The Desired Angel of Heaven

The Desired Angel of Heaven
Chapter 262 S2 (Secretary of Ustadzah Aisya)

“I know my actions may have left a deep wound against Rara so that her brother did all this .... “ Ivan said impassively.

“Replace identity, annulment of marriage, publication of a new marriage book with a deceased man ... “ ustadz Hanan twitched his suddenly throbbing head while commenting on the complicated problems that befell his best friend.

“My heart is already tied to the twins, let alone their flesh and blood. It felt hard for me to get away from them.. “ Ivan's gaze led to the house where his loved ones took shelter.

“At last I understood what Aisya's body was hiding all this time .... “ ustadz Hanan said quietly while looking at Ivan.

“What do you mean?” chase Ivan fast.

Ustadz Hanan recalled the second time he intended to worship Khaira while both were in the mosque.

“Ustadzah Aisya said that he had a dark secret in his life, which he could not share with anyone,” Ustadz Hanan said almost inaudibly, “He said that he would bear all the past sins he had committed. I was thinking, what a great sin he did that he shut himself up like that .... ”

“Did Rara say that when you applied for her the second time?” Ivan immediately shot ustadz Hanan who was surprised by his question.

“Where did you know that?” ustadz Hanan could not believe Ivan's cynical question with a sharp look at him.

“My eyes and ears are everywhere. I won't let anyone else tease mine,” Ivan said seriously.

“Do not think negatively,” by ustadz Hanan fast, “I will not snatch mine own friend.”

Ivan was immediately speechless to hear the response of Ustadz Hanan to his words. He knows ustadz Hanan is consistent with his words and always keeps his promises.

“Ustadzah Aisya is indeed the best woman I have ever known after my wife,” ustadz Hanan again voiced his heart to Ivan, “He also greatly appreciated my feelings. Even though he refused, but his words did not offend me.”

“What did Rara tell you?” Ivan became curious to hear the words of Ustadz Hanan.

“He sympathizes with the feelings I have for him. But she felt she was not the best woman who could accompany me to be the mother of my children. Only a sense of regret for the sins of the past and the intention and effort to do the better he wants for the twins, as well as the happiness of both of them that will be his priority in the future,” ustadz Hanan imagines Khaira's face as they speak seriously that afternoon, “I briefly thought negatively about the dark past he went through so as to reject my good intentions.”

“Do you think?”

“Now I can conclude, probably .. due to the case of annulment of your marriage and the creation of a new marriage book involving her late husband which led her to close herself, ' he said,” ustadz Hanan looked at Ivan with his reassuring words, “I understand now, it turns out this is the biggest secret that ustadzah Khaira hid from us all.”

“Danu also said like that,” hiss Ivan, “Don't you think that's a big sin?”

“No man is holy without the sin of Ivan. Including myself, sometimes the lust of worldliness is heavier than our thoughts of the hereafter. We humans are weak beings who never escape from khilaf and sin.”

“Well, I totally understand that. I also feel that I made a mistake that might make Rara's brother will not apologize for all my actions to Rara.”

Ustadz Hanan smiled faintly, “In our belief the great sin is shirk that is the act of associating God. Indeed, what Aisha's ustadzah brother did was an offense and blasphemy against religious institutions and the government, for playing with a sacred promise and witnessing it before God. But again, if they had performed the Nasuha prayer and promised not to repeat the same act, surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful and accepts the sincere repentance of His servants. Which other favors of Allah are you denying?”

Ivan's eyes were misty hearing the long words of Ustadz Hanan. He could not help the emotions that were piercing in his heart. All past deeds must be paid very dearly.

“I've felt the torment of living in regret for the past three years for being away from Rara. What's more after learning that she has given birth to the twins, my own flesh and blood ...” Ivan's voice felt stuck in the throat when saying that, “How can I doubt the power of God and tell Rara that she is unable to give me offspring.”

“Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. God will not give trials beyond the ability of His servant. This could be your way to achieve happiness in the future, even though it is full of obstacles and thorns. But rest assured that if Aisya's body is your soul mate, love will not be wrong in choosing. The important thing is to focus on achieving what we want. And always ber’a hoping on the Powerful,” ustadz Hanan pat Ivan on the shoulder who seemed devastated considering all his words and deeds in the past.

“When a small accident happened to Dawn that morning,” Ivan recalls when he followed ustadz Helmi filling the patient's biodata in the puskesmas, “I saw the names of both parents of Dawn.  I saw the name of my late friend Abbas Setyawan as his real father.”

“Did you know that Aisya is your wife who you have been looking for?”  ustadz Hanan's curiosity is getting stronger.

Ivan immediately recounts the first encounter until he took the initiative to follow Khaira's departure to Singapore and find the latest facts in his and Rara's domestic life.

“So this house is yours not Danu?”  ustadz Hanan immediately asked his suspicions over the ownership of a magnificent house built in a not too long time.

Ivan nodded his head quickly.  After long enough to tell stories and pour out everything stored in dadany, his feelings are more relieved. Ivan was relieved to end all the grunts that had been shackling him all this time to the right people.

“I purposely asked Danu to do it for me. If Rara finds out that I am the owner of this house, I fear that she will move further away,” Ivan said grudgingly.

“Why do you think like that?” ustadz Hanan frowned at his words.

“Me and Rara 3 years building a household. She is a reclusive woman, always hiding her sadness alone and considers as if everything is fine.”

“How about the women I saw started paying more attention to you. I was worried that you would be affected by such things again,” Laura's shadow staring at Ivan with a different highlight made ustadz Hanan remind him.

“I just focus on Rara and the twins. They are my family that I will fight for. I will limit myself to all the work because my wish is only one bring Rara and the twins with me back.”

Ustadz Hanan the mangosteen heard Ivan's words full of decisiveness.

The length of time they passed when Ivan spilled all the burdens in his heart was not felt until the dawn of dawn reverberated in the mosque of the cottage.

“Masya Allah does not feel that it has entered the time of Fajr,” ustadz Hanan muttered while glancing at the clock on his wrist.

“Please support me for the twins,” Ivan stared ustadz Hanan expectantly, “I have always loved Rara and could not be far from them.”

“God willing as your best friend I will’akan best for your future. And be earnest in pleading with God. May Allah soon bring forth all that is best for your home life. And may Allah soon unite you in the bonds of the sunnah of the Prophet forming a family of sakinah mawaddah and warahmah,” ustadz Hanan said sincerely while patting Ivan's shoulder trying to encourage him.

“Aamiin Yes Rabbal ‘alamiin,” Ivan's eyes glazed over as he guaranteed the prayer that Ustadz Hanan had said to support his struggle to unite their families in the sacred bond of marriage that had been lost due to the annulment of the past.

“You participated in Fajr prayers in the mosque?” ustadz Hanan looked at Ivan as the two walked side by side to the front door of the house.

“Ya,” Ivan nodded quickly.

“Eh, mr Ustadz not home yet?” Danu was surprised to see Ivan and ustadz Hanan go together. He and his parents had prepared to go to the mosque to attend the congregational Fajr prayers.

“Hearing your boss confide in this, until dawn time is not felt,” said ustadz Hanan with a smile.

Ms. Warti and Mr. Marno looked at Ivan and ustadz Hanan in confusion. The three of them did not realize that the two did not sleep all night because they told each other and provided the best solution for one of them who was experiencing sadness.

Finally the five of them walked together to the mosque which is now starting to be crowded with the residents of the cottage who will perform congregational prayer.
