Chapter 241 S2 (No Bright Point)
Ivan stepped into Ariq's IT company quickly. He didn't care about the receptionist trying to hold him back.
“Forcuse us sir, Mr. Ariq does not want to meet anyone,” the receptionist who tagged Lisa tried to hold back Ivan's steps.
Not without reason they obstructed Ivan, long before Ariq had informed and showed a photo of Ivan, so as not to be allowed to see him.
“I-in-law Mr. Ariq. How could he forbid his brother to meet him,” Ivan still forced his way in.
The receptionist immediately contacted Ariq via telephone. He told me that people who had been blacklisted were still forcing their way in.
Ariq stayed head bobbing looking at Ivan's behavior from a laptop screen connected to a cctv in his study.
“Just let him in,” finally Ariq allowed the receptionist to let Ivan meet him.
“Assalamu’alaikum .... “ Ivan immediately broke into the room Ariq without greeting Ariq's secretary who was still busy facing the laptop.
“Wa’alaikumussalam,” Ariq replied quickly without turning his face away from the laptop screen.
Without waiting for Ariq's offer, Ivan immediately threw his body in the chair opposite Ariq.
“I want to know the whereabouts of my wife,” Ivan directly expressed his wish without further ado.
Ariq gave him a quick glance, then continued his work of checking some incoming emails through the laptop.
“Which wife do you mean?”
“Of course Rara,” toilet Ivan fast.
“Heh!” Ariq put on a cynical face, “What are you back for. Have you not been happy with your little family. Even you have proposed to the woman who has given you a child who is the pride of you and your mother.”
“I never did. It was just the work of irresponsible people,” argued Ivan fast.
Ariq looked at Ivan with a cynical face, “Then what are you here for? Have you not been happy with your first love that gave you a child. It's not that we don't know, all your past videos have been widely spread in the media outside.”
“That's not true,” argued Ivan, “I've never married Claudia.”
“True or not that's your problem. Let Rara live quietly. He's still young. We want him to start a new life. Like you who have chosen with your son and the woman of your past.”
“It won't happen. Until whenever Rara remains my wife!” Ivan said firmly, “I just want to pay for my mistakes in the past for never knowing that he exists. And I tried to treat Bryan as much as I could, though now God wills another. He has left quietly …. “
Ariq saw a tone of sadness as Ivan said that, but he did not care. Ivan's actions against Khaira led them to close the door to receive Ivan back in their extended family.
“Is it because the child died you want to go back with Rara?” Ariq stared at Ivan sharply, “Unfortunately Rara is not here. He has left and does not want to meet you until anytime.”
“Please give me Rara's address. I want to meet him.” Ivan tried to ask politely, as Ariq continued to refuse to inform Khaira of his new abode.
“Basic stubbornness,” Ariq was annoyed to face Ivan who did not want to give up with all the reasons he gave.
“I will not demand Rara to give me a child. I love him, and want to be with him until the end.”
Ariq smiled cynically, “Rara is already in no mood to live together with you. He would rather go. Respect his decision.”
“Didn't he think about my feelings?” there was a sense of regret Ivan remembered what he had said that hurt his wife's feelings, “Please give me a chance. If Ariq gives you Rara's address, let me fight for Rara to take me back.”
“Oh dear master Alexander Ivandra, when you brought a child and allowed your past lover to come home, did you think of Rara's feelings? Enjoy your life now. There may still be other children due to your association in the past.”
Ivan was offended to hear Ariq's words, but he was unable to answer because it was indeed the reality that had happened. He just sighed holding back the emotions and feelings of longing deeply on the figure of his wife.
“How could he do it. Please give me the address,” Ivan is still begging Ariq for his mercy, “I promise not to waste it.”
“For so long you lived a lie, but Rara kept covering everything from us and thought everything was fine,” Ariq looked at Ivan cynically, and then looked at Ivan, “Which woman can live a married life with a lot of drama in it.”
Ivan fell silent. He admitted his mistake was fatal. But can't he hope to be back with his wife. He looked at Ariq with a face full of hope so that his brother-in-law could fulfill his wish.
“Over time we appreciate your decision and Rara to bring Bryan into your household, even though we are worried that one day you will choose Bryan and his mother. And as we thought, all of that happened. So now we on behalf of the family will protect Rara, and honor her desire not to meet and be with you again.”
Ivan shook his head in disbelief. That was how much Khaira hated him so she didn't want to see him.
“Please, Rara won't sue you. Like you wanted to take Rara off. Once he stepped it was impossible for him to return. As your wish has been let go, so have we. Now there is no more bond between the two of you nor us brothers. You are just two strangers who do not know each other, as well as we” Ariq stressed.
“Until any time I won't divorce Rara. And anyone could not marry her,” Ivan did not accept the words of Ariq who had broken the bond of marriage that occurred between her and Khaira.
“Oh sir Alexander, all can be controlled money.”
“I will keep looking for him, even if the world does not support me,” challenge Ivan.
Irritatedly Ivan left Ariq's study. His arrival was in vain. Ariq did not give him what he wanted. He must search for himself to find Khaira without involving his brother-in-law, as they have decided to separate them. He will fight and bring Khaira back to their long-empty, uninhabited home.
That night Ivan sat in the study at his mother's house. He was lazy to go back and fix everything left in his old house. It does not mean for him to go home if without the presence of Khaira who accompanies him.
He tried to turn on Khaira's phone which was accidentally left in a safe where storage of goods and important papers he had. He hopes to find the bright spot of the phone left behind.
After the batre was full, Ivan immediately removed the installed charge. He immediately turned it on. He easily opened Khaira's phone as there was no safety attached.
He frowned when he saw a voice message from an unknown number enter the phone that was in his hand. Curious Ivan immediately clicked on the message button.
“Ivan never loved his wife. He married Khaira because of his kasian to the widow of his own friend ... “ female voices are heard loudly speaking in the concoction.
“Are tou sure .... “
“The betrothed of the woman died carrying the moge that Ivan was going to use to propose to me. It was because of his guilt that Ivan was forced to marry her. That's why we split up.”
Ivan is shocked to hear the conversation inside the recording inside Khaira's phone. He clenched his hands withstanding the emotions. He knew the voice of the woman who was speaking. They are Sandra and Claudia.
Ivan's gaze shifted on the delivery date, his head was throbbing looking at the date listed, three days before the event splashed Bryan into the pool. He shook his head in disbelief that Claudia and Sandra had planned something bad on his and Khaira's relationship.
His fingers again opened some videos sent from an unknown number. Ivan's eyes were round in disbelief. His old video while still in contact with Claudia was sent without any censorship. Ivan even felt disgusted to see it.
He quickly deleted all the videos that made him feel he had no self-respect. Claudia really made it worse in Khaira's view.
“Astagfirullahal’adjim .. O Allah forgive the mistakes of Your servant in the past,” Ivan is completely helpless to face all the realities and his very bad past that Khaira has now known.
From the beginning he never made it clear that he was the cause of Abbas' departure, although all could not be separated from the fate of the Power.
Ivan stares at Khaira's now empty phone of all that makes him hate the past he's been through.
He was able to see Khaira change two days before their departure from home. Seemed sad look already languished on the clear look of his wife. But because his attention was focused on Bryan made him not care about his wife's grief. For Ivan everything is fine.
Ivan continued to regret himself. Now he feels more persistent in fighting to find Khaira. He would not give up until his wife accepted him back to be with the household saddles.
He will crack down on those who have cornered his drift and his past life.now he will not be patient.he will process those who have done work contrary to him. he does not care, everything he will fight to regain the sympathy of the wife.
