Chapter 255 S2 (Khaira Resistance)

Ivan was forced to contact Irene because he needed access to approach the doctor who was on duty at the Mount Elizabeth hospital. Though she had never communicated with Irene since she last visited Irene and her husband the next morning for not coming at their wedding reception.

He arrives with Khaira to eat together at the hotel where the two brides stay before going on their honeymoon to South Korea. The presence of Ivan between the bride and her aunt's nuclear family Beautiful makes Ivan mocked by his other cousins. But with ease Ivan responded to everything. From the conversation between him and Rama, Ivan learns that Rama's cousin works as a surgeon at the famous hospital in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Raymond is Rama's cousin who has worked for 10 years as a heart surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He felt happy when contacted by Rama about the arrival of his brother who will visit dr. Raymond's in the hospital.

That morning Ivan by renting a car as well as the driver followed the activities of Khaira. It is not that Ariq does not know the whereabouts of his former sister-in-law, but he does not want to ruin the mood of Khaira and the two twin boys who are always enthusiastic when taken outside. Today it is their schedule to visit Mount Elizabeth hospital to ensure the condition of Dawn when they have a small accident.  They had an appointment with dr. Eveline Anderson, who handled the twins after Khaira, had a cesarean section.

Anwar was in Singapore to attend the International Heart Doctor Seminar at the Sheraton Tower Hotel, Singapore which will be held two days later. When Khaira told him she would take the twins to Singapore, she was happy and promised to accompany them on a walk to enjoy the city of Singapore while there.

Ariq was pleased that Khaira was accompanying him, but he did not want Khaira to be exhausted. He was carrying a Dew that always wanted to walk on its own. He could not let the little one slip from Khaira's hand. Unlike the Dawn with the herd that Khaira took up to the hotel lobby when Anwar came to pick up.

Ariq and Khaira were relieved to know that Dawn was fine, and there was nothing to worry about.

“Wah, they are very cute and adorable,” dr. Eveline smiled broadly at the twins sitting sweetly in front of her accompanied by Ariq and Khaira, “Tak feels both have been two years.”

“Thank you doctor,” Khaira smiles at the friendly attitude that doctor Eveline showed when communicating with them especially the twins.

In the practice room dr. Raymond and Ivan seemed to be talking casually. Ivan told me the meaning of his arrival.

“I'm happy to visit distant brother,” friendly smile dr. Raymond welcomes the arrival of Ivan, “How are Irene and Rama?”

“They're fine,” Ivan answered accordingly, because he's the type of person who doesn't like to mince words.

“So Mr. Ivan what do you want to consult in this first meeting?” Raymond looked at him attentively.

Ivan was silent for a while, he could not possibly tell the problems that were occurring within his household. But his greatest desire was to know the condition of the son that he never knew their existence until the age of the twins was two years.

“This is not about my health, but my son,” Ivan said.

Raymond looked at Ivan while frowning. He did not understand Ivan's words. Because when Rama called him this morning only told him that his wife's cousin wanted to visit him, so he arranged a visit room schedule to meet the brother in question.

“I want to know the condition of my son,” finally Ivan can not hide his enormous desire.

He recounts a minor accident that happened to his son, a reason that made him unable to accompany Khaira in conducting a quick examination he said. Ivan didn't want Raymond to suspect him.

“For others, I hope you understand. But as a parent I just want to protect our son,” Ivan ends his story.

“Alright,” Raymond mangosteen, “I'll accompany you to see dr. Eveline Anderson's. He's the one who takes care of the children's patients.”

“Thank you Ray. I will not forget your kindness,” Ivan was relieved when Raymond gave an answer that made him feel happy.

An hour later, the two were in the practice room. Eveline was empty of the other patients.

“Good day dr. Raymond,” dr. Eveline smiled kindly looking at the two dashing men inside her practice room.

“I'm sorry dr. Eve,” Raymond call dr. Eveline with her daily call, “Include my brother Alex. He from Indonesia deliberately met you to consult the development of his son.”

Ivan looked at the two doctors before him who were still making small talk while introducing himself. He just smiled while nodding his head as dr. Eveline looked at him kindly.

“What can I help Mr Alex?” now look at dr. Eveline looked at him enthusiastically.

“I want to know the condition of my son who became your patient doc,” Ivan directly conveyed his wishes.

“My patient is very much. Maybe you can say his name?” dr. Eveline smiled looking at the uneasiness depicted on her guests' faces.

“Fajar,” Ivan instantly replied instantly.

Dr. Eveline was silent for a moment. His mind works fast. Two hours ago he was just examining a patient named Dawn. Could it?

“Fajar Setyawan's Son?”

“True,” replied Ivan quickly.

“You don't have to worry. He's fine,” smile dr. Eveline expands perfectly, “The two twin boys are so adorable. I handled it at his second birth two years ago.”

Ivan's choking. He is unable to say. This is what he never knew. She did not expect that it was at this hospital that Khaira had given birth to their two twin boys without her accompanying herself.

“The condition of lady Aisha at that time was not fine,” memory dr. Eveline went back to two years ago while handling the twins.

He heard dr. Philips was in a coma for 6 hours after the operation. But since he was focused on the twins, dr. Eveline only wishes the best for the mother of the twins she handles.

A feeling of sadness again hit Ivan imagining the distress experienced by Khaira when giving birth to their twins. He dissolved in a daydream that made his eyes foggy imagining he was not on Khaira's side at the time.

“Si twins are in very good condition. They became our favorite patients. Beautiful and handsome,” dr. Eveline imagined that the two red babies who had just been born had now become adorable children.

Not wanting to dissolve in sadness, Ivan finally ended the consultation session. I can't ask dr. Eveline about the birth of the twins. The only person he would meet to see their birth documents was ustadz Hanan. He was sure, Khaira completed his documents at the place of Ustadz Hanan.

Now he is not worried anymore after hearing directly from the doctor who has examined the condition of Dawn, the fruit of his love with Khaira which from this moment on he will not let far from his sight.

“I'm sorry,” Ivan looked at Raymond standing beside him, “Thank you for your time, Bro.”

“You are welcome,” Raymond patted his shoulder full of warmth, “Do not hesitate, if there is any problem directly contact me.”

Ivan hugged Raymond before leaving Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Now he felt relieved when he got back to the car. He doesn't want anything else. His mind was now focused on Khaira and the twins.

He contacted Edward to ask about the current position of Khaira and the twins. He felt lucky to have an understanding friend like Edward who was always on standby when he needed to. Three minutes later the message went to the phone.

Ivan quickly opened his phone. A wry smile was drawn on his face seeing Khaira holding Dewun, while Fajar was in Anwar's arms. The four of them entered Vivocity like a happy little family.

Although upset, but Ivan could not do anything. Angrily he asked the driver to drive him to the busiest shopping center in Singapore.

After leaving the hospital, Ariq could not accompany Khaira and the twins to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Singapore, he had to attend the closing of the international seminar of the IT company he attended. Tomorrow afternoon they must return to Indonesia, because Ariq will hold an annual meeting at his company.

Anwar and Khaira accompany the twins playing in the children's play area. The twins seemed happy to see the atmosphere in the playground. Ivan observed all their activities from a distance. Using a mask and a hat made his figure unrecognizable.

Ivan's heart was like pinched by the sight before him. He was supposed to accompany Khaira and the twins, but the position was now done by another man who had no relationship with them at all.

“Yes, Allah make it easy for the servant to unite the family of the broken servant,” Ivan whispered in his heart while rubbing his eyes that felt sore not strong to see everything in front of him.

Meanwhile Khaira opened the phone because there was a message that suddenly entered. He smiled at the order of Fatimah's ustadzah neatly written on the picture he had just received.

“I brought Dede Dew first. There was an order from the cottage,” Khaira approached Anwar who was still accompanying Dawn playing a mini car. Both look very familiar, “Titip Dawn yes ...”

Anwar nodded his head. He was delighted to have the opportunity to take Khaira and the twins on a walk to enjoy the atmosphere of Singapore.  His desire to conquer the heart of the woman who has owned these twins is still very great. He still hopes that one day Khaira will open her heart and accept her presence in their lives.

Ivan follows Khaira and Dew, who begin to move away from the children's play area while keeping a safe distance to keep Khaira unsuspecting.

Khaira casually took Dew to enter the shopping center. He stopped by to pick up a trolley that would make it easier for him to choose the items to be purchased. Dew looks happy when placed on a trolley. Khaira smiled at the Dew who started chattering while singing cheerfully.

As she began to enter the area of women's perfume, Khaira's eyes sparkled seeing what she was looking for right in plain sight. Just as his hand was about to grab the perfume a wiggly finger grabbed it quickly.

Khaira. Not wanting to make trouble Khaira immediately rushed over and pushed the trolley forward. He did not want to greet Claudia, the woman who was now upright in front of him.

Claudia looked at Khaira sharply. Although they had not met for a long time, but from a close distance Claudia felt that the woman who looked closed in front of her was no one else. He was very familiar with the scent of perfume and the clear eyes. He stopped Khaira's steps.

“Excuse me Miss, let us pass,” Khaira said quietly.

“However you wrap yourself up, will not be able to cover up your rot,” Claudia's voice sounded out loud in Khaira's ear.

“Sorry, I have no problem with Miss,” Khaira does not want to respond to Claudia's words.

“You think raising a child can make Ivan come back to you,” Claudia laughs cynically, “I feel sorry, because you are just a barren woman.”

Khaira suppressed the emotion of hearing Claudia's cynical speech. He did not want to embarrass himself by serving Claudia who was like a frustrated person.

Khaira smiled faintly hearing Claudia who spoke at will. He looked at the Dew that was beginning to stop blabbering at the loud voice of the woman before him.

“Entah son whom you picked up to lure Ivan back,” high voice Claudia made Dew cry in surprise.

“Dragon your mouth Miss!” now that Khaira's emotions are provoked to hear Claudia teasing her baby, “You can insult me. But don't kick my daughter.”

“Huh! Claudia sneers. His eyes glanced at the Dew that looked at him with a frightened look, “Maybe you are now happy that Alex has returned to you, and you can enjoy all the wealth of Alex that should be mine.”

Khaira grabbed the Dew and carried it quickly. He did not want the sacred ears of his little princess to be tarnished with the swear words and swearing of the woman of Ivan's past.

“Bless all you Miss. And sorry, we're so much different. I will not use my daughter only for wealth that is of no value to me. So never equate me and with you,” Khaira returned Claudia's gaze sharply.

“Badness!” claudia's hand was already swaying towards Khaira's face when a firm hand held her firmly.

Ivan is angry to see what Claudia did to Khaira and Dewun who now starts crying in Khaira's arms.

“Do not touch Rara and my daughter!” ivan's snapping makes Claudia's guts shrivel.

“Alex .... “ Claudia surprised to realize Ivan's presence in front of her.

He could not believe the words of Ivan who admitted that the daughter who was with Khaira was his son.

Ivan clutched Claudia's hand hard. He did not expect Claudia to have denounced Khaira and her daughter right before his eyes. And he does not accept others insulting the woman and child he will fight for in the future.

“Mother ... “ the crying Dew does not stop while calling him.

Khaira looked at Ivan and Claudia with a cynical look. Without saying anything he left the empty trolley without containing anything. He regretted being in this place, and had to meet people from the past he had forgotten.
