivan who had died.

“They have hidden this truth ... “ Ivan's words are barely audible, “Even Rara has changed her identity.”

Ivan awakened. Now he has found a bright spot. Naturally he could not know the existence of Khaira because his identity was different.

“Nearly three years I searched for the whereabouts of Rara, even I thought the twins adopted children,” Ivan shook his head realizing his stupidity.

“Lantas what will you do now?” Edward looked at Ivan curiously, “Do you think Rara's family can forgive you back?”

“I will try to do in my own way,”

“Do we need to kidnap the three of them and we take them away to a remote island?”

Ivan smiled faintly at Edward's words. He knows, this friend does have a free adventurous spirit and always do whatever he likes and he thinks is right regardless of the feelings of others.

“Not. I've been a father to a son and a daughter. I will keep my good name, so that my children remember his father as a good and responsible man,” said Ivan softly.

Now his eyes are fixated on the figure of Khaira who walks with two babby sitters who take the twins for a walk in the afternoon which is quite warm and not too hot. But he was not alone there were two body guards accompanying them within two meters.

Khaira does not realize that Ivan already knows where he is. Currently he is with babby sitter and two body guards who Ariq ordered to follow wherever he took the twins who could not stand still and were active.

Ariq took them to Singapore, wanting to make sure that the Dawn condition was not severe. It just so happened that he had a business meeting with his partner from Singapore. He gave Khaira freedom if she wanted to travel with the twins.

“She is always beautiful,” Edward instantly praises Khaira who passed by them casually, “I'm surprised you can refrain from being with her.”

He was unaware of Ivan's change in face, hearing his praise for his wife. Both did not take their eyes off.

“I realized the mistake I made. I don't care, until whenever I will always wait for his apology for me.” Ivan said with a sigh.

“Have you divorced her?” Edward looked at Ivan with a frown.

Ivan shook his head. He was thankful that he had not done what Edward had said. If that happens, then the fight will be even more difficult. But as hard as Ivan will not falter, he has learned from past experiences. And he will survive to get an apology Khaira, let alone the twins who became their binders.

“Mother, or want tana .... “ Dew running small towards exit.

The fountain in the hotel garden makes Dew and Dawn so excited. Both baaby sitter even Khaira himself feel tired following the activities of both.

Ivan's eyes glared as he saw the shadow of Anwar and Ariq walking together towards Khaira and the two now exhausted boys sitting on a park bench. He could do nothing when Ariq, Anwar with Khaira and the twins entered the car.

“You're just being a spectator?” Edward mocked Ivan who did not budge from his chair.

“I will move if the time allows,” Ivan said by suppressing his emotions. He did not want to be provoked by Edward's provocation.

“You want to know what room your wife and child are staying in?” Edward looked at Ivan with his smile.

“You know more about everything.” Ivan smiled faintly, “I don't need anything else. Simply being around them and seeing them together has made me happy.”

“I don't think you've changed,” Edward looked at Ivan in surprise at the change in attitude. Usually Ivan always asks for his opinion in deciding anything, but not this time.

“I am trying to change for my wife and children,” replied Ivan with certainty.

“Happy to have found your family back,” Edward patted his shoulder, “Do you not want to join your wife and children?”

“Not yet,” replied Ivan seriously, “I will always shadow wherever they are.”

“I'm sorry,” Edward got up from the chair, “This 11 hours has an appointment with client.”

“Thank you for your help,” Ivan hugged Edward to thank him for the information he provided.

Like a detective Ivan follows every move of Khaira and the twins. After performing the Magrib prayer, he received an invitation from Edward to meet with his client and have dinner together.

Not wanting to be suspected by Khaira's brother, Ivan complies with Edward's invitation. He accepted it because Edward had posted a photo of Khaira with the twins, Ariq and two men had just entered the restaurant inside the same building.

Ivan rushes to the restaurant where Edward and his partner have decided. Ivan smiled flatly as he approached Edward, he saw two women who had filled his past.

“Alex .... “ Claudia greeted him with an uncomfortable feeling.

Ivan put on his face. Edward meets George and Claudia and makes an appointment for dinner together.

Edward glanced at Ivan who without a smile shook his body beside him without saying a word.

“In the near future we meet a client who will cooperate with me and also George,” Edward said casually.

Edward can see Claudia's uneasy uneasiness when meeting Ivan. George tried to be friendly to see Ivan's presence.

“How are you?” George greeted Ivan who remained unmoved with his flat face.

“Good,” Ivan replied short. He was lazy to talk to George.

“The awaited guest has arrived,” Edward immediately stood up to welcome a peranakan with an age far above them.

“Ivan ... “ voices of women who had been close to him made Ivan look up.

He smiled wryly to see Sandra holding a man peranakan parobaya with her appearance is always sexy.

“Wah, like a reunion with the exes,” Edward whispered with his little smile.

“You deliberately involved me with all this,” Ivan replied to Edward, “But it has no effect.”

“I know,” Edward chuckles.

Recalling Sandra and Claudia's conversation inside Khaira's cell phone being accidentally left behind, Ivan is sick of being in the same place as the two. Just to appreciate Edward and wait for what he was looking for kept Ivan in the same place.

The restaurant looks crowded, especially when it starts to enter the weekend. Ivan repeatedly circulated the scene trying to find the figure of Khaira and the twins. But let alone the man, his shadow is invisible.

He did not follow the conversation that occurred between Edward, George and a man named Michael Chang.  He was lazy to comment when George tried to involve him in the conversation that occurred.

“Mr. Alexander .... “ Edward introduces Ivan when Michael's gaze is on him, “He's my best friend.”

Ivan had to accept Michael's outstretched hand to him with a faint smile in honor of his client Edward.

He ignores Claudia and Sandra's frequent gaze on him. He was still busy replying to Danu's email as well as several other emails that came in.

When the business conversation was over between the three, the dinner menu was on the table.  Ivan did not really enjoy the menu, his mind was still wandering trying to find the whereabouts of Khaira and the twins in the vast room.
